About: Hello! I am a knowledgeable, responsible animal lover ready to care for and exercise your pets. I have 15+ years of experience with pet sitting dogs, cats, horses, livestock, reptiles, etc! I am detail oriented and can help around the house while you are away, in addition to caring for your pets. I am also an active runner and hiker and would be happy to take your dogs out for some good exercise! I am available for overnight stays at your home, visits and check-ins, and walks/runs! At this time I am not able to board other dogs at my home, since my dog is a rescue and does not do well with other dogs in our home! I also have lots of experience with large animals and am available to groom/ride/exercise. Multiple references available.

About: My husband and I had one dog (Russell) for 12 1/2 years - and now have 2 puppies (Ash - just over 2 years old, Daisy - 1/2 years old). I love them more than anything, and have been using Rover to find dog sitters for the last ~10 years! I am finally retiring and am excited to now help others! Ash and Daisy love other dogs - and we go on lots of adventures - and go on shorter walks and have fun times at home too. I’m excited to take you dog with us, or have your dog or dogs over for stays…..I can drop by to help and do other things as well, whatever you would like to make sure that your dog or dogs are loved while you are away, working, or having fun in Tahoe! My puppies ‘run’ my day, every day! I would take care of yours the same!….walks, play time, breakfast, dinner, sleepovers. Your dog would be loved! About: I have watched dogs since I was young, both at my house and at the owners house. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time 😅 but prefer to keep it to 2-3 total. I have a dog of my own, a long hair-dachshund, that loves to play with all dogs. I make sure the dogs I watch get to play outside each day as I know how important it is for their health and happiness. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I often watch dogs at my house but can drive to check on dogs if it’s nearby. Most weekends I’m outside either hiking or playing the snow and love to take the dogs with me. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access to the upper deck. During the day I often take a morning walk and evening walk in my backyard ranging from 30 minutes to an hour depending on my work schedule that day. I have tons of dog toys and treats that keep the dogs occupied.

About: Hello! I’m a lifetime dog owner. I have two 10 year old dogs Arcata and Izzy and one girlfriend Chelcee. The four of us love to hike, walk, go backpacking, camping or just hang at the house. We would be happy to have another fur ball or two join our adventures. Or perhaps just be a couch potato like our dog Izzy. Whatever they prefer you can be sure we will provide a safe and fun environment. We have a large dog door and a decent sized clean backyard where our dogs love to sun bathe. I’m usually doing homework in our small cozy home where I can be present with our guest(s) at all times. Our backyard is fenced in with a large dog door. We keep a clean tidy home with a fun easy going atmosphere. Most days this includes a walk or two. Followed by treat time. All dogs will be fed separately.

About: I've had pets all my life. I grew up with cats and dogs. My dog Vinny is going to be nine this year. I feel very proud that he is very well behaved and sweet. I can't imagine a life without him. I work full time at a dental office but I am available Monday-Friday to do before work walks 7am-8am and after between 530-8. Weekends are flexible. If your pet needs a friend I can bring my dog Vinny along for walks in the neighborhood and/or the meadow. Or if your pet just needs to be let out and some play time Vinny will come and play in your yard or if needed my back yard.

About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.
