A friend recommended Rover.com and I couldn't be happier or more pleased with how it all worked out, literally the day before I had to leave! I reached out to Stephanie as she looked to be the closest to my house and she was extremely responsive and was willing and able to book the time with my sweet Loki, my 85 pound black English Lab. Stephanie stayed in communication with me when she was heading over, sent photos of how Loki was doing with her - he had never met her before - and let me know when she left. Even my VERY TIMID cat was willing to make an appearance which is a first for her around a stranger. I am/was very impressed with Stephanie's experience with dogs and she demonstrated that she was able to earn both Loki's and Hela (the cat's) trust - she has earned mine too!”

I am detail oriented and can help around the house while you are away, in addition to caring for your pets. About: Hello! I'm Lauren and I absolutely LOVE getting to spend time with dogs and cats, as I miss having my own. I'm experienced with caring for dogs with separation anxiety, dogs and cats that need medication/special treatment, as well as cats and dogs with disabilities. I can check on animals many times in the day, host pets at my house (preferred) and keep pets overnight. I live with my boyfriend, Chase who sometimes helps me with walks when I have multiple dogs. We have a small, short fenced yard for dogs to run around in. My home is dog and cat safe, where they will not be able to get into any plants, food, or objects that would be harmful. In the client's home, I follow normal protocol that owners use. I always pick up poop in the yard and if staying multiple nights at the owners home, I will take out trash, do my dishes, and clean as necessary (basically treat it like an Airbnb!)

About: I've had pets all my life. I grew up with cats and dogs. My dog Vinny is going to be nine this year. I feel very proud that he is very well behaved and sweet. I can't imagine a life without him. I work full time at a dental office but I am available Monday-Friday to do before work walks 7am-8am and after between 530-8. Weekends are flexible. If your pet needs a friend I can bring my dog Vinny along for walks in the neighborhood and/or the meadow. Or if your pet just needs to be let out and some play time Vinny will come and play in your yard or if needed my back yard.

About: My fiance and I have a Bulldog Lab mix with epilepsy named Asparagus. Seizures with a 90+ dog are difficult, but I do what I need to to make sure he is comfortable and not a danger to himself. My life long friend, Dodger, passed away at 15 this last year. She passed in my arms, after about a year of doing everything we possibly could to keep her comfortable, including administering ointments and frequent diaper changes. I love animals more than I love people and have been caring for all sorts since I was very young. I also have experience with cats, chinchillas, and an assortment of reptiles, rodents, and amphibians. My schedule is very flexible, which is great because I can make room for all the lovely animals out there! I am a bartender around town, but this never takes up full days. I am attentive and caring. I am also very observant and great at reading situations, whether that be with the environment or other animals or needs more specific to your pet.
