“On schedule and very thorough during her check ins. My kitties were very happy, well fed and clean when we got back home from our vacation away. Will definitely re-book!”

“Very satisfied with our pet sitter. He fed our cats, cleaned their litter boxes, and played with them. He was also in constant communication so we got pictures and updates. We'll definitely hire them again.”

I am detail oriented and can help around the house while you are away, in addition to caring for your pets. I am also an active runner and hiker and would be happy to take your dogs out for some good exercise! I am available for overnight stays at your home, visits and check-ins, and walks/runs! At this time I am not able to board other dogs at my home, since my dog is a rescue and does not do well with other dogs in our home! I also have lots of experience with large animals and am available to groom/ride/exercise. Multiple references available.

About: I’m Chloe, and animals have always been part of my everyday life. Growing up on a farm taught me responsibility, patience, and how to care for pets of all kinds. I have over 10 years of experience with dogs and cats and truly enjoy walking, playing, cuddling, and making sure every pet feels safe and loved while their owner is away. Pet care isn’t part of my everyday routine, but when I take on a booking, it becomes a priority. I plan my schedule around each pet’s needs to make sure they get consistent care, attention, and exercise while keeping their normal routine as much as possible. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their usual routines as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure pets are fed, walked, exercised, and given attention according to their normal schedule. As well as extra love and snuggles, I love pets!!
About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.
“This was our first time leaving the animals for this long and the regular updates from Sandra made it all so much easier. She came over to meet the animals before we went out of town, and was always communicative and timely when she was coming to sit. Super appreciate it. Will be hoping to book her again!”
About: Growing up with animals gave me a special appreciation and gratitude for all fur babies. I’ve cared for many animals throughout my life. I even lived on an animal sanctuary for a year and half tending to rescued farm animals. At home we have a three friendly and happy cheweenies, all the more to guarantee your pup will be worn out and feel at home ◡̈ I currently work remotely full time from home, therefore I have an open schedule. I’m an earlier riser 6:30am and hit the pillow around 9:30/10pm. I’m available and happily willing to take care of your fur babies within the comforts of their own home. Whether they’re just needing a few pets, feedings, plays, cuddles, beach visits or hikes I’m your guy.
About: I got my first dog for my 8th birthday and have loved and cared for many ever since! From chihuahuas to Dobermans, I’ve walked, fed, played, and trained so many sizes and kinds. I work for myself so my schedule is very flexible. I love being outside as much as I can, so always available for longer walks for those restless ones. I can easily adjust to any needs or wants your pet may need! Slow and steady walks with lots of sniffs or maybe a fast paced run and a dip in the river to get the energy out.. I can be flexible and do either!
About: Hi there! My name is Andi, I’m a ski patroller and avalanche rescue dog handler at Heavenly. I’m on Rover to look for part time work while getting to do something I love, be with animals. I’m a full time ski patroller in the winter and an EMT in the summer. I grew up with and helped raise an few animals in my family, volunteered at my local SPCA and have several years of experience dog sitting and walking. I can take dogs on walks, trail running or swimming, I love anything outdoors. I am a certified EMT and although I do not have education in dog healthcare specifically, I would consider my medical and rescue skills as expert. I currently have a 10 month old black lab puppy that is in training to be an avalanche rescue dog and have worked with the other dogs on our team with training, obedience and avalanche rescue skills. I typically have Tuesday-thursday off each week and am available those days anytime to help with pet care. On Friday-Monday I am available in the morning and evening to help with walks, adventures or just letting your pet out and giving them some pets. I am excellent at routines and following directions, I am happy to learn and implement whatever routine works best for your pets. I love to trail run and hike and can take your pets with me or just hangout at the park or home if that’s what they prefer. “Alyssa was SO great with the kitties. She was very attentive, responsible, and reliable and she was excellent at communicating through the app. I saw on my Ring that my boys eagerly waited at the door when they heard her car pull in. We will definitely use Alyssa again if we need a sitter in the future & we will recommend her to our friends.😁”

“Caitlin was super easy to communicate and work with! Yeti had a great time hanging out during our visit to Tahoe and he came home happy and ready to snuggle and sleep!”

“Excellent sitter, took great care of my babies and my home while we were away. I plan on using Jeff again, as my husband and I travel often. So happy to have found someone like him to care for our babies. He took care of my patio umbrella when a storm came up, cleaned the Great Danes’s chew mess up, and retrieved packages from the porch. Jeff is great, he treats your animals just like one of your children…. Just like we do. You can’t go wrong if you call on him! And Rover is an amazing service, so glad it’s there. It’s much better than leaving them in a tiny kennel while not home.”

About: I have been an animal, lover and pet owner since my young years of life! I’ve always owned dogs and cats and have watched over loved ones animals as well over the years. I’ve spent the last two years professionally walking dogs in the Tahoe area for families of all different needs - whether it is housesitting, drop- in visits, or boarding needs - for small dogs, large dogs, puppies, and older animals, my experience is thorough and backed by love. I am a very active individual and can take animals needing high activity, hiking or running, but I’m also happy to relax with those calmer pets who enjoy the slower peace of life. I have endless references to provide insight to my past care and glowing reviews, and can’t wait to be considered for your furry ones care and create ease in the household when needed! I currently work as a Remote Insurance Agent for Globe Life which allows me full flexibility to accommodate your family's and furry loved ones needs - I have availability for overnight care, boarding requests, drop in visits for tailored walks or playtime, potty breaks, feedings, medical requests, and prompt check-ins. This change of pace has been a nice alternative from the hustle and bustle of past work experience as a project coordinator, logistics broker, hospitality leader in the concierge world, and constant stream of server jobs! Dependable care is the name of my game for your family's needs. I have a large fenced backyard off of North Upper Truckee Road in South Lake Tahoe and access to endless trails such as the Angora Meadow and Big Meadow. I have one loving and sweet dog named Addy who will be a perfect and compassionate companion for your pets or can be separated if requested. My cat, Maithai, likes to observe dogs from a distance and stays to herself unless she is in a playful mood. She can be separated as well since my spacious 3 bedroom home offers such accommodations. I have reliable transportation with ample space in my Toyota Sienna. Whatever services you request or needs you prioritize - I can guarantee to be able to deliver. Your comfort and trust in my care takes all precedence!
