About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.

About: I have grown up with pets all my life and constantly took care of, walked, fed, bathed my dogs & cats. My dog had puppies a few times growing up and I was responsible for caring for the mom and all the babies until they were old enough to leave. I absolutely love dogs & cats and have so much fun walking or sitting them! I always house sit & watch my friends dogs and cats when they are away. I am their go to person to ask. I work part time for accommodation so I am free most of the time to dog walk or sit! I only work part time hours. If you have a fenced in yard I would take them out to play or use the restroom! I also would take them on walks or if you want I can take them to the dog park or dog beach! Happy to do whatever makes you feel comfortable! If you need the dog crated I can do this as well. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. If your dog cannot be left alone for a few hours at a time you'll need to look elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access. About: As lifelong dog owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. We have experience volunteering at the humane society, and have spent the last few years pet sitting dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether they need long walks, playtime, or just some cuddles on the couch, our goal is to stick to your dog's normal routine and treat them like one of our own. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We work 3–4 days a week and often work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home or available throughout the day. If we do work the same day, our shifts are in the evening, so we still have the entire morning and afternoon to spend with your pet. We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel at home while in our care. We have a fenced-in backyard and live just minutes from the marsh and beach, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. We understand that every owner has their own routines and expectations, and we will always respect your instructions and your pet’s needs. I live a pretty active lifestyle. I don’t mind taking your dog for a hike. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. About: Dogs have always been part of my life. My family has trained working dogs, including avalanche and search-and-rescue dogs, which gave me a deep respect for canine behavior, safety, and communication. I’ve owned high-energy breeds like huskies and now have a playful golden retriever. Whether your dog loves long walks or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I work from home as an independent contractor, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks and check-ins throughout the day. I love being outside, enjoy longer walks, and I’m currently training for an ultramarathon—so your dog will always have a willing, energetic walking partner. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, energy level, and any special needs so I can keep their day feeling familiar and stress-free. I use leashes on all walks unless otherwise requested, avoid unsafe areas, and closely monitor weather and trail conditions here in Tahoe.
About: As a lover of animals, I find working with dogs to have purpose and meaning. I love witnessing the spirit and personalities of each individual dog and getting to know them and their needs. I have cared for English Springer Spaniels, German Shepherds, Huskies, Vizslas, Basset Hounds, and Mixed Breeds. Presently, I live in a quiet neighborhood adjacent to a variety of trails and a dog park. Typically I like to take dogs for long walks (2-6 miles), however I also take into consideration their personal abilities (age, size, health, energy levels etc). I do have my own border collie mix named Stevie Nicks! She is 7 years old and my running buddy! I do have a full time job but also have flexibility with my schedule. I am very easily able to meet the requests of pet owners. I care for pets in their home as I would in my own home. For house sitting, I do aim to leave your home in better condition than when I arrived. I frequently launder linens, wash dishes, sweep, vacuum and mop before leaving a care site.

About: As lifelong dog owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. We have experience volunteering at the humane society, and have spent the last few years pet sitting dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether they need long walks, playtime, or just some cuddles on the couch, our goal is to stick to your dog's normal routine and treat them like one of our own. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We work 3–4 days a week and often work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home or available throughout the day. If we do work the same day, our shifts are in the evening, so we still have the entire morning and afternoon to spend with your pet. We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel at home while in our care. We have a fenced-in backyard and live just minutes from the marsh and beach, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. We understand that every owner has their own routines and expectations, and we will always respect your instructions and your pet’s needs. At our home, dogs are welcome on the couch, are surrounded by toys, and can hang out in backyard to sunbathe and roam free. Whether your pet is staying with us or we are caring for them in their own home, our goal is to create a safe, trusting, and stress-free environment for both owner and doggo.
