I've worked for Boulder Pet Nanny, a privately owned small business for pet sitting, as well as fostering under-socialized cats through Colorado Feline Foster Rescue and even living at an animal sanctuary on the north island of New Zealand for 6 months. About: I've had pets all my life. I grew up with cats and dogs. My dog Vinny is going to be nine this year. I feel very proud that he is very well behaved and sweet. I can't imagine a life without him. I work full time at a dental office but I am available Monday-Friday to do before work walks 7am-8am and after between 530-8. Weekends are flexible. If your pet needs a friend I can bring my dog Vinny along for walks in the neighborhood and/or the meadow. Or if your pet just needs to be let out and some play time Vinny will come and play in your yard or if needed my back yard.

I'm experienced with caring for dogs with separation anxiety, dogs and cats that need medication/special treatment, as well as cats and dogs with disabilities. I can check on animals many times in the day, host pets at my house (preferred) and keep pets overnight. I live with my boyfriend, Chase who sometimes helps me with walks when I have multiple dogs. We have a small, short fenced yard for dogs to run around in. My home is dog and cat safe, where they will not be able to get into any plants, food, or objects that would be harmful. In the client's home, I follow normal protocol that owners use. I always pick up poop in the yard and if staying multiple nights at the owners home, I will take out trash, do my dishes, and clean as necessary (basically treat it like an Airbnb!)

About: I've cared for my family dog for the last 2 years. He's a husky mix, so I am aware of the needs of active breeds and I am dedicated to meeting these needs. I also cared for my boss's dog while he was away for 2 months. I stuck to their routine and gave them the best care possible. I am currently working with the California Conservation Corps based out of Meyers. I'm available mostly in the evenings and Fri-Sunday. Wildfire season is coming up so I might need to cancel or reschedule because I'll be on emergency call for these fires. I apologize in advance for any inconveniences that it may cause.
