About: My husband and I had one dog (Russell) for 12 1/2 years - and now have 2 puppies (Ash - just over 2 years old, Daisy - 1/2 years old). I love them more than anything, and have been using Rover to find dog sitters for the last ~10 years! I am finally retiring and am excited to now help others! Ash and Daisy love other dogs - and we go on lots of adventures - and go on shorter walks and have fun times at home too. I’m excited to take you dog with us, or have your dog or dogs over for stays…..I can drop by to help and do other things as well, whatever you would like to make sure that your dog or dogs are loved while you are away, working, or having fun in Tahoe! My puppies ‘run’ my day, every day! I would take care of yours the same!….walks, play time, breakfast, dinner, sleepovers. Your dog would be loved! I have a fully fenced yard…filled with grass in the summertime and snow in the winter! I have 2 puppies that love company, and are very friendly!

About: Dogs have always been part of my life. My family has trained working dogs, including avalanche and search-and-rescue dogs, which gave me a deep respect for canine behavior, safety, and communication. I’ve owned high-energy breeds like huskies and now have a playful golden retriever. Whether your dog loves long walks or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I work from home as an independent contractor, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks and check-ins throughout the day. I love being outside, enjoy longer walks, and I’m currently training for an ultramarathon—so your dog will always have a willing, energetic walking partner. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, energy level, and any special needs so I can keep their day feeling familiar and stress-free. I use leashes on all walks unless otherwise requested, avoid unsafe areas, and closely monitor weather and trail conditions here in Tahoe.

About: Hello! My name is Alora, and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve spent the past year working as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital, so I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. If your animal is every hurt or sick, I am qualified to take care, and watch over them. I’m used exercising, cleaning up after, and giving medications to animals. I’m also a dog mom to a black and white Mutt named Ray. As far as exercising your pet, it can range from short or long walks, trail walks, runs, or playing with toys, depending on what they need/like. House sitting will consist of me keeping your pet company, feeding, and all the exercise they need. If needed I can spend the night, or if you prefer I can come back in the morning. I am currently a bartender so I can be available to take your animals out during the day while you work! I love to get outside and hike, bike, and go to the beach, so if you have an adventurous dog I can cater to its needs. I have a fenced in back yard that your dog can run and play in, as well as a few Roomate’s who love dogs as well.

About: I know the guilt you feel having to leave your baby but I am here to give them love, attention, and exercise while you are out! I have grown up babysitting, house sitting, cat and dog sitting. About: I have watched dogs since I was young, both at my house and at the owners house. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time 😅 but prefer to keep it to 2-3 total. I have a dog of my own, a long hair-dachshund, that loves to play with all dogs. I make sure the dogs I watch get to play outside each day as I know how important it is for their health and happiness. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I often watch dogs at my house but can drive to check on dogs if it’s nearby. Most weekends I’m outside either hiking or playing the snow and love to take the dogs with me. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access to the upper deck. During the day I often take a morning walk and evening walk in my backyard ranging from 30 minutes to an hour depending on my work schedule that day. I have tons of dog toys and treats that keep the dogs occupied.

About: I have worked as a dog groomer for the past 9 years. I am always looking for ways to spend even more time with dogs, so I figured why not make a job out of it? I'm great with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I'm energetic and enjoy the outdoors. Whether it be playing at parks, or just going for walks. As long as there are dogs, I’m content. I'm very responsible and respectful of other peoples pets. I recently relocated from San Diego and am looking to establish a new clientele. I've loved dogs my whole life. I've had dogs since I was 5. Life is just so much better with dogs in it. I’m currently only working part time at the moment, so I will have plenty of time to keep your pets exercised and entertained. Happy dog. Happy life. A typical start to our day goes as follows. I let my dogs out first thing in the am. We have a fenced in backyard. Then we go in for breakfast. After we eat (and by we I mean they) we let our bellies settle for an hour or so. (It’s very important to give the food a chance to digest before any physical activities.) After that we usually like to take a stroll around the neighborhood and/or park.
