About: I can dog walk short and long term, house/pet sit, or drop in to hang out with your pets! Like many sitters, I have had my own pets and lots of experience as a sitter for friends, family, and clientele. I have been a tahoe dog mom myself and understand how healthy, active, or spoiled they can be. I enjoy long walks at the dog beach or running circles around the back yard whatever gets your energy out. I have great attention to detail and lots of patience so I can accommodate special needs/diets. I am an outgoing and active person but also will enjoy relaxing with your older or lazier pups. Can water plants or other misc chores for extended vacations at small extra fee. Thanks! I'm currently a student online at Lake Tahoe Community College, so I have a lot of down time when I am not studying and enjoy taking walking breaks. I follow the instructions carefully and any special rules or requests for the pets. I'm a tidy person and respect my clients homes and the safety and space of their pets.

About: My husband and I had one dog (Russell) for 12 1/2 years - and now have 2 puppies (Ash - just over 2 years old, Daisy - 1/2 years old). I love them more than anything, and have been using Rover to find dog sitters for the last ~10 years! I am finally retiring and am excited to now help others! Ash and Daisy love other dogs - and we go on lots of adventures - and go on shorter walks and have fun times at home too. I’m excited to take you dog with us, or have your dog or dogs over for stays…..I can drop by to help and do other things as well, whatever you would like to make sure that your dog or dogs are loved while you are away, working, or having fun in Tahoe! My puppies ‘run’ my day, every day! I would take care of yours the same!….walks, play time, breakfast, dinner, sleepovers. Your dog would be loved! I have a fully fenced yard…filled with grass in the summertime and snow in the winter! I have 2 puppies that love company, and are very friendly!

I use leashes on all walks unless otherwise requested, avoid unsafe areas, and closely monitor weather and trail conditions here in Tahoe.

About: Hello! My name is Alora, and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve spent the past year working as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital, so I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. If your animal is every hurt or sick, I am qualified to take care, and watch over them. I’m used exercising, cleaning up after, and giving medications to animals. I’m also a dog mom to a black and white Mutt named Ray. As far as exercising your pet, it can range from short or long walks, trail walks, runs, or playing with toys, depending on what they need/like. House sitting will consist of me keeping your pet company, feeding, and all the exercise they need. If needed I can spend the night, or if you prefer I can come back in the morning. I am currently a bartender so I can be available to take your animals out during the day while you work! I love to get outside and hike, bike, and go to the beach, so if you have an adventurous dog I can cater to its needs. I have a fenced in back yard that your dog can run and play in, as well as a few Roomate’s who love dogs as well.

About: As a lover of animals, I find working with dogs to have purpose and meaning. I love witnessing the spirit and personalities of each individual dog and getting to know them and their needs. I have cared for English Springer Spaniels, German Shepherds, Huskies, Vizslas, Basset Hounds, and Mixed Breeds. Presently, I live in a quiet neighborhood adjacent to a variety of trails and a dog park. Typically I like to take dogs for long walks (2-6 miles), however I also take into consideration their personal abilities (age, size, health, energy levels etc). I do have my own border collie mix named Stevie Nicks! She is 7 years old and my running buddy! I do have a full time job but also have flexibility with my schedule. I am very easily able to meet the requests of pet owners. I care for pets in their home as I would in my own home. For house sitting, I do aim to leave your home in better condition than when I arrived. I frequently launder linens, wash dishes, sweep, vacuum and mop before leaving a care site.

About: Growing up with animals gave me a special appreciation and gratitude for all fur babies. I’ve cared for many animals throughout my life. I even lived on an animal sanctuary for a year and half tending to rescued farm animals. At home we have a three friendly and happy cheweenies, all the more to guarantee your pup will be worn out and feel at home ◡̈ Currently I work remotely full time from home, therefore I have an open schedule. I’m an earlier riser 6:30am and hit the pillow around 9:30/10pm. I’m available and happily willing to take care of your fur babies within the comforts of their own home. About: Hi there! My name is Andi, I’m a ski patroller and avalanche rescue dog handler at Heavenly. I’m on Rover to look for part time work while getting to do something I love, be with animals. I’m a full time ski patroller in the winter and an EMT in the summer. I grew up with and helped raise an few animals in my family, volunteered at my local SPCA and have several years of experience dog sitting and walking. I can take dogs on walks, trail running or swimming, I love anything outdoors. I am a certified EMT and although I do not have education in dog healthcare specifically, I would consider my medical and rescue skills as expert. I currently have a 10 month old black lab puppy that is in training to be an avalanche rescue dog and have worked with the other dogs on our team with training, obedience and avalanche rescue skills. I typically have Tuesday-thursday off each week and am available those days anytime to help with pet care. On Friday-Monday I am available in the morning and evening to help with walks, adventures or just letting your pet out and giving them some pets. I am excellent at routines and following directions, I am happy to learn and implement whatever routine works best for your pets. I love to trail run and hike and can take your pets with me or just hangout at the park or home if that’s what they prefer. I’m also very clean, organized and respectful of your home and space and can help keep it clean/ house sit as well!
