I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where pets feel at ease. From supervised playtime to cozy rest areas, every detail is designed to ensure their well being. About: I have owned a dog years ago. Miss having them around. I am only a dog aunt now. I am very active and love walks, runs, playing on the beach. I am working half days. I work 8-12 M-F. I usually ride bikes, walks, or hike after work. Pretty active lifestyle. Available on weekends full time. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time and enrichment

During house sittings and drop-ins, I respect your home as if it were my own—keeping things clean, secure, and locked up. When we are out on walks, your dog will always be kept on a secure, standard leash, and I maintain a strict 'no greeting' policy with unfamiliar dogs to prevent any unpredictable interactions. I am deeply observant of body language to ensure your pet is happy, comfortable, and never stressed. I also believe that communication builds trust, so you can always expect timely photo updates and detailed Rover cards after every visit!

I work from home as an independent contractor, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks and check-ins throughout the day. I love being outside, enjoy longer walks, and I’m currently training for an ultramarathon—so your dog will always have a willing, energetic walking partner. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, energy level, and any special needs so I can keep their day feeling familiar and stress-free. I use leashes on all walks unless otherwise requested, avoid unsafe areas, and closely monitor weather and trail conditions here in Tahoe.

About: I am a veterinary nurse with 4 years of experience and worked in vet med for 10+ years. I am skilled in giving medications, CPR, animal behavior and basic animal care. I am currently working full time so drops ins/walks would be the best for my schedule. I will never rush a drop in and provide excellent care. I treat every pet like my own. I am very serious about quality animal care and it is important to me that you feel safe leaving your most precious part of your family in my hands.

I have worked at a doggie daycare & kennel since I was 14, I also volunteer with a pitbull resuce. I am available for walks, daytime visits with your pet and even overnight visits. About: Hello! My name is Alora, and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve spent the past year working as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital, so I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. If your animal is every hurt or sick, I am qualified to take care, and watch over them. I’m used exercising, cleaning up after, and giving medications to animals. I’m also a dog mom to a black and white Mutt named Ray. As far as exercising your pet, it can range from short or long walks, trail walks, runs, or playing with toys, depending on what they need/like. House sitting will consist of me keeping your pet company, feeding, and all the exercise they need. If needed I can spend the night, or if you prefer I can come back in the morning. I am currently a bartender so I can be available to take your animals out during the day while you work! I love to get outside and hike, bike, and go to the beach, so if you have an adventurous dog I can cater to its needs. I have a fenced in back yard that your dog can run and play in, as well as a few Roomate’s who love dogs as well.

About: I currently have 4 babies of my own, but used to volunteer with rescues as a foster and had seven babies staying with me at one point. Animals are my whole life and dogs specifically hold a special place in my heart. Fully available! I have my own car and am looking to make dog walking my full time job so can be there when you need me. Always safety first. Make sure leashes are secure, gates and doors are closed and pups are all accounted for. Also always check to make sure floors are clean so dogs are not eating random things from the floor.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I got my own 10 years ago. I have experience dogsitting for many families and have experience taking care of my own dogs as well. I have experience bathing dogs, feeding, walking, and playing! I am reliable, good at following a routine, and want to make you feel as comfortable as possible to leave your precious pet in my care. I have cared for English Springer Spaniels, German Shepherds, Huskies, Vizslas, Basset Hounds, and Mixed Breeds. Presently, I live in a quiet neighborhood adjacent to a variety of trails and a dog park. Typically I like to take dogs for long walks (2-6 miles), however I also take into consideration their personal abilities (age, size, health, energy levels etc). I do have my own border collie mix named Stevie Nicks! She is 7 years old and my running buddy! I do have a full time job but also have flexibility with my schedule. I am very easily able to meet the requests of pet owners. I care for pets in their home as I would in my own home. For house sitting, I do aim to leave your home in better condition than when I arrived. I frequently launder linens, wash dishes, sweep, vacuum and mop before leaving a care site.
