“Emily provides a safe and comfortable environment for our pup plus a nice backyard to play in. We can always tell how well our pup is cared for when we make a return visit and he runs to the front door wagging his tail. Great communication and sharing of updates, definitely will use her again when we visit South Tahoe.”

“I booked a daycare for Toffee when I went for dinner! She had a blast playing in the yard with the sitter’s other dog. She came home happy and tired, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The sitter was friendly and communicative, and I felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care. Would definitely book again!”

About: I've owned Australian Cattle Dogs (red/blue heelers) my entire life. My beloved most recent 12 year old Red Heeler named Austin passed away last summer. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. If your dog cannot be left alone for a few hours at a time you'll need to look elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access. I would prefer to care for dogs in my home but open to house sitting also.
“My dog loved Melissa (and Obi) so much she did not want to go home! Melissa was communicative, easy to coordinate with, and very professional. Perfect spot for my dog to have a fun day while I was out adventuring in South Lake.”

“Tim T. is amazing! He got us out of a real bind. We were away from home for a wedding. We found out the day before the wedding that we could not leave our dogs in our hotel room. By some miracle, Tim happened to be available with less than a day notice. He picked up our dogs at the hotel. Usually one of our dogs takes a while to warm up to new people. We were nervous but Tim is some sort of dog whisperer! In no time at all, the dogs were in his car and off for a day of fun. They spent the day taking a drive, then a hike, and then relaxing in the lap of luxury at Tim's house. We got photos throughout the day and it was obvious that Tim was the dogs' new favorite person. We were able to enjoy the wedding stress free. Tim returned the dogs to us late at night. It couldn't have been easier. Our only regret is that we live too far away to make Tim our regular sitter. If he's available, don't hesitate! We'd give Tim more stars if we could!”

“Wow! What a great experience we had with Adam and Lauren. It was way above and beyond our expectations. We couldn’t say enough about their generosity and service. When we told Adam that we are having our anniversary, he made himself more available and making our trip more memorable. We highly recommend their service. We really like the way how Adam meets up first with our dog, and his knowledge about dog behavior and needs. The walks he takes our dog on were breathtaking views. You can see that they really love animals. So now, we have found our dog sitter for our dog, Rocky. So if you’re heading to South Lake Tahoe, and you need a dog sitter, we highly recommend Adam and Lauren.”

“Lauren was a life saver with a last-minute booking. She responded quickly and was very communicative throughout the booking. Not only was she extremely friendly and professional, but she also went above and beyond with treats and walks to the beach. She was very thorough with our instructions in the app and asked a number of questions to ensure he would have the best time. When we came to pick him up, he didn't want to leave! I highly recommend Lauren and only wish we had found her sooner.”

“Lisa was the sweetest and Max loved her! She has an incredible HUGE fenced yard and Max was so happy that he didn’t want to leave! Lisa and Jason made Max feel so comfortable and ultimately me so comfortable leaving Max for the day. I will definitely have them watch him again when I’m in town in the future. 5 ++ stars for sure!”

“Patty & Randy were perfect dog sitters for Beckham. They couldn't have been more welcoming. Beckham is usually a little shy, but he adapted quickly to their beautiful environment and their other three small dogs. We look forward to using their services again. It was a comfort to know he was in loving hands.”
“Very sweet, really cared about our dogs! It was our first time leaving our babies with anyone and we couldn’t have found better people to watch them. Will definitely be back”

About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was 5 years old, so I have about 17 years of personal experience with dogs, cats, birds, lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc. Despite the experience being personal, I am professional, calm, and work extremely well with animals. It is important to me to be their voice when they aren't listened to, and to provide help in any way I can, as I know that life can be very busy, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't make time to take care of those that take care of us. Animals always love unconditionally and provide unwavering support in all ways, so I'm here to give that to them, and to take some of the stress off your shoulders when you have to give your time elsewhere. Services: Daily Walks Food, water, and treats as directed by pet parent Playtime :) fetch, frisbee, catch/chase- anything they like to do! House Sitting and Drop-in visits Give medication or maintenance care if needed. Light Grooming like coat brushing and baths. Take to Vet appointments, Dog Park, or other errands related to your pets. We go on daily walks, and hikes on the trails several times during the week. There's space in the backyard to play, run around, and go potty when needed. I will actively keep you updated during the entire stay, and send lots of pictures. I will stick to the routine you have for your pet, and make sure they feel as comfortable as possible. I treat every animal with respect and as if they are my own- with lots of patience, understanding, love, kindness, and empathy. I do my best to understand their temperament so I can cater to their specific needs in order for us to gradually build trust at their own pace.
