About: I provide highly capable, active care for mountain dogs. My shepherd maremma mix, Lumi, and I hit the trails daily - a flexible schedule finishing up my Master's degree means I have plenty of time for dedicated supervision. We have a fully fenced yard and are a quick walk to the forest. For your absolute peace of mind, I hold an active Wilderness EMT certification and my daily trail kit includes a canine-specific tourniquet. Very flexible as I wrap up grad school. We long walk early in the morning to beat the crowds, ensuring the doogo(s) gets open space for off-leash exercise when the environment is safest from distraction. Lumi is a solid regulator and grew up teasing coyotes on an unfenced 15acres. I carry a rescue sling. We'll keep a good watch.

In my home, I live in a single-story house with a fully fenced yard that allows for safe outdoor time and easy supervision. The space has previously been home to multiple dogs, so it’s well-suited and comfortable for them. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your dog’s established routine to reduce stress and maintain consistency. My approach is patient, attentive, and built on trust—treating every dog as if they were my own.

“I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

About: Hey there! I have lived my entire 30 years with dogs. From growing up with two golden retrievers to getting my own dog louie at 17- and seeing him through his senior years all the way up until his passing this past February. We still have his sweet loving sister Nala who is 5, a tender gentle girl who lives for fetch! She may be timid at first meet but is just a submissive gentle girl who eventually opens up for fun loving play if the other dog will have her :) I have dog and cat sat for family and friends since I can remember. I absolutely love animals and take care of them with immense responsibility and care as I know from my own experience they are often some of the most important beings in our life. I have a large yard with plenty of room to play and relax, and dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable inside (including cuddling up on the couch). I have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. My family includes a larger Labradoodle and a small Chihuahua/Terrier mix, both older, so I am also very comfortable with senior dogs and their needs. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, loved, and completely at home while they’re here. Pet care is already part of my everyday routine since I have dogs of my own. I work from home often and have plenty of flexibility for playtime, potty breaks, attention, and lots of cuddles. Your dog will be included in my normal family routine and get plenty of time both inside outside in my large yard. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs to play and explore safely. Inside, dogs are treated like family and are welcome to relax, including on the couch. I have both a larger Labradoodle and a small Chihuahua/Terrier mix, so I am very comfortable with different sizes and personalities. Our dogs are older and my home is relaxed, loving, and dog-friendly.
