“I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. About: My family has had cats as pets from before I was born. I have 2 cats myself. One is named Kk and the other is named Tommy, whom is special needs. He had a thrombosis that caused one of his legs to lose circulation. The vets answer for me was I needed to put him down. I cried for a whole weekend and then started wondering if there were other options. Using my psychic abilities I came up with amputation. When I asked if they could amputate his leg they immediately said yes! And now I have a 3 legged cat. I love him so much and have gone to the ends of the earth for all my pets. Kk is my fat princess. She is beautiful and so soft. She is my daughters emotional support animal but she has gone away to college so I got to keep her. She loves me so much, she stares into my soul and purs and drools on an everyday basis lol.

My dog had puppies a few times growing up and I was responsible for caring for the mom and all the babies until they were old enough to leave. “Stephanie and her partner were such amazing pet sitters for Honey, a 6 month old puppy. Her own pups welcomed her into their crew and the fun started right away. I got a text with pictures a few minutes after I left their house the first day, and saw pictures of Honey having fun. I received many wonderful pics both days we booked, and they were so so accommodating with last minute requests . Stephanie is quick with text responses. Honey came home so tired and based on the pics, had a ton of fun. I know she was well cared for because she walked right in the second day. I have my own business so I am able to leave and walk a dog whenever I need to! When doing doggy day care or boarding I will often bring the pup with me to the gallery so it can hang out. About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years. I will spend all of my time with your dog, hiking, swimming, playing in the snow and cuddling. I am interested in boarding your dog while you enjoy Lake Tahoe. I live near the lake so there will be a daily visits walking along the shores. I will provide a safe and clean environment for your dog. When we hike, swim, play in the snow, they will be on a leash. I will always be very careful with your dog.

“I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.
