About: I grew up in a family with dogs and since I was a child I had a great love and compassion for all living creatures. My friend and I were bringing home wounded birds and little creatures to rescue them and any lost, stray dogs wondering on the streets. Upon moving to Tahoe area in CA whenever my friends needed help to take care of their two cats while they were traveling, I was more than happy to do so. I myself am a dog and a cat parent. Both my pets are rescued, and I believe it’s mutual because animals are simply best companions for me, my two teen kids and we all share passion for outdoors. As a Tahoe local for almost two decades and always being a dog owner, I know lots of dog friendly places and safe trails to take them for an adventure and exercise. My own dog Rambo has a very friendly personality, gets along with other dogs very well and is always happy to have a companion to play, walk, run or wrestle with. I will be more than happy to take care of your beloved pet and can assure you your pet will receive the care, attention and love he or she deserves, just like all living creatures do! I'm self-employed and always arrange my schedule to fit my own pets needs and can accommodate other pets needs. Most days I'm flexible to take a break mid day for a walk with my dog. Mornings and late afternoons is our time for a longer time outside. Weekends are for long adventures (hiking, running, xc skiing etc) We live in a quiet neighborhood with an easy access to the trails and a green belt area right out the door. We have a fenced backyard where the dogs can safely play. Since I’m a longtime (since 2007) resident of Tahoe area and a dog owner for all these years I know well the trails and areas that are dog friendly and safe to take them for a walk and/or playtime.

About: I have lots of dog experience, I’m a runner as well if you want your dog real tired. I also grew up with a Great Pyrenees and a shitzu so size does not matter to me. I’ve trained all my dogs growing up and have lots of animal care experience Mornings and evenings I do work a 9-5, but on weekends I am more flexible. I usually run in the evening as well if you’re looking for a harder workout I try to burn as many calories, give as much attention and love, then challenge their brains as well so they’re not bored. Sniff walks are big!

“Corrina stayed at our house and took care of our 14 year old Australian Shepherd for 6 days and everything went great! She was extremely conscientious about the needs of our older dog, followed the care needs, took her for many walks, and communicated regularly. Also, the house was left perfectly and she even did some needed shoveling while she was here! I feel very lucky to have found her to care for our dog. It is not easy to leave a senior dog, but she was well loved and I am thankful for that!!”

About: I’m a former veterinary technician, animal rescue and foster care provider. I’m self-employed with a flexible schedule and enjoy taking walks with dogs, and would like to meet some cool dogs this way to enjoy walks with in the Jack London area of Oakland. I’m also interested in pet sitting in homes with high speed internet in lovely locations. I am self-employed with a flexible schedule and fully remote work, so as long as there is a high speed internet connection, I can work from your home and pace my work around pet care needs. About: I started house sitting in high school and am highly adaptable to each animal and owner needs. I grew up with a dog, used to live with two beautiful german shepherds for 3 years, and have two adventure cats, Swoop and Riley, that live with me on the road in my camper van. I love animals. I’ve raised chickens and ducks, have plenty of experience with pet injuries and medication, walking large strong dogs, and take my cats out to explore the world. I am a huge hiker so if you would love for me to burn some energy out of your fur baby, I’m your girl but I’m also here for all the pet cuddles. I’m currently working Sunday-Wednesday in Incline but am available early mornings and evenings on those days with a lunch break. I have open availability all other parts of the Tahoe and Truckee, Carson City between Wednesday night and Sunday morning. I live in a van in Tahoe for the season so I have great flexibility. I have plenty of experience house sitting and can provide references as well. I always treat other people’s homes with respect and care. About: With nearly a lifetime of experience raising and training dogs, primarily hunting/sport breeds, I have been exposed to various handling styles and training techniques that have lead me to focusing on Free-Shaping my personal pack of dogs for the past 13 years. Because I have 3 dogs of my own (teenager,adult,senior) I have a pretty regular routine everyday of various activities with them individually and as a pack. Thursday through Sunday the flexibility of my open availability allows me to take on additional dogs on a part-time basis. Working with dogs will hopefully keep me from growing my pack anymore...fur now😉. My pups have individual crates, and beds to relax in the house. Big back yard, unfortunately unfenced, but there is a tether run and tie outs to use as needed. Dogs are never in the yard unsupervised. I transport them in a Chevy Suburban to other fun places around the Tahoe/Truckee area. Everyday is filled with multiple adventures, meal times in the early AM and late evening after a long walk. Individual needs or "rules" for your fur baby are completely respected, "it's your pup, it's your call".

About: I have 10+ years experience of pet care experience. I've fostered 15+ dogs and puppies and now have a 3yo lab mix of my own who is well-trained, spayed, and very social. About: Hi there! My name is Andi, I’m a ski patroller and avalanche rescue dog handler at Heavenly. I’m on Rover to look for part time work while getting to do something I love, be with animals. I’m a full time ski patroller in the winter and an EMT in the summer. I grew up with and helped raise an few animals in my family, volunteered at my local SPCA and have several years of experience dog sitting and walking. I can take dogs on walks, trail running or swimming, I love anything outdoors. I am a certified EMT and although I do not have education in dog healthcare specifically, I would consider my medical and rescue skills as expert. I currently have a 10 month old black lab puppy that is in training to be an avalanche rescue dog and have worked with the other dogs on our team with training, obedience and avalanche rescue skills. I typically have Tuesday-thursday off each week and am available those days anytime to help with pet care. On Friday-Monday I am available in the morning and evening to help with walks, adventures or just letting your pet out and giving them some pets. I am excellent at routines and following directions, I am happy to learn and implement whatever routine works best for your pets. I love to trail run and hike and can take your pets with me or just hangout at the park or home if that’s what they prefer. I’m also very clean, organized and respectful of your home and space and can help keep it clean/ house sit as well!

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

About: I have experience working at a doggy day-care. I was responsible for watching and entertaining up to 25 dogs at a time of all ages and sizes! I am currently working 4 days a week Tues-Fri. I have a long weekend every week to give your pup the love and attention they deserve! I hope to find some canine friends to hike with me on the weekends. About: Growing up with animals gave me a special appreciation and gratitude for all fur babies. I’ve cared for many animals throughout my life. I even lived on an animal sanctuary for a year and half tending to rescued farm animals. At home we have a three friendly and happy cheweenies, all the more to guarantee your pup will be worn out and feel at home ◡̈ I currently work remotely full time from home, therefore I have an open schedule. I’m an earlier riser 6:30am and hit the pillow around 9:30/10pm. I’m available and happily willing to take care of your fur babies within the comforts of their own home.
