About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals.
