About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your pups while you’re out of town. Enzo and I can come to your place, or your dog can stay with us at ours. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! I am often off work for a week at a time. My schedule is variable because I work in health care. When I am not at the hospital working, I can dedicate the whole day to hanging with the pups Dogs will stay in the house with frequent potty breaks. We have a morning and evening walk each day at the very least - most days I try to spend the majority of the day outside with hikes and lake days

I'm available for morning walks, midday visits, evening care—and I’m also happy to help on weekends or with overnight stays. Spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so I’m excited to make it a regular part of my routine. I treat every pet’s safety and comfort as a top priority. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all care instructions closely—from feeding schedules to leash routines. I live in the mountains, so dogs in my care have access to peaceful trails and plenty of space to explore safely. Whether at your home or mine, I create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels secure, happy, and well cared for.

About: We are 2 sisters who have always had big dogs around (although no dogs at home currently), and we love taking walks around one of the many beautiful parks in the area. We have one cat of our own, and have experience administering medications, including pills, creams, insulin injections, and blood sugar tests. We have a large car with room for dogs in the back. Please let us know upon booking if you'd like us to walk you dog(s) around your neighborhood, our neighborhood (if nearby) or if you'd like us to take them to a dog park. We are trust-worthy people who follow directions well, so whatever you say is safe for your pets, will be our guideline. We always keep an eye out for any danger! We work from home, so we always have time for walks and pets. We have flexible schedules in general and are glad to work with you to find them best time. We always want to best for any animal and to make sure they are comfortable and happy. Feel free to give us any special instructions or guidelines that will make you dog's walk the best it can be!

About: I have spent my whole life living with and caring for animals of all kinds, ranging from self sufficient cats who sleep all day, to high energy dogs who require multi-mile walks and constant engagement. I can comfortably administer medications and assist pets with special needs. I will follow their routine closely, and if I'm staying in your home I can assure you it will be treated mindfully. Growing up I frequently watched my neighbor's pets and built great relationships with each animal. I got to know so many personality types and adapted to their lifestyles. I don't have any pets currently, and would love the opportunity to spend time with ones who need care. My ultimate goal is to make them feel like their family never left. I will be working part time this fall and am currently volunteering at the Humane Society of Tahoe-Truckee, so I will have lots of time to keep your furry friends company. Depending on your pets energy we can keep active or spend the day cuddling on the couch. No matter, their days will be filled with love and enrichment. I just ask that you provide each pets vet information and emergency contacts. I have a pet-specific checklist we will go over, ie diet, behavior, daily routine, etc. to ensure they will have a fun yet safe and clean environment while you're away. Dogs will stay on leash when out of the house (unless we go for a swim!). I can check in as frequently as you prefer and can confirm many photos will be taken.

About: I am new to Rover but have dedicated my life to the wellness of animals over the last 20+ years. I love caring for animals and can provide exercise for an active lifestyle or TLC for a calming presence. I am comfortable giving medications, and I can maintain your training specifications. I make my own work schedule and can generally accommodate your pet’s timing needs with a few days notice. I am available most week days and weekends. I have an active dog and senior cat, that also remains active. My free time is spent spoiling them. I have also fostered for the humane society at times.

About: I’ve had experience taken care of many animals ever since I was born. I have always had three dogs living in my house, no matter the year. I’ve had many pets and taken care of many animals from bearded dragons, bunnies, dogs all the way to chickens! Being around animals is my happy place and I would love to care for yours!! I work seasonally for Tahoe Donner and I am off work every day at 3 PM. Anytime after 3 PM I am available all night long! Pet care fits well into my routine because I’m very flexible and have my own vehicle meaning I can care for any animal outside of my work hours! I am also free on weekends every single week! I love to make sure they are well fed, and well entertained! I own one dog myself and care for two others at my home in Arizona and I’m constantly playing with them and making sure that they are happy! Personally, my dogs are allowed on my furniture, and I love to snuggle with them! (this varies for some people but that is just my personal preference)

About: Hi! I grew up on a working family homestead in Oregon, where caring for animals was a natural part of daily life. My mother also ran a pet grooming Business for over 10 years, where I learned how to handle pets that’s aren’t my own. I also worked for a year at petsmart as a groomer/bather myself. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of looking after everything from livestock to house pets—but dogs and cats have always held a special place in my heart. I’ve personally cared for several beloved cats and dogs throughout my life, and I currently share my home with two wonderful cats. I’m especially experienced with Bengal cats, thanks to years of house- and cat-sitting for my sister, who breeds them. At times, I’ve cared for more than 12 cats at once, including administering medications—even to squirmy kittens! It’s not always glamorous, but I’m calm, patient, and confident when it comes to animal care. I’m deeply attuned to animals’ needs and take pride in being gentle, observant, and responsive. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll do my best to make them feel safe and happy while you're away. I am tidy and will clean up any spills or messes made by me or your buddy.
