“Brenna is super reliable and responsive! She took great care of our cat when we were away on a two week trip. When it looked like our cat wasn’t feeling too well after one of the visits, she was really flexible and willing to help when we asked to add an extra drop-in visit to check on her and make sure she was doing ok. I would definitely recommend Brenna!”

About: With nearly a lifetime of experience raising and training dogs, primarily hunting/sport breeds, I have been exposed to various handling styles and training techniques that have lead me to focusing on Free-Shaping my personal pack of dogs for the past 13 years. Because I have 3 dogs of my own (teenager, adult, senior) I have a pretty regular routine everyday of various activities with them individually and as a pack. Thursday through Sunday the flexibility of my open availability allows me to take on additional dogs on a part-time basis. Working with dogs will hopefully keep me from growing my pack anymore...fur now😉. My pups have individual crates, and beds to relax in the house. Big back yard, unfortunately unfenced, but there is a tether run and tie outs to use as needed. Dogs are never in the yard unsupervised. I transport them in a Chevy Suburban to other fun places around the Tahoe/Truckee area. Everyday is filled with multiple adventures, meal times in the early AM and late evening after a long walk. Individual needs or "rules" for your fur baby are completely respected, "it's your pup, it's your call".

15. Jenny P.
“Jenny is a wonderful doggie caretaker! On many occasions I have trusted her to care for my 2 year old dachshund, Frankie. She provides the best care, making sure he is fed, walked, and cleaned up after. Not to mention the love, snuggles, and playtime fun she gives!”
16. Hailey P.
“I totally recommend Hailey as a dog sitter/walker, etc. She takes dog sitting seriously and will make friends with all the dogs in the neighborhood. She took care of our dog many, many times. She would run and hike with him, walk him, and just hang out with him. Even when he slowed down due to cancer, she would just lay on the lawn with him - spending quality time. Hailey is responsible and super enthusiastic. You would be lucky to have someone like her who will just love your fur baby.”
17. Gracie W.
“Gracie dropped in and took great care of our dog, Fynn, while we went skiing. We really appreciated all of her updates, photos, and open communication! Gracie was awesome, so friendly, and gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our time on the mountain. We would highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets (dogs, cats, & horses) and have always enjoyed having a pet around. Looking to help others who might need a check in or extra walk with their pet during the day or while they’re out on the hill making some turns. I work from home & own a business in town. Always out and about and happy to make an extra stop to check in on a furry friend along the way. I was raised with walking my dog on a leash, and I still believe that is the safest method for a dog when outside walking around the neighborhood or on bike paths. When working with new dogs (or cats) if the area is not fenced in, a leash or harness will be requested so the pets safety is ensured. After creating a relationship with the pet, off leash walks are doable on trails.
19. Travis F.
“Travis is trustworthy and cares about the animals he looks after. I’ve used him personally, for my 80lb Newfoundland mix, and also referred him to friends in need of dog sitting. All have repeated business with him. In the past, he also house sat while looking after pets. The house looked as good, if not better, then I left it.”
20. Tish Y.
“Tish was wonderful with my kitty Mya! This was her first cat sit as she usually only watches dogs, but she was great and Mya is very happy to have a new friend. She was so happy with Tish, I even received plenty of photos from the visits which Mya does not let me take! Highly recommend Tish as a sitter for all pets : )”
