About: I've been surrounded by dogs my entire life, developing a deep love and understanding of our four-legged friends. I had the privilege of caring for my two senior dogs until the remarkable ages of 17 and 15, ensuring they received the love and care they needed throughout their lives. My passion for dogs led me to volunteer with several dog rescues, where I've gained invaluable experience in caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Currently, I foster puppies for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, dedicating my time to providing them with a nurturing environment until they find their forever homes. My lifelong dedication to dogs ensures that your furry family members will be in the best hands. My schedule is extremely flexible and open, as I don't work outside the home. Aside from taking care of my family and getting my kids to their activities, I am fully available to discuss and accommodate your pet care needs. I'm happy to work with you to create a schedule that suits both you and your furry family members, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve. My pet care services are tailored to each dog's unique needs, whether I'm caring for them in my home or yours. I recognize that every dog is different, so I adjust my approach to ensure they feel comfortable, happy, and stress-free. When I care for your pet in your home, I maintain their routine and environment, allowing them to feel secure without the disruption of another dog. My family lovingly cares for our own furry family member, Chloe, which means I do not bring her with me when I pet sit in your home. This allows your dog to relax in their own space without the stress of another dog's presence. I'm passionate about being active and enjoying the outdoors in all types of weather, whether it's for long, fast-paced walks or short, leisurely strolls. I cater to your dog's activity level, ensuring they get the exercise and attention they need. If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs and would benefit from companionship, I'm happy to bring Chloe along for walks. My goal is to provide personalized care that fits your dog's specific needs, making sure they are happy, healthy, and well-cared for.
2. Amber W.
“She did a great job, especially with my 2 senior dogs. The communication was great. I would recommend Amber!”
3. Tracy S.
“Tracy is a caring, thoughtful, and reliable dog sitter. She has watched our 3 year old Golden Retriever on a few occasions and I know she is being well cared for. Tracy catered to the level of activity that Penny is used to and also gave her plenty of love and attention. I am so grateful for Tracy and her love for dogs.”
4. Glenn W.
“Glenn has consistently provided loving and responsible care for my 5 cats. (Oscar, Sophie, Sarah, Callie and Millie.) His conscientious attention to the cleanliness of their litter boxes, as well as to their need for individual attention, has made him a favorite of theirs and of ours ! In addition to performing his essential duties with competence, He genuinely loves spending time with our Fur babies. We would recommend him highly !”
5. Anthony S.
“Anthony took great care of our pup during a short notice visit! He communicated quickly, handled our leash puller very well, sent great updates and overall it was just great to know our dog was in great hands when we were gone all day. Would book with Anthony again!”
6. Corliss L.
“Excellent service. Courteous and professional. Highly recommend!”
7. Gaelen M.
“Thanks!”
8. Shea H.
“Shea has a heart to care for animals, and will treat your pet like you would want them treated. I would trust Shea to open up my house and care for my pets while I am away. If you are walking your dog and someone stops to compliment your dog then gives your fur baby a good belly rub before wishing you well, that was probably Shea.”
9. Aubrey S.
“Aubrey was wonderful, and Bruce thought so too! Thanks!!”
10. Abby C.
“Abby was easy to work with and took care of our old pup when we needed help last minute. Would recommend!”
11. Danielle D.
“Thanks Danielle :))”
12. Taylor E.
“Taylor is my Go-To! She is extremely compassionate, dependable, honest, and a conscientious pet owner. She cares for other peoples pets as she would her own. She truly cares about animals and their needs. I would not hesitate to recommend her as a pet sitter.”
13. Allison Y.
About: I’ve grown up with pets (dogs, cats, & horses) and have always enjoyed having a pet around. Looking to help others who might need a check in or extra walk with their pet during the day or while they’re out on the hill making some turns. I work from home & own a business in town. Always out and about and happy to make an extra stop to check in on a furry friend along the way. I was raised with walking my dog on a leash, and I still believe that is the safest method for a dog when outside walking around the neighborhood or on bike paths. When working with new dogs (or cats) if the area is not fenced in, a leash or harness will be requested so the pets safety is ensured. After creating a relationship with the pet, off leash walks are doable on trails.
14. Giselle M.
“Gisselle is amazing with pets! She treats them like family and takes such good care of them. Whenever we're away, we know they're in great hands with her. We have peace of mind knowing that Gisselle is there, showering our pets with attention, affection, and all the care they need. Our pets love her, and so do we. She's like their second mom!”
15. Kerri K.
“Kerri was great with our pup! Our dog experiences separation anxiety but she made him feel comfortable and at ease. We received lots of photo updates throughout the day. Would work with Kerri again!”
16. Colleen C.
About: Hello! I am Colleen and have taken care of dogs my whole life. I currently have a 10 month old puppy who is the sweetest, chillest pup in the world and LOVES other dogs. I also didn’t go out for the first few months since I felt too guilty to leave him overnight + I couldn’t find someone who stayed up late enough for me to just go to dinner or a concert and pick him up after. I’m currently between jobs, so felt like I could help address that gap! I’m happy to watch your pup for a few hours or for a few days and promise to send a ton of pics of them! If you have a pup, Vino is great for socialization efforts as he’s super playful but will also be submissive and lay on his back if there are shyer dogs. He’s also great at showing his friends there’s nothing to worry about. (Ie- my parents couldn’t take their dog to restaurants bc he was so out of sorts. Vino showed him how to just relax and get those belly rubs in ~1 hr). So, let me know if there’s anything he add to the experience! I have a very large roofdeck that dogs love running around and also plenty of time to walk them and take them on adventures. I stay up late and get up early, so pick up and drop off is at your convenience! We usually start the day with a long walk and then head up to the roof for coffee and bird watching. I’ve had blind senior dogs who needed injections and puppies who needed love every 5 minutes and am happy to cater to your individual dogs needs!
17. Gracie W.
“Gracie dropped in and took great care of our dog, Fynn, while we went skiing. We really appreciated all of her updates, photos, and open communication! Gracie was awesome, so friendly, and gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our time on the mountain. We would highly recommend!”
18. Tish Y.
“Tish was wonderful with my kitty Mya! This was her first cat sit as she usually only watches dogs, but she was great and Mya is very happy to have a new friend. She was so happy with Tish, I even received plenty of photos from the visits which Mya does not let me take! Highly recommend Tish as a sitter for all pets : )”
19. Peach W.
About: Hi, My name is Peach and I have an 8 year old border collie. We love spending time on the open trails, the park, or playing at home. We are open to all types of animals, Brewer used to live on a ranch so he is accustomed to many different types. We are always looking for a play buddy. Currently we live in Tahoe City. I am taking classes to prepare for nursing school, so I have a flexible schedule! Making sure Brewer, or whichever animal I am caring for, has enough care and attention is extremely important to me. I make sure there are several different activities throughout the day for animals to stay happy and engaged. I am able to keep my dog at home, while I am also happy to come watch your pet in your home or take her out for walks/playtime.
20. Travis F.
“Hi , Travis is very versatile, because he sat our 2 Siberian Forrest cats. We were gone 3 weeks. Upon returning Yasha & Yanni looked beautiful, well brushed, loving as ever. These are special darlin's, as all of our animals are. So to come home find happy kitties, a clean house and all in order gives a 5 star rating to Travis”
