About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

About: I'm Rachel, a writer with a flexible schedule and a love of all things canine. I live with my husband, and my chocolate Labrador retriever, Ellie, in our West Shore cabin near Homewood. I signed up for Rover because dog sitting helps me get my fix for having a doggy harem. I would love to shower your dog with attention and affection. I volunteer at the local humane society, so I'm very adept at adapting to your dog's needs. I particularly love active dogs, and I'm happy to take your pup on hikes and swims in the lake. I'm also happy to hang out and have a more relaxing day with older, less active pups. Ellie (13) is very well-socialized, and she gets along well with dogs of all sizes. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m always happy to go out for a walk or a hike. Ellie, my 13-year-old Lab, is always up for meeting a new dog friend. Daycare Rates & Information: Daycare is up to 8 hours of care. Anything longer than that time, please book a boarding stay. Drop-offs anytime after 8 a.m. Pickups before 8 p.m. Although there is a nice buffer of woods near my house, the yard is not fenced (hopefully soon). I’ll be sure to keep your pup on a leash just in case! There’s an enclosed deck for sunbathing and watching chipmunks.

I can take your fur babies to the beach, dog park, regular park, hiking, or just Netflix and take naps. Im very punctual so meals will be given on time, peepee poopoo walks at least every 2-4hrs, if theres med will be given on time, Lots of vid/photos will be sent if requested. This is my full time for now so taking care of fur babies all say 24/7 Your fur babies will not be alone for a second My place has an unfenced yard and im right next to the lake 30 sec walk to the beach. About: Hey there! I have lived my entire 30 years with dogs. From growing up with two golden retrievers to getting my own dog louie at 17- and seeing him through his senior years all the way up until his passing this past February. We still have his sweet loving sister Nala who is 5, a tender gentle girl who lives for fetch! She may be timid at first meet but is just a submissive gentle girl who eventually opens up for fun loving play if the other dog will have her :) I have dog and cat sat for family and friends since I can remember. HOUSE SITTING: I will watch your dog any days booked. We will have many adventures and send lots of photos. DROP IN: I will come and check on your pupper, take them outside for potty break and maybe a quick walk. DOG WALKING: I will take your pup for a walk however long you need. Depending on where we are if your dog is ok off leash we can do an off leash walk. DOGGY DAYCARE: I will watch your pup through the day and we will likely go on a hike or to a body of water to play. They can get overstimulated in new places, and honestly, so could we. With my wife currently pregnant, we could only do so much physically, and we were feeling pretty overwhelmed and anxious trying to balance everything while still making sure the girls were happy and cared for. “I was brand new to the area with no established pet sitter and needed to travel last minute. Local kennels couldn’t accommodate me on such short notice. A Google search turned up the Rover app which in turn brought me to Gina and Erik. They had good reviews and repeat customers, so I contacted them via the app. They could accommodate me, had good prices, and asked me if I wanted to come see their home first. My cat is both a mama’s boy and a bit of a scaredy cat. I’d never boarded him before. I was worried he’d think he’d been abandoned again. (He’d been a stray after being adopted as a kitten. He was nine when I adopted him.) He was anxious at first, but in the pictures and videos that Gina and Erik sent, I could see that he was relaxing with them more each day. On the day I was to drive back home, I woke with a migraine. There was no way I could do the drive. I had to ask for an additional day with no advance notice. Fortunately Gina and Erik were able to keep my cat one day longer. Also, I forgot to mention the poopy mess that Gina helped me clean up when I first dropped him off. They provided me with above and beyond service. I wholeheartedly recommend them.”
