About: I grew up in a family with dogs and since I was a child I had a great love and compassion for all living creatures. My friend and I were bringing home wounded birds and little creatures to rescue them and any lost, stray dogs wondering on the streets. Upon moving to Tahoe area in CA whenever my friends needed help to take care of their two cats while they were traveling, I was more than happy to do so. I myself am a dog and a cat parent. Both my pets are rescued, and I believe it’s mutual because animals are simply best companions for me, my two teen kids and we all share passion for outdoors. As a Tahoe local for almost two decades and always being a dog owner, I know lots of dog friendly places and safe trails to take them for an adventure and exercise. My own dog Rambo has a very friendly personality, gets along with other dogs very well and is always happy to have a companion to play, walk, run or wrestle with. I will be more than happy to take care of your beloved pet and can assure you your pet will receive the care, attention and love he or she deserves, just like all living creatures do! I'm self-employed and always arrange my schedule to fit my own pets needs and can accommodate other pets needs. Most days I'm flexible to take a break mid day for a walk with my dog. Mornings and late afternoons is our time for a longer time outside. Weekends are for long adventures (hiking, running, xc skiing etc) We live in a quiet neighborhood with an easy access to the trails and a green belt area right out the door. We have a fenced backyard where the dogs can safely play. Since I’m a longtime (since 2007) resident of Tahoe area and a dog owner for all these years I know well the trails and areas that are dog friendly and safe to take them for a walk and/or playtime.

In my clients’ homes, I make sure to respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. I stick closely to your instructions so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I’m attentive to details like meals, medications, exercise, and companionship, and I also make sure your home is kept tidy. I’m happy to help with small additional tasks like watering plants, bringing in mail, and keeping things in order while you’re away. My goal is always to make pets feel secure and cared for, and to give owners peace of mind knowing everything is in good hands.

About: I’m a former veterinary technician, animal rescue and foster care provider. I’m self-employed with a flexible schedule and enjoy taking walks with dogs, and would like to meet some cool dogs this way to enjoy walks with in the Jack London area of Oakland. I’m also interested in pet sitting in homes with high speed internet in lovely locations. I am self-employed with a flexible schedule and fully remote work, so as long as there is a high speed internet connection, I can work from your home and pace my work around pet care needs. When I lived in Cameron Park, I cared for five dogs of my own and kept them all very active through daily walks, outdoor time, and structured routines. Since moving, I no longer have pets of my own due to limited space and financial stability, but my experience with multiple dogs has given me strong hands-on knowledge of managing different personalities and energy levels at once. This experience has helped me stay confident and attentive when caring for other people’s pets, and I treat every animal like they are my own while they are in my care.

About: I have lots of dog experience, I’m a runner as well if you want your dog real tired. I also grew up with a Great Pyrenees and a shitzu so size does not matter to me. I’ve trained all my dogs growing up and have lots of animal care experience Mornings and evenings I do work a 9-5, but on weekends I am more flexible. I usually run in the evening as well if you’re looking for a harder workout I try to burn as many calories, give as much attention and love, then challenge their brains as well so they’re not bored. Sniff walks are big!

About: I have taken care of a lot of different animals including dogs, cats, cows, horses, sheep, goats, chickens etc. I feel confident that your pets will have a nice time hanging out with me and they will be safe and well fed. I am working as a river guide a couple of days a week so I will be unavailable while on the river. Other than that, I have an open schedule. I am living in my van so I cannot host. I spend most of my time outside so I would love to care for your pets at your home. I think that place is important and would be interested to see how your animals act when they are at home.

About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.

About: I started house sitting in high school and am highly adaptable to each animal and owner needs. I grew up with a dog, used to live with two beautiful german shepherds for 3 years, and have two adventure cats, Swoop and Riley, that live with me on the road in my camper van. I love animals. I’ve raised chickens and ducks, have plenty of experience with pet injuries and medication, walking large strong dogs, and take my cats out to explore the world. I am a huge hiker so if you would love for me to burn some energy out of your fur baby, I’m your girl but I’m also here for all the pet cuddles. I’m currently working Sunday-Wednesday in Incline but am available early mornings and evenings on those days with a lunch break. I have open availability all other parts of the Tahoe and Truckee, Carson City between Wednesday night and Sunday morning. I live in a van in Tahoe for the season so I have great flexibility. I have plenty of experience house sitting and can provide references as well. I always treat other people’s homes with respect and care. I would love to talk about expectations and how I can best care for everything.

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

About: Growing up with animals gave me a special appreciation and gratitude for all fur babies. I’ve cared for many animals throughout my life. I even lived on an animal sanctuary for a year and half tending to rescued farm animals. At home we have a three friendly and happy cheweenies, all the more to guarantee your pup will be worn out and feel at home ◡̈ Currently I work remotely full time from home, therefore I have an open schedule. I’m an earlier riser 6:30am and hit the pillow around 9:30/10pm. I’m available and happily willing to take care of your fur babies within the comforts of their own home. Whether they’re just needing a few pets, feedings, plays, cuddles, beach visits or hikes I’m your guy.
