House Sitting in Alpine Meadows

About: With nearly a lifetime of experience raising and training dogs, primarily hunting/sport breeds, I have been exposed to various handling styles and training techniques that have lead me to focusing on Free-Shaping my personal pack of dogs for the past 13 years. Because I have 3 dogs of my own (teenager,adult,senior) I have a pretty regular routine everyday of various activities with them individually and as a pack. Thursday through Sunday the flexibility of my open availability allows me to take on additional dogs on a part-time basis. Working with dogs will hopefully keep me from growing my pack anymore...fur now😉. My pups have individual crates, and beds to relax in the house. Big back yard, unfortunately unfenced, but there is a tether run and tie outs to use as needed. Dogs are never in the yard unsupervised. I transport them in a Chevy Suburban to other fun places around the Tahoe/Truckee area. Everyday is filled with multiple adventures, meal times in the early AM and late evening after a long walk. Individual needs or "rules" for your fur baby are completely respected, "it's your pup, it's your call".

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities since I was young, helping neighbors, friends, and family with walking, feeding, bathing, and overnight care. I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs that need lots of exercise (I love hiking and am training for a half marathon!) as well as older pets who need a slower, more attentive approach (a good sit in the sun at ski beach or a grassy park). As someone who has grown up with dogs and horses, I know how to recognize different emotions and tell-tale signs in animals. Dogs especially have been in my household since my mom was pregnant, which means I've had many amazing furry family members over the years. From puppyhood to senior life I've lived with it all and I've seen various different needs. I feel confident I can meet the needs of your furry loved ones and provide them all the care, love, and attention they deserve in your absence. My goal is always to make their routine as normal and stress-free as possible :) I currently have a very flexible WFH schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting throughout the week, and I can often accommodate weekends and longer stays as well. Because of my flexible routine, I’m able to adjust to your pet’s needs—whether that means regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or simply keeping them company and maintaining their normal routine. I am currently studying online and working part time online, so my work can really be done from anywhere :) Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs so I can provide consistent and attentive care. In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and mindful of ensuring your space remainds exactly as you left it. I have had 10+ years of babysiting/nannying expeirence as well, so I am quite comfortable with the expectations of maintaining a home. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I’m attentive on walks, cautious in new environments, and always prioritize your pet’s well-being—whether that means sticking to familiar routines, avoiding unsafe situations, or giving them extra care and attention when needed. As someone who sees the benefits of my sister and parents receiving picture updates on their fur babies, I know just how important it is for both you and your pets to feel safe and at ease, and I will do my best to ensure you these expectations are met.

About: I’m a former veterinary technician, animal rescue and foster care provider. I’m self-employed with a flexible schedule and enjoy taking walks with dogs, and would like to meet some cool dogs this way to enjoy walks with in the Jack London area of Oakland. I’m also interested in pet sitting in homes with high speed internet in lovely locations. I am self-employed with a flexible schedule and fully remote work, so as long as there is a high speed internet connection, I can work from your home and pace my work around pet care needs. I enjoy taking daily walks or hiking, so if your dog enjoys these, we’re set! I’m experienced at administering medications, affectionate with animals who appreciate such, and am dependable. I also enjoy photography, so you’ll likely receive some sweet new photos of your pets.

About: Hello! For starters: I live with three amazing rescues dogs; Mazy, Sid and Jack. Jack is on medication for his back leg joint because he’s getting older so I do have experience with medicated doggos. Growing up I was in 4H since the age of 9 so I had great responsibilities on raising animals. I truly love watching them grow into their own personalities. Having that responsibility keeps me on task with what an animal needs in their daily life; food, water, cardio(depending on size) and lots of love! I’m currently taking online college classes so I will be available most mornings. My schedule is flexible so I can make arrangements. I’m looking for ongoing long-term schedules if possible. Please reach out to me if you’d like! I have a fenced yard for a smaller to medium dog. There is a park nearby my house, it is dog friendly and lots of grass to run in.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and often cared for neighbors' pets when they were away. I no longer have pets of my own, so I love to spend time with friends' pets and take their dogs on adventures. They always come back tired and happy! I've cared for animals with special dietary and medicinal needs, and I'm good at making friends with shy animals. I would love to meet your pet! I work Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm. Unfortunately I am unable to visit your pet in the middle of these hours, so if they can't be alone for 8-9 hours, i encourage you to look for a sitter who better fits your needs. Sorry for the inconvenience! I can't bring your pet to my home due to my roommates' 3 cats, but I am happy to make sure your pet can maintain their normal routine in your home, so they can stay fit, happy, and healthy.

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.
