Pet Sitting in Alpine Meadows

About: I've had my own dogs, cats, horses and chickens. I've been pet sitting for a few years now. I try to go on as many walks as possible and even bring them to work if the family is ok with it. I love animals of all ages! I have a full-time job but I can work from home 3 days a week. So I have plenty of free time to go out for walks or simply let them outside. I will make sure they get the attention they need. If they are outside I won't leave them out after dark on their own. Lock all doors for other furry visitors. Make sure they have a comfortable bed. Sometimes sleep together if it's ok with the parents. Have lots of toys and time for walks and play.

About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your pups while you’re out of town. Enzo and I can come to your place, or your dog can stay with us at ours. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! I am often off work for a week at a time. My schedule is variable because I work in health care. When I am not at the hospital working, I can dedicate the whole day to hanging with the pups Dogs will stay in the house with frequent potty breaks. We have a morning and evening walk each day at the very least - most days I try to spend the majority of the day outside with hikes and lake days

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and often cared for neighbors' pets when they were away. I no longer have pets of my own, so I love to spend time with friends' pets and take their dogs on adventures. They always come back tired and happy! I've cared for animals with special dietary and medicinal needs, and I'm good at making friends with shy animals. I would love to meet your pet! I work Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm. Unfortunately I am unable to visit your pet in the middle of these hours, so if they can't be alone for 8-9 hours, i encourage you to look for a sitter who better fits your needs. Sorry for the inconvenience! I can't bring your pet to my home due to my roommates' 3 cats, but I am happy to make sure your pet can maintain their normal routine in your home, so they can stay fit, happy, and healthy.

About: Hello! I am Colleen and have taken care of dogs my whole life. I currently have a 10 month old puppy who is the sweetest, chillest pup in the world and LOVES other dogs. I also didn’t go out for the first few months since I felt too guilty to leave him overnight + I couldn’t find someone who stayed up late enough for me to just go to dinner or a concert and pick him up after. I’m currently between jobs, so felt like I could help address that gap! I’m happy to watch your pup for a few hours or for a few days and promise to send a ton of pics of them! If you have a pup, Vino is great for socialization efforts as he’s super playful but will also be submissive and lay on his back if there are shyer dogs. He’s also great at showing his friends there’s nothing to worry about. (Ie- my parents couldn’t take their dog to restaurants bc he was so out of sorts. Vino showed him how to just relax and get those belly rubs in ~1 hr). So, let me know if there’s anything he add to the experience! I have a very large roofdeck that dogs love running around and also plenty of time to walk them and take them on adventures. I stay up late and get up early, so pick up and drop off is at your convenience! We usually start the day with a long walk and then head up to the roof for coffee and bird watching. I’ve had blind senior dogs who needed injections and puppies who needed love every 5 minutes and am happy to cater to your individual dogs needs!

About: Like kids, dogs require patience. They are curious and full of energy. Being very active allows me to keep up with the puppies, & tire out the dogs for a great nights sleep. For the older dogs, cuddling and medical care are also among my expertise. I’ve worked in a dog kennel, as a veterinary front of house staff, and have cared for my own dogs along the way. In place of walks or if preferred, trips in the car to the dog park are always fun. Baths can be provided for the muddy play days, and there is ample in door space for the dogs to relax in during the day. I currently work only four days a week, and go in later in day. This allows for me to take the dogs to enjoy the sunshine and daytime, leaving a pooped pup in the evening for a good nights rest. I treat clients pets as they were my own, my best friend & companion. Being sure to tend to the things that make a dog a dog!

With experience taking care of dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, mice, turtles, geckos, fish, and more, I value taking good care of all pets. My availability is flexible this Fall so please do not hesitate to reach out! I’m moving to the Lake Tahoe area for the Fall and am looking for extra work centered around animals. My schedule is flexible and I’m generally available any day, any hour. However you take care of your pet in your home is how I will take care of your pet in your home. About: I’ve had a German Shepard ever since I can remember. Growing up dogs were my best friends and I felt like I’ve always understood them. I love all kinds of animals and am currently on the pre-vet track. I’m currently not working so I will have plenty of time to put in the time and care needed to make sure your pets are safe and happy. I can do whatever is asked of me at a clients house. I’m great at following directions and comfortable with all sizes and kinds of animals.

About: I raised my golden retriever from a puppy and took care of him until his senior days. I love taking pets on outdoor adventures, hikes, swimming. I am very attentive and caring. I am currently working part time, and am available every day of the week to watch your pet. Overnight or day sitting, I am happy to do it! I am a renter, so pets are not allowed in my home. I am craving some pet loving! I would love to take your pet out or come to your home.

About: I am a transplant to California from the Mid-West and am working in Tahoe seasonally as a ski instructor at Alpine Meadows. I grew up with primarily cats, but I've spent over a year living with dogs, as well. I've cat, dog, and house-sat to rave reviews since I was a teenager. You can be sure your pet will be happy and healthy and your home clean and tidy with me! I have reliable transportation and am open to overnight stays as well as drop-ins. I love to stay active and will make sure your pets get plenty of exercise and plenty of cuddles. I am kind and responsible and will be sure to treat your home and animals like my own! Looking forward to meeting you! I am working full-time at the mountain and can take care of animals before and after the workday (8am-4pm + travel time). My days off are Monday and Wednesday. I am able to travel to take care of pets in your home and for house-sitting. I am unable to board pets at my ski lease.
