About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

About: I've had my own dogs, cats, horses and chickens. I've been pet sitting for a few years now. I try to go on as many walks as possible and even bring them to work if the family is ok with it. I love animals of all ages! I have a full-time job but I can work from home 3 days a week. So I have plenty of free time to go out for walks or simply let them outside. I will make sure they get the attention they need. If they are outside I won't leave them out after dark on their own. Lock all doors for other furry visitors. Make sure they have a comfortable bed. Sometimes sleep together if it's ok with the parents. Have lots of toys and time for walks and play.
About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! About: We are 2 sisters who have always had big dogs around (although no dogs at home currently), and we love taking walks around one of the many beautiful parks in the area. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
