Doggy Day Care in Alpine Meadows

About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your pups while you’re out of town. Enzo and I can come to your place, or your dog can stay with us at ours. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! I am often off work for a week at a time. My schedule is variable because I work in health care. When I am not at the hospital working, I can dedicate the whole day to hanging with the pups Dogs will stay in the house with frequent potty breaks. We have a morning and evening walk each day at the very least - most days I try to spend the majority of the day outside with hikes and lake days

I’m a stay-at-home Mom. Kids are homeschooled so we are always around. Can take your dog outside and for walks throughout the day. I have a fenced yard and a silly boxer boy dog to keep your dog company. I can crate your dog at night if you prefer.

About: As a pet lover and dog mom myself, your pets are my priority and I love getting to meet new dog and cat friends! I am comfortable with pets in all shapes and sizes, and have extensive experience with anxious animals, as my own dog is quite the shy guy. I live in Alpine Meadows and work at Palisades Tahoe, and am happy to give your pets the care they deserve on my off days and before/after work! I work at Palisades Tahoe as a ski instructor and live in the Donner Lake area. I typically work Friday-Sunday with evenings off. I can be flexible if needed! My dog is super friendly and he gets taken out every 3-5 hours if possible. I try to walk him every day, as well as letting him socialize with other pups!

About: Growing up with dogs my whole life, there has not been a year where we have not had dogs in the house.... meaning we love them! To add to growing up with dogs, I (ambitiously) got a puppy during my senior year of college. This taught me to balance caring for a puppy while excelling in school and enjoying my senior year. This challenge gave me a new insight into putting 100% care into a pet and made my bond grow deeper with my dog, Josie. My family's dog, Molly, is a therapy dog for hospitals and schools allowing me to see the true joy that dogs bring into people's lives. That said, I truly enjoy finding the joy and laughter each dog brings into our home! Working from home, I am truly present to take care of and be attentive to all dogs. There are a few days where I will be unavailable due to travel or subbing at school, but those are blocked off on a weekly basis. Josie and I always start our morning with an activity. Josie loves to go on a morning run, so if your pup is a runner... get ready to join the pack! On the other hand, my family's dog, Molly, loves her walks and play time. We also have a park and great trails in our neighborhood meaning the day is open for adventures. Our condo is in a wonderful area close to the beach with lots of grass and easy access to walking trails. As a home welcome to dogs, we love having them sleep with us but can crate them if that is their safest spot. We have the space to feed dogs separately if needed.

Our dog is very anxious and gets stressed easy but with Luke he fit right in and was cool and calm. 100% will be bring our dog back to Luke not only for sitting but for some training as well! About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.
