“Jessica was incredibly responsive and helpful when another sitter had an emergent cancellation just two days before our ski vacation. She was able to accommodate us and had great communication. You can tell Jessica truly cares about the doggies she sits for. Our had a great time and came very happy every day! Thank you Jessica- we’ll reach out to your first when we next come back to Tahoe.”

“Malea was great! Great communication, flexible with my schedule and the need for pick up and drop off. She took my Aussie (high energy dog) on many adventures and when they came back my pupper was tired from exerting her energy and happy! 100% would book again.”

“Micaela took excellent care of my cavalier, Chowder, while we went to a not dog friendly part of the lake. He had so much fun with her, will book again next time we’re in town!”

About: Hello! I'm thrilled at the prospect of caring for your beloved pet. For me, safety is the absolute top priority, closely followed by making sure your furry friend has a great time! My life-long passion for animals started because I was raised with pets and I've turned that passion into hands-on experience: Veterinary Assistant Experience: Working as a vet assistant gave me invaluable insight into animal health, behavior, and care. This background means I'm adept at recognizing subtle changes in well-being and can handle sensitive situations with confidence. Animal Shelter Work: My time at the shelter involved caring for animals with diverse personalities and needs, reinforcing my patience and ability to quickly earn a pet's trust. What I Offer: Whether it's a long, energetic walk, a quiet evening snuggle session on the couch, or providing specialized care, your pet is in excellent hands. I am fully proficient in administering medications (pills, liquids, or injections) and will ensure your pet sticks to their routine. You can also rest assured that your home will be impeccably cared for, leaving you with nothing to worry about while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your pet! I have my own cleaning business and work for myself. I create my own schedule and have plenty of time to schedule walks and overnights I am happy to come to your home to keep your pets comfortable with what they are familiar with. My small home is available for pets to stay as well. I am very attentive to your pets needs and will do everything to make sure they are happy and loved!
“Kathy took excellent care of our husky mix, Coco while we went skiing for the day. It was clear from the way that her own dog was cared for and the way that Coco was immediately at ease in her home, that she was warm and caring. She was easy to communicate with and flexible when we changed the drop off time. She sent some photos during the day - we will definitely contact Kathy again next time we are up for a day at Sugar Bowl !”

About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your pups while you’re out of town. Enzo and I can come to your place, or your dog can stay with us at ours. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! I am often off work for a week at a time. My schedule is variable because I work in health care. When I am not at the hospital working, I can dedicate the whole day to hanging with the pups Dogs will stay in the house with frequent potty breaks. We have a morning and evening walk each day at the very least - most days I try to spend the majority of the day outside with hikes and lake days
“My puppy doesn’t have much experience being away from me, and I was a little worried about leaving him. Colleen and her dog Vino made him feel right at home! Colleen also eased my anxiety by sending me pictures and little updates that he was relaxed and having fun. As a bonus, he came home exhausted! Will definitely book with Colleen and Vino again.”

“This was my first time using Rover and Melissa made it such a positive experience! She sent texts with pictures throughout the time day reassuring us that Boo was having a great time! Will definitely be using her again!”

“Skyline is wonderful with my senior golden and takes her on fun outings! My girl Lucy has her own mini vacation while with Skyline! She sends me many updates, photos and videos and I know my Lucy is having a blast! Thanks again, Skyline and we will be back later in the season. Maureen”

“Peach is amazing! She took care of my pup Lego while I was skiing. She took Lego out for playing in the trail with her pup. Lego had a blast. Peach also sent me a lot of photos and updates throughout the day. I would book with her again!”

“Scott is an incredible sitter. I used him every work day for several weeks in my final months in Truckee—he was super flexible (some days I dropped off at 6am, some days at 11 and there was never an issue). When Kali got spayed, he took excellent care of her and kept an eye especially when she had complications with surgery. I’m so glad I had a dog sitter I trusted in a super chaotic time of my life—you won’t regret booking with Scott! He also has a great dog (Bri) who definitely taught my puppy some manners. Thank you Scott!”

“Meghan has taken good care of our dog while we go skiing. That she picked up and dropped of our dog in ski area made it quite convenient for us. She also sent pics of our dog playing with her dogs in her huge backyard during the day. I will book her day care next time I come to the area!”

“Missy took such good care of Linky while I was in town for a wedding! I appreciated her updates and her flexibility. Would definitely book her again. Thanks again Missy!”
