“Otis did day care with Heather. Heather was great. She is caring and has a real good sense of interacting with dogs. She sent us pictures of Otis nice and cozy next to her fireplace. We were worried as first time Rover users leaving our dog with a stranger, but Heather was calm and made us feel confident in her abilities. You won’t regret booking with her. Fireplace, plenty of cozy spots for the dogs, and a basket full of toys.”

“Kathy was great! We did a meet and greet prior to the sitting date to be sure our Daisy would get along and that went well. Daisy stayed for the better part of a day while we were out and about. We received pictures and updates from Kathy with Daisy out for a walk and playing. It worked out very well and Kathy was a very compassionate dog sitter for Daisy. We will be using Kathy again soon we we are back in the Tahoe area.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs, cats, birds, turtles, lizards, goats, chickens and sheep for 5 years. I also currently work at Lake Tahoe Community College part time. I have experience with senior pets with special needs. I provide talk therapy for those who need it! (meaning, animals who don't trust new people right away). I am available for overnights, dog walks, plant care and house-sitting. I am really good with animals that have fear and trust issues. Some of my clients have been impressed with how quickly a special needs pet warmed up to me. Treats help! I am honest and trustworthy, and would love the opportunity to care for your pets! Thanks! Judy I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time available to care for your pet(s). I work 7 hours a day, 4 days a week at SLT. I will sleep in the same room as your pet so they feel safe. That way, if they need to go out in the middle of the night, I’ll be right there for them.

“Sam was awesome and our dog loved her! We came to Tahoe for the weekend to ski and booked pretty last minute with Sam when we found out late checkout wasn’t an option. She was super flexible and accommodating and came to pick Harvey up and met us in a convenient location on our way out. Will definitely be using Sam again when come back to Tahoe!”

“Jared was great - he was incredibly flexible and knew how to handle dogs. Nala is a little picky and can get snappy with dogs, so I was a little worried, but everything went incredibly smoothly. He was very communicative - he responded immediately whenever I messaged him. Jared was also incredibly accommodating, he was willing to meet up with wherever was convenient with me when dropping of Nala. I would definitely ask Jared to look after Nala again.”

“Lori is a great friend and we hike together when I am at Tahoe. She regularly helps out her neighbors and friends by dog sitting and dog walking. Recently, Lori helped a neighbor who was out of the country because her house/dog sitter was having difficulty acclimating to the altitude and could not walk their 2 year old; very rambunctious Labrador. Tilly was not getting the long walks she was used to so Lori pitched in, and took her for 4-5 mile hikes every few days. When my daughter was visiting last winter, Lori walked their 2 Golden Retrievers; Winnie and Piper, while they went skiing. The dogs love Lori, especially Winnie, it is a relief knowing they are in good hands. I highly recommend Lori for all your dog care needs; she is dependable, kind, loving and thoughtful. She will give your dog(s) 100% of her attention and time.”

“I totally recommend Hailey as a dog sitter/walker, etc. She takes dog sitting seriously and will make friends with all the dogs in the neighborhood. She took care of our dog many, many times. She would run and hike with him, walk him, and just hang out with him. Even when he slowed down due to cancer, she would just lay on the lawn with him - spending quality time. Hailey is responsible and super enthusiastic. You would be lucky to have someone like her who will just love your fur baby.”

“Peach is amazing! She took care of my pup Lego while I was skiing. She took Lego out for playing in the trail with her pup. Lego had a blast. Peach also sent me a lot of photos and updates throughout the day. I would book with her again!”

“My puppy doesn’t have much experience being away from me, and I was a little worried about leaving him. Colleen and her dog Vino made him feel right at home! Colleen also eased my anxiety by sending me pictures and little updates that he was relaxed and having fun. As a bonus, he came home exhausted! Will definitely book with Colleen and Vino again.”
