“Erica is a responsible, experienced and loving pet sitter and dog walker. She even stayed for two nights to watch my giant, crazy puppy and did a great job at managing that puppy energy all the while keeping my home safe from puppy damage. She also did great with my other dog that can be a bit unpredictable off leash. Both my dogs love her and we highly recommend her services.”

About: Puppies are my expertise! Dog owner and volunteer at the local Truckee Tahoe humane society. Fostered over 30 puppies and dogs. Love taking dogs on fun adventures around Tahoe. My schedule is open for pretty much anything. Live locally and can accommodate anywhere around the lake. Prefer north/west/east shore. But open to other locations around Tahoe. My dog is family. So I will do the same. I understand how important pups are treat them as I would want my dog treated.
8. Samantha S.
About: I can't think of a time where animals weren't apart of my life and family. I believe animals should be treated with the same love and respect as humans and that definitely shows in my care style. That's why I’ve chosen to become apart of Rover's community. I am the dog Mom of an amazing 5 year old girl named Mya who gets along very well with other dogs and would love to meet and play with yours. 🐶 I'm currently in the "shoulder season" of work so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pup! I'm available most days unless blocked off on my availability calender. I have a 4 bedroom dog friendly apartment and my own pup and lots of toys to keep yours entertained. I can also crate if need be.
9. Erika N.
“Trustworthy, communicative, engaging! Erika has watched my family's dogs numerous times over the years (usually house-sitting) and always with sincere care and attention. She is diligent about feeding times/care schedules, communicating with us while we're away, and ensuring the dogs have a great time! I highly recommend Erika. You should feel safe and lucky with your pets in her hands, and at peace with Erika as an overall house-sitter. Bonus points if she brings her lovely pup, Willy, along!”
10. Jasmine R.
“Jasmine is the most reliable pet caretaker! She is extremely reliable, friendly, and loving toward my dog and two cats. I highly recommend Jasmine for caring for the diverse needs of your pets. She is the best!!”
11. Nate G.
“Having Nate cat and house sit for us was an absolute delight. Our cat Chloe, who is a bit shy and requires a calm and patient approach, took to Nate immediately. They provided a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring our cat had everything she needed to feel comfortable and secure. Nate also took excellent care of our home, keeping it clean and tidy and attending to any household tasks that needed attention. They provided regular updates and even sent us photos of our cat, which we greatly appreciated. We returned home to a happy and contented cat and a house that was in perfect order. We couldn't have asked for a better pet and house sitter and would highly recommend Nate to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pets and home."”
12. Ryan M.
“Ryan was great with our dog! Additionally, her communication was very good and this made it easy to plan. We were very happy working with her.”
13. Audra N.
“I didn’t end up using Audra. I enjoyed coordinating with her and would recommend her highly as she is experience with GSP breed and all dogs.”
14. Iryna L.
“Iryna has been my choice number #1 for both house and dog sitting when I am away. With so many things to worry about, it's good to have someone extra caring and thoughtful. Overall, very reliable and responsible person. Your fur kid will love Iryna, my Lila does.”
15. Malea J.
“Malea has watched my dog Griffin several times, for as short as a day and as long as a few weeks. He absolutely adores her - she’s kind and caring but also knows how to interact with dogs well, including how to give him commands and encourage him to follow through. When he’s with her for a long stretch he never comes back with bad habits, and he’s always well-brushed, healthy, and happy. I know he loves the time they spend together because he’s always head over heels happy to see her. I’d highly recommend her!”
16. Brady B.
“Brady is so kind and considerate. After our dog decided to jump in a mud puddle on their walk, he took the time to bring our pup to the lake to rinse him off before completing their walk. Very responsive. We will definitely use Brady again in the future!”
17. Anthony S.
“Anthony’s super communicative and flexible”
18. Jenny P.
“Jenny was great! The boys were wonderfully exhausted and Merle got to roll in Bear scat... he's used to rolling dead sea lions at home so that was a treat... for him. ? Will use her again next time we're in the mountains and will recommend her to our friends.”
19. Peach W.
About: Hi, My name is Peach and I have an 8 year old border collie. We love spending time on the open trails, the park, or playing at home. We are open to all types of animals, Brewer used to live on a ranch so he is accustomed to many different types. We are always looking for a play buddy. Currently we live in Tahoe City. I am taking classes to prepare for nursing school, so I have a flexible schedule! Making sure Brewer, or whichever animal I am caring for, has enough care and attention is extremely important to me. I make sure there are several different activities throughout the day for animals to stay happy and engaged. I am able to keep my dog at home, while I am also happy to come watch your pet in your home or take her out for walks/playtime.
20. Amber W.
“Amber was fantastic -- flexible, responsive, and great with dogs! She also braved blizzard weather to walk Kai (who loved the frigid temperatures as much as he loved Amber!). I highly recommend her!”
