About: Ever since I was little I’ve had dogs and cats around as part of the family! I’ve taken care of all ages, young and old! I love walks so a companion to walk with sounds perfect! But I also love chilling and just giving affection if that’s their level:) I have 4 fur babies myself and would do anything for them! I will be working as an entry level realtor so my schedule is flexible! Whenever I don’t need to be running to houses or taking calls I can take care of your babies! So pretty much 7 days a week! Especially nights:) I think of my pets as part of the family. I feel that you need to know them well in order to stay on top of their health and know when something is off. I believe in lots of love given, time, proper diets and regular check ups also knowing when something is wrong and paying the very expensive vet bills because they matter so much to me!

Callie D.
“Callie is a natural around all animals especially dogs. Not only is she a dog lover, but she is also a responsible, conscientious person that is extremely reliable. I would highly recommend her and trust that she would take wonderful care of your pet.”

Amy V.
“Amy has a way with dogs unlike anyone I know. She treats them as if they were her own. Not only does she keep the dogs active, she is always incredibly aware of the surroundings and making sure the environment is safe. Many have already trusted her with the care of their pets and you should too!”

Ruby N.
About: Hi there! Im Ruby, I grew up on a farm and have always surrounded myself with animals. I have helped animals give birth, milked animals, shaved, groomed, bottle fed baby animals, have experience with animal injections, stitches and oral medicine administration and everything in between. I cant have my own animals as a renter so I ask that I get to spend time with yours! When I’m not hiking dogs or enjoying the outdoors, I'm a full time registered nurse. I love the outdoors and would love to hike more with dogs. I am new to Rover but I’ve been house/animal sitting for the last 5 years professionally. I have reliable transportation, great references, and a positive attitude. What more could you ask for than a fun and responsible animal care giver? I am a full time nurse, I get long weekends from Saturday to Tuesday. I have a very flexible schedule and can take breaks to walk dogs on breaks. I live on donner lake and close to lots of trails, I enjoy waking dogs along the lake, playing in the snow with them and maybe even a swim!

Ian C.
“Ian was a wonderful dog sitter for our precious Duke, a 4 year old chocolate lab. He not only had lots of experience with labs, but many different larger more energetic breeds. He respected our home and even left it better than he found it when we returned. If you want someone trustworthy to stay in your home while you’re away Ian’s the person to go with!”

Tricia M.
“Tricia is one of the most detail oriented people I know. She will go above and beyond for your fur baby to not only make sure they are properly taken care of and comfortable, but will also ease your mind as well by providing the best possible care for your animal and communication while you are away. I am beyond thankful I have Tricia to take care of my dog and you will be, too!”

Scott F.
“What can I say, this guy knows dogs and he takes his caring for them seriously. My dog gets so excited as we near Scott’s house. He’s helped keep my dogs weight down, trained him in basic obedience and made him the most loving, happy dog I’ve ever had. If you love your dogs, you’ll take them to the best”

Amara S.

“Amara is great. She is detailed oriented. She took the dog to snow and lake to let him have fun. She also kindly refilled the dog’s water and wiped his paws. She is also super easy to communicate and got logistics like key / date change very smoothly. Highly recommend!”

Sonia B.
About: I have had a cat of my own for 5 years and have been taking care of dogs big and small all my life. I would love to get to know your pets personally. I am a long time Tahoe-Truckee local so I know all the best places for walks! I am currently working part time, and I love to get outside and moving. I am constantly going out for walks rain (snow) or shine! I am more than comfortable walking larger dogs, picking up their "business", or cleaning a litter box. I take my own pet to the local vet and would be willing to drive to Reno in case of an emergency in the middle of the night.

Ryan M.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was 10. My family always had two dogs growing up (through my lifetime I have had 9) ranging from chihuahua mixes to mostly big dogs including labs, goldens and rescues. I used to be a dog sitter for our neighbor and was a nanny to a family with multiple dogs. I currently own a 2 year old black lab who I am the main caretaker of. I currently have a very flexible schedule at work so I have plenty of time for walks and drop in visits. I am happy to come by on short notice to walk or play with your pup! I am happy to stop in your home to feed your dog or let them out as needed during the day. I have a two year old lab that I can bring for a play date as well!

Julie M.
“My daughter Julie has grown up with a dog since the day she was born.,her Siberian Husky lived 13 years and her Wirefox Terrier lived 8 years and had little of puppies. Julie was very involved in caring for the health, training and exercise of her dogs, loving them every moment. This experience evolved into her desire to become an educated and degreed violin instructor for young children and adults. Her patience and calmness is remarkable. Julie would be a wonderful candidate for pet care giving. If I can provide any further information please email me.”

Carissa M.
“Carissa has such a heart for animals! When she moved to Bend, she was unable to have pets of her own due to schedules and housing arrangements, so the first thing she did was go out and find a way to be involved in the community by loving other's animals! She has been fostering for the Humane Society and I've seen how much she truly cares about each animal that comes through her home. My own dogs have taken a liking to her and I have absolute confidence when I leave my pups with her, and you should too!”

Sarah H.
“Sarah really has a talent with dogs, getting to know them as individuals and creating a relationship with them so that they strive to be on their best behavior around her. Your pet is 100% safe and in good hands with Sarah. She took my pup Sophie on many fun adventures around Tahoe and had her over for the occasional sleepover while I was away. Sophie absolutely adores her. You truly couldn't ask for a better dog walker and sitter.”

Celeste T.
“Celeste has been a pet lover since the day she was born and she has grown up with animals her whole life. She is kind and gentle and actually can sense when an animal is feeling anxious and she knows exactly what to do to calm them. She is responsible and punctual and loves everything about animals. When she was younger, she would grab a blanket and curl up in the family dog's bed and take her nap with him!”

Larissa W.

“Larissa was great! Very responsible, good communicator and established good relationship with Pisco!”

Kerri K.
About: Dog owner and volunteer at the local Truckee Tahoe humane society. Fostered over 30 puppies and dogs. Love taking dogs on fun adventures around Tahoe. My schedule is open for pretty much anything. Live locally and can accommodate anywhere around the lake. Prefer north/west/east shore. But open to other locations around Tahoe. I treat my dog like family. So I will do the same. I understand how important pups are treat them as I would want my dog treated.

Jancy Q.
“Jancy’s love for dogs and animals is immeasurable. She is so kind and loving to my dog Brutus. Brutus has dog aggression (and is 135 lbs). It’s always been a challenge for me to find pet care for him until Jancy stepped in to help.. She send pictures every time she walks him and she also is always sure to follow all of the protocol to make sure Brutus has safe walks. She truly has given me so much peace of mind and I just can’t say enough good things about her.”

Kristina D.

“Kristina was awesome and would definitely book her again! She was flexible, communicated details, great with my dog, and provided updates and pics!”

Anthony S.
About: With nearly a lifetime of experience raising and training dogs, primarily hunting/sport breeds, I have been exposed to various handling styles and training techniques that have lead me to focusing on Free-Shaping my personal pack of dogs for the past 13 years. Because I have 3 dogs of my own (teenager, adult, senior) I have a pretty regular routine everyday of various activities with them individually and as a pack. Thursday through Sunday the flexibility of my open availability allows me to take on additional dogs on a part-time basis. Working with dogs will hopefully keep me from growing my pack anymore...fur now😉. My pups have individual crates, and beds to relax in the house. Big back yard, unfortunately unfenced, but there is a tether run and tie outs to use as needed. Dogs are never in the yard unsupervised. I transport them in a Chevy Suburban to other fun places around the Tahoe/Truckee area. Everyday is filled with multiple adventures, meal times in the early AM and late evening after a long walk. Individual needs or "rules" for your fur baby are completely respected, "it's your pup, it's your call".

Brady B.

“Brady dropped in on Millie for a 30 min walk. He was super attentive, listening to Millie when it was too hot to walk, and playing with her inside instead. Brady also took cute pictures :) Thank you, we hope to book you again in the future!”
