8. Theresa P.
About: I have had animals my entire life; cats, dogs, a bird, horses. I love animals and enjoy being with them and adventuring outside with them as much as just spending time with them at home. I have dog sat up to 9 dogs at once and taken care of equestrian facilities. I have been responsible for caring for over 30 horses and have worked for horse trainers. I am active, familiar with large breeds, older special needs animals, and am confident handling difficult and aggressive breeds as well. I’ve also ridden horses my entire life 3 day doing everything from 3 day eventing to trail riding to handling foals and stallions. I am responsible, attentive, patient, and reliable. I work part time mainly at night and would spend most of my day caring for your animals as well as staying with them overnight in your home and ensuring they are given the best care possible for their needs. I am available to house sit in your home and care for your animals while you are out of town or working. I am very attentive to the needs of animals and able to recognize when your animal needs medical care or special attention.
9. Cheryl W.
“Cheryl did a great job of caring for and exercising our 4 year old lab from our Montecito Airbnb. Carley instantly liked her and was nice and tired when we returned. Cheryl was an excellent communicator and working with her was a breeze. Carley seemed quite pleased as well. I highly recommend her.”
10. Sophia J.
“Sophia has taken care of our Golden retriever, Sam. She provided excellent care for him. She walked him and took him on hikes. She also took him to the beach and the lake for swimming. She did overnight stays with him as well. Sam loved her. Sophia is very dependable and responsible. She is a hard worker. We highly recommend Sophia.”
11. Anthony S.
“We visited Tahoe on holiday last week. After vetting a few Rover walkers, I decided on Anthony. He's awesome - knowledgeable about dogs, trustworthy, etc.! He's my new go-to walker/sitter when we're in Tahoe. Thank you, Anthony, for taking such great care of our girl.”
12. Nate G.
“Having Nate watch our senior dog was an absolute blessing. Our dog Molly, who has mobility issues due to arthritis, requires special care and attention. Nate not only understood our dog's specific needs but also went above and beyond to accommodate them. They ensured our dog had a comfortable and safe environment, providing a soft and supportive bed and taking extra care when assisting our dog with movement. His patience and gentle approach were evident in every interaction, and it was clear that our dog felt at ease in their care. We were kept updated with regular messages and photos, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away knowing our dog was in such capable hands. We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter and would highly recommend Nate to anyone looking for exceptional care for their furry family member.”
13. Alistair W.

16. Kerri K.
About: Puppies are my expertise! Dog owner and volunteer at the local Truckee Tahoe humane society. Fostered over 30 puppies and dogs. Love taking dogs on fun adventures around Tahoe. My schedule is open for pretty much anything. Live locally and can accommodate anywhere around the lake. Prefer north/west/east shore. But open to other locations around Tahoe. My dog is family. So I will do the same. I understand how important pups are treat them as I would want my dog treated.

19. Celeste T.
“Celeste has been a pet lover since the day she was born and she has grown up with animals her whole life. She is kind and gentle and actually can sense when an animal is feeling anxious and she knows exactly what to do to calm them. She is responsible and punctual and loves everything about animals. When she was younger, she would grab a blanket and curl up in the family dog's bed and take her nap with him!”
20. Amy V.
“Amy has a way with dogs unlike anyone I know. She treats them as if they were her own. Not only does she keep the dogs active, she is always incredibly aware of the surroundings and making sure the environment is safe. Many have already trusted her with the care of their pets and you should too!”
