About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

About: I have taken care of dogs for many years. Weather it was volunteering at the local humane society or walking my neighbors dog. I also have a dog of my own at home who I miss so much since being at college. So I’d love to spend time with dogs whenever I can. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have a 8 year old dog of my own, so walks, feeding, playtime, and caring for a dog are already a natural part of my everyday routine. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to know that your pet is safe and well cared for. I’ll treat your pet with the same care and attention I give my own dog. I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, walking, and potty schedule, as well as any specific instructions you provide. I want every pet to feel comfortable, safe, and at home while they’re with me.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes and personality for years and I continue to care for them now. I’m experienced with walks, feeding, bathing, playtime, and administering basic medications. I’m currently working remotely part-time, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility. I can’t think of anything better to do during my time than care for animals! I have a safe, pet-friendly home with a fenced yard where pets can play. I also have one friendly dog, but I can easily separate or crate dogs if needed to ensure every pet feels safe and comfortable. About: I've had an assortment of animals my whole life and am an avid animal lover. I have had dogs my entire adult life. All the way from puppies to seniors with special needs, short term and long term fosters, and rescues with unique personalities. I have also had dogs that needed surgical procedures and rehab so I know how to take care of animals who need physical therapy and/or extra special attention. I am known in my circles as the dog whisper and am on all of my friends emergency contact for anything that they need advice with. I believe in building a bond of trust and doing positive reinforcement training techniques with animals and humans alike. Pet and house sitting is my main gig. Which means that I have an open schedule and am available to help out with your fur babies. I would love to go to the beach, hike the trails and go on local adventures with your doggie(s)! Or I'll bring a stack of books and hang out with your kitty. Every animal and environment has their own unique set of needs. I look forward to developing a bond with your fur baby and getting to know what they want and need from me in order to make sure their physical, environmental and mental needs are being fulfilled.

“Lindi was awesome. Highly recommended. Punctual, responsible, and trustworthy. She was flexible with changing booking times at the last minute which was great. She was mindful of locking all the door locks behind her which I thought was a nice touch. Although my poor, scared rescue always hid, Lindi tried her best to coax her but to no avail. I have very flexible availability and do my best to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. I’m also happy to provide references or reviews from past pet owners upon request. I have a pretty flexible schedule and have a lot of time to take care of your pets even if it’s at the last minute. I am used to many different pets and let them approach me. I can walk them, give them the care they need and put them back in their crate.

About: We are 2 sisters who have always had big dogs around (although no dogs at home currently), and we love taking walks around one of the many beautiful parks in the area. We have one cat of our own, and have experience administering medications, including pills, creams, insulin injections, and blood sugar tests. We have a large car with room for dogs in the back. Please let us know upon booking if you'd like us to walk you dog(s) around your neighborhood, our neighborhood (if nearby) or if you'd like us to take them to a dog park. We are trust-worthy people who follow directions well, so whatever you say is safe for your pets, will be our guideline. We always keep an eye out for any danger! We work from home, so we always have time for walks and pets. We have flexible schedules in general and are glad to work with you to find them best time. We always want to best for any animal and to make sure they are comfortable and happy. Feel free to give us any special instructions or guidelines that will make you dog's walk the best it can be!

About: I am an animal lover and am the person all the friends reach out if they need a sitter. I have recently relocated from LA. I can take your fur babies to the beach, dog park, regular park, hiking, or just Netflix and take naps. Im very punctual so meals will be given on time, peepee poopoo walks at least every 2-4hrs, if theres med will be given on time, Lots of vid/photos will be sent if requested. This is my full time for now so taking care of fur babies all say 24/7 Your fur babies will not be alone for a second My place has an unfenced yard and im right next to the lake 30 sec walk to the beach. We can hang out at home or go to a park. Same applies if we were at your place

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

Zac replied to me within minutes... we worked on a good time to meet, he came to condo complex to pick up Sammy (..and was right on time :)). What a life safer for me and Sammy! I work part time and have a very flexible schedule, so I am happy and willing to work with you and your pets’ specific needs and schedule! I provide outdoor walks, check ins, and caring for your pets in your home. I always ensure your pets’ safety by securing them before exiting the car for walks, making sure they are leashed, checking shade/temperature of the park or trail we may be using, and ensuring all unsafe foods/objects are out of the dog or cats reach when in the home. I also have a large vehicle with room for dogs and crates of all sizes.

About: I have my own 4 year old black lab who loves attention, long walks, and spending time with other dogs. I’ve hosted many dogs through Rover over the past several years and treat every dog as my own. I prefer to walk or dog sit one additional dog at a time so that they can have individualized attention. I will constantly send photos of your pup while they’re with me and will spend time at any of the nearby parks in the city. I work from home full time so I can host your pup when needed. My dog loves to be with other dogs so it’s great to host during the week for extra socializing. I’m typically available on weekends as long as I’m not heading out of town. My dog loves playing with other dogs and loves trips to the park, but he is also in his old man era and will get lazy after a long walk which brings a good balance of chill time and being active.

About: We have taken care of animals all our lives and have a genuine love for each of them. We have experience with it all; new puppies and kittens, as well as older furry friends who may need special treatment and/or administering medication. Between the both of us, we always make it a priority to work with our pups with lots of playtime, exercise, training and socialization daily. We both are self employed and create our own schedules so we are flexible and work together to ensure our pets have an enjoyable & active day. We have a large dog-friendly fenced-in yard as well as amazing trails just outside our backdoor. Our Aussie-Border Collie mix, Penny is super friendly and submissive and gets along with everyone. She is super gentle when needed and can hold her own with larger dogs also. We have a very well socialized cat, Eleanor, who LOVES dogs and visitors.

About: I have taken care of all types of pets since I was 10 years old, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bath their pets. I have been pet sitting since I was 13 years old, worked in a vet office, and a pet store for a total of 4 years. I currently work from home and can work anywhere with wifi. I am able to work from your home with your pet and am flexible in the fact that I can come over and take care of your pets when you require it. I will give your pets all the attention and am very reliable. I love pet sitting/dog walking and offer the flexibility and experience I think is necessary to provide the best possible environments for your pets while you are away.
