About: Hi, I’m Monica, a Truckee local, animal lover, and pet owner with two cats and a dog of my own. A huge reason why I was interested in doing this is because I know firsthand how hard it can be to find a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter in Tahoe. Leaving your animals with someone else can be stressful, and I want people to feel confident that their pets are genuinely cared for while they’re away. I live an active mountain lifestyle and am great with dogs that love getting outside, but equally happy caring for shy cats, senior pets, or animals that just need calm companionship and consistency. I’ve also spent time involved in ski patrol and search and rescue environments, which I think speaks to the kind of person I am, responsible, calm under pressure, attentive, and safety-oriented. I promise to care for your animals the same way I’d want someone caring for mine ❤️ I work remotely running my own accounting business, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be very present and attentive with the animals I care for. I have a pretty flexible schedule and have a lot of time to take care of your pets even if it’s at the last minute. I am used to many different pets and let them approach me. I can walk them, give them the care they need and put them back in their crate.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs all sizes from chihuahua to aussies to Great Pyrenees! Will gladly handle any special requests! Will go for any length walk, keep your dog engaged if needed! I am currently working part time at target and looking for something fun and active to do in my off time! My schedule can change sometimes but I am mostly available in the day time! I can crate your dogs If needed, take dogs/cats for walks, clean litter boxes and any doggy messes including throw up! Will keep you updated throughout the visit and ask any questions on things I’m not clear on!

About: We have taken care of animals all our lives and have a genuine love for each of them. We have experience with it all; new puppies and kittens, as well as older furry friends who may need special treatment and/or administering medication. Between the both of us, we always make it a priority to work with our pups with lots of playtime, exercise, training and socialization daily. We both are self employed and create our own schedules so we are flexible and work together to ensure our pets have an enjoyable & active day. We have a large dog-friendly fenced-in yard as well as amazing trails just outside our backdoor. Our Aussie-Border Collie mix, Penny is super friendly and submissive and gets along with everyone. She is super gentle when needed and can hold her own with larger dogs also. We have a very well socialized cat, Eleanor, who LOVES dogs and visitors.

About: Hi! My name is Erika and I live in Truckee with my partner Sully and our middle aged husky-mix, Willy. Although, we commonly call her by her nickname, Bill. We’ve been providing house and dog sitting for the past few years now as I have a flexible remote job. Typically I bring Willy with me when watching other dogs as she loves to play! My partner, Sully, will help with dog sits at times. We do travel, as we have a travel trailer, so we will dog sit outside the Tahoe area as well when on the road. I work remotely for a small startup based out of Truckee and have a flexible work schedule during the weekday. I walk my pup at least twice a day already but it is always nice to be in the company of other dogs. I keep my dog on-leash on walks to ensure she stays safe. I always make sure to not leave any food out she may get to, as she quite sneaky!

About: Hi there, I’m Olivia and can’t wait to meet your fur family! My parents had a sweet spot for rescues and adopted dogs from shelters throughout my childhood. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds/sizes, ages, personalities, and levels of health. Over the past 15 years I have also sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I work remotely for a local company so my availability is pretty flexible and will allow me to be with your pup(s) as often as needed. Safety is my top priority. They will be leashed for potty breaks if there isn’t a fenced yard at home and on walks, especially while exploring busy trails and beaches.

About: My family has had labs my whole life! I've watched countless breeds in other people's homes and in my own. I'd love to take them to the beach or on a trail! I'm an electrician so I typically work 8 to 5 monday to thursday, but my schedule is sometimes random. Just reach out to me and we can work something out! I pay all of my attention to your pups or cats! I'll take them on long walks or even hikes. I can feed them while you're gone and give them any medications needed. I'm an electrician in truckee and I usually work Monday through Thursday from 8 to 5. I'm typically free on weekends and evenings and I'd love to help your animals feel comfortable! I can stay at your home or offer drop in visits! I can take your dogs on walks or hikes and I can make sure they're fed on time! I'll hang out with them at your home so they're not alone while you're gone!

About: I am a Tahoe native living in the city without my pets. So naturally I love being outdoors and enjoying the company of furry friends. I have been surrounded by different types of animals my whole life (dogs, cats, rats, ferrets, horses) and I know how special and unique each creature is (and I love them for it). Growing up around animals gave me a great understanding of their behavior and a love for their company. I have pet sat in a few locations around the world. This has given me a further understanding of both animals and their owners. I am a professional pet person who understands what it takes to care for your pets properly. My goal is always to make your pets feel happy and safe!

About: I am finishing up nursing school and when I am not studying, I hang out with my best pal, Tessa Rose (my dog). I believe life is best when accompanied by four legged friends. I am very type A and am thorough and meticulous in all that I do - your dogs happiness is my priority and should I be house sitting I leave places better than I found them. I am reasonable , flexible and looking to help you out if you have to part with your dogs. I know how hard it is to leave them behind and will do my best to make sure they are well kept and happy until your return. I have a pretty flexible schedule. Where I am mostly free in the mornings and evenings with nursing school in the afternoons. I typically walk my pup in the morning, midday and evenings. When I don’t have class , I usually take my dog for a big hike or snow adventure conditions and season depending. I keep the norms that the dogs are used to; consistency is important for dogs (and people too!) I give dogs love , pets , and walks.

About: I love animals and started dog care for a family in high school. I’m a runner so I ran with the large dogs and learned to adjust walks to the dogs. I don’t have a dog of my own so i love caring for other people’s dogs. I’m a student at Chico State, but I’m available to dog walk on Thursday’s and weekends. I’m available for house sitting every day of the week :) Any dog I am sitting will enjoy either a leisurely stroll or a run depending on the dog. I love both dogs and cats (and all other animals) so I will shower your fur babies with love.
