About: I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats and truly love any time I get to spend around furry friends. Whether it’s going on walks, drop-in visits, or just giving your pet some extra attention and care while you’re away, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I have very flexible availability and do my best to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. I’m also happy to provide references or reviews from past pet owners upon request. I have a pretty flexible schedule and have a lot of time to take care of your pets even if it’s at the last minute. I am used to many different pets and let them approach me. I can walk them, give them the care they need and put them back in their crate.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my comprehensive experience and dedication to personalized pet care. Growing up surrounded by a variety of animals and living next to a farm provided me with invaluable hands-on experience in animal care from a young age. My commitment to ensuring each dog feels safe, loved, and engaged during their time with me makes my services exceptional. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and deeply passionate about the well-being of every pet I care for. I do work full time but on days I do work, I will be able to provide walks in the morning and in the early evening! I would love to work out a schedule that works best for you and your pet ! I recently moved to truckee and live very close to hiking and walking trails where I would be able to walk your pet. My house has a spacious, fenced in front yard where your pet could play!

About: I received formal education and receive continual education of cat and dog behavior at my job as Lead Animal Caretaker for the Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe. I understand that every dog is an individual and should be treated as such. I have experience working with and handling dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. Dogs with some “undesirable” behaviors are not a problem for me, and I am prepared to adapt to each dog’s needs. Chances are that I have dealt with it before. I will create a positive and enriching experience for your dog no matter what. I am free in the late morning and afternoons on Wednesdays and Thursdays, please feel free to reach out about specific times if you need to! You can be assured that your dog’s safety and emotional well being are my number one priority. They will always be kept on a leash, and they will be comfortable and happy.

About: I love animals and started dog care for a family in high school. I’m a runner so I ran with the large dogs and learned to adjust walks to the dogs. I don’t have a dog of my own so i love caring for other people’s dogs. I’m a student at Chico State, but I’m available to dog walk on Thursday’s and weekends. I’m available for house sitting every day of the week :) Any dog I am sitting will enjoy either a leisurely stroll or a run depending on the dog. I love both dogs and cats (and all other animals) so I will shower your fur babies with love.

About: Hi there, I’m Olivia and can’t wait to meet your fur family! My parents had a sweet spot for rescues and adopted dogs from shelters throughout my childhood. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds/sizes, ages, personalities, and levels of health. Over the past 15 years I have also sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I work remotely for a local company so my availability is pretty flexible and will allow me to be with your pup(s) as often as needed. Safety is my top priority. They will be leashed for potty breaks if there isn’t a fenced yard at home and on walks, especially while exploring busy trails and beaches.

“Zac was a great help when I couldn't walk my dog because of an injury for 3 days. He responded very quickly and answered all my questions. We have a friendly, playful 9 month Great Dane who is already over 100 lbs so I wanted someone who was comfortable with that size. He is friendly, was here on time and was good with my dog. The pup came back happy and was pleased to see Zac on subsequent visits. I recommend him and will use again when needed.”

We offer pet care services, including dog walking, feeding, and playtime activities in a stress free environment resulting in improved physical and mental well being of your pet. I have years of experience taking care of cats, dogs, and other small exotic animals. I work from home in a stress free environment allowing me plenty of quality time with your pet. I'm available for short or long term care with minimal notice. I do not have a fenced in yard but live in a pet friendly community with plenty of space to roam and exercise your pet. I love hiking and walking and provide multiple outdoor breaks during the day. I have a pet safe balcony. There are stairs in my place and thought it would be informative to share.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs all sizes from chihuahua to aussies to Great Pyrenees! Will gladly handle any special requests! Will go for any length walk, keep your dog engaged if needed! I am currently working part time at target and looking for something fun and active to do in my off time! My schedule can change sometimes but I am mostly available in the day time! I can crate your dogs If needed, take dogs/cats for walks, clean litter boxes and any doggy messes including throw up! Will keep you updated throughout the visit and ask any questions on things I’m not clear on!

About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

About: I am finishing up nursing school and when I am not studying, I hang out with my best pal, Tessa Rose (my dog). I believe life is best when accompanied by four legged friends. I am very type A and am thorough and meticulous in all that I do - your dogs happiness is my priority and should I be house sitting I leave places better than I found them. I am reasonable , flexible and looking to help you out if you have to part with your dogs. I know how hard it is to leave them behind and will do my best to make sure they are well kept and happy until your return. I have a pretty flexible schedule. Where I am mostly free in the mornings and evenings with nursing school in the afternoons. I typically walk my pup in the morning, midday and evenings. When I don’t have class , I usually take my dog for a big hike or snow adventure conditions and season depending. I keep the norms that the dogs are used to; consistency is important for dogs (and people too!) I give dogs love , pets , and walks.

I'll love your dog like my own and hope to help out with getting him / her out of the house while you're away. I have experience walking / exercising all sorts of dogs; big, small, old, young, high energy, and social butterflies. I'm currently work from home, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to play with your pup! I'm dedicated to taking the best care of your furry friend. While visiting your dog for weekly walks, I will defer to your defined house rules when it comes to greeting and socializing with your dog. I will be sure to keep any preferred doors closed, gates up, and toys away. I will reinforce rules like staying off of furniture, etc. I will always be sure to refill water bowls as needed and will leave your home tidy and clean. If allowed, I will be happy to give your dog treats after a successful walk! I have also had many opportunities to house sit and truly enjoy it! I will treat your home as my own, keeping things clean, tidy, and respecting your space. My priority remains the same among all of my house sits, making sure your home, house plants, animals, and daily responsibilities are well looked after and taken care of.
