About: I have experience working at a doggy day-care. I was responsible for watching and entertaining up to 25 dogs at a time of all ages and sizes! I am currently working 4 days a week Tues-Fri. I have a long weekend every week to give your pup the love and attention they deserve! I hope to find some canine friends to hike with me on the weekends. I can cater to whatever your dog needs as I have plenty of experience working with different breeds, sizes, and ages. Just let me know and I will provide.

About: Hi, I’m Monica, a Truckee local, animal lover, and pet owner with two cats and a dog of my own. A huge reason why I was interested in doing this is because I know firsthand how hard it can be to find a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter in Tahoe. Leaving your animals with someone else can be stressful, and I want people to feel confident that their pets are genuinely cared for while they’re away. I work remotely running my own bookkeeping business, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be very present and attentive with the animals I care for. I’m detail-oriented, communicative, and reliable, and I’ll always treat your pets and home with respect. I live an active mountain lifestyle and am great with dogs that love getting outside, but I’m equally happy caring for shy cats, senior pets, or animals that just need calm companionship and consistency. I’ve also spent time involved in ski patrol and search and rescue environments, which I think speaks to the kind of person I am, responsible, calm under pressure, attentive, and safety-oriented. I’m currently building my Rover profile and offering introductory pricing while I establish reviews and relationships with local clients here in Truckee. I promise to care for your animals the same way I’d want someone caring for mine. I am a full-time Truckee resident and work from home so I have plenty of flexibility to check in and play with your pets! Here most weekends as well. I prioritize your pet's well being, adhering to routines and ensuring a clean environment. Trust is paramount; I maintain your pet's space meticulously, respecting privacy, and providing attentive, reliable care.

I have a pretty flexible schedule and have a lot of time to take care of your pets even if it’s at the last minute. I am used to many different pets and let them approach me. I can walk them, give them the care they need and put them back in their crate.

About: I have taken care of a lot of different animals including dogs, cats, cows, horses, sheep, goats, chickens etc. I feel confident that your pets will have a nice time hanging out with me and they will be safe and well fed. I am working as a river guide a couple of days a week so I will be unavailable while on the river. Other than that, I have an open schedule. I am living in my van so I cannot host. I spend most of my time outside so I would love to care for your pets at your home. I think that place is important and would be interested to see how your animals act when they are at home.

About: I started house sitting in high school and am highly adaptable to each animal and owner needs. I grew up with a dog, used to live with two beautiful german shepherds for 3 years, and have two adventure cats, Swoop and Riley, that live with me on the road in my camper van. I love animals. I’ve raised chickens and ducks, have plenty of experience with pet injuries and medication, walking large strong dogs, and take my cats out to explore the world. I am a huge hiker so if you would love for me to burn some energy out of your fur baby, I’m your girl but I’m also here for all the pet cuddles. I’m currently working Sunday-Wednesday in Incline but am available early mornings and evenings on those days with a lunch break. I have open availability all other parts of the Tahoe and Truckee, Carson City between Wednesday night and Sunday morning. I live in a van in Tahoe for the season so I have great flexibility. I have plenty of experience house sitting and can provide references as well. I always treat other people’s homes with respect and care. I would love to talk about expectations and how I can best care for everything.

About: Friends and family can always relay on me to take care of their pet when needed. Love giving them the attention they want and deserve! I work for myself so my schedule is flexible and I have plenty of room in my day to take care of your pet. Walk them, feed and play. I’ll take care of your dog just how you would like me to and send photos if you miss them and want to know everything is ok!

About: I grew up in Alaska with a house full of energetic huskies. I have experience with puppies as well as old dogs who need extra attention. I love to run/ get outside with dogs! It's always more fun with a little company. I have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation. I work in a ski shop Wed-Sun, but have plenty of time to take breaks and check on the pup. I own an SUV with plenty of room for the dog to hang out in if they come with me to work. I typically work 4-7 hours per day so the dog wouldn't be left alone too long if I kept them at home. My service would require care in the clients home because my lease is strictly no pets. I would be happy to care for your pet in the comfort of its' own home! I would take it for at least 2 walk/runs per day, feed it according to your schedule, and of course give it plenty of love and attention while you're gone.
