Hi, I'm Sam! I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and have been back and forth from there and the Tahoe area for about three years now. This time around, I moved to Truckee in November, with my husband Nico, and plan to be here long term. He often assists me with pet sitting so we can assure your pets get the quality time they need and deserve in a day. I have owned pets my entire life and have much experience with other people's pets as well. At home, I raised my current dog Margo from a puppy, tended to my previous cats and dogs when they got old, and have had experience fostering and then later adopting an aggressive and unpredictable rescue dog. I started walking and pet sitting my neighbor's dogs at the age of 12. I have house/pet sat for cats and dogs of every kind, including old dogs who have accidents in the house and skittish dogs who are afraid of people. I also have experience administering insulin shots to cats. In college, I continued my dog walking and house/pet sitting, and this past summer 2024, I spent almost every day pet/house sitting. Most recently, I adopted a bunny, so I've been caring for her and now have experience with small animals as well. I love animals more than anything in this world and am so excited to meet all the adorable pets in this area.
