About: With nearly a lifetime of experience raising and training dogs, primarily hunting/sport breeds, I have been exposed to various handling styles and training techniques that have lead me to focusing on Free-Shaping my personal pack of dogs for the past 13 years. Because I have 3 dogs of my own (teenager,adult,senior) I have a pretty regular routine everyday of various activities with them individually and as a pack. Thursday through Sunday the flexibility of my open availability allows me to take on additional dogs on a part-time basis. Working with dogs will hopefully keep me from growing my pack anymore...fur now😉. My pups have individual crates, and beds to relax in the house. Big back yard, unfortunately unfenced, but there is a tether run and tie outs to use as needed. Dogs are never in the yard unsupervised. I transport them in a Chevy Suburban to other fun places around the Tahoe/Truckee area. Everyday is filled with multiple adventures, meal times in the early AM and late evening after a long walk. Individual needs or "rules" for your fur baby are completely respected, "it's your pup, it's your call".

About: Hello! My name is Amy and I grew up with a Cocker Spaniel and two cats. After leaving home, I always wanted to get a dog of my own, but in my current situation, my apartment does not accept pets full time. In order to fill that void, I have looked for other ways to care for these special animals! I often walk and watch after friends' dogs during the week and weekends. I am an extremely active person. I run almost everyday and would love to have a side kick to take on a stroll throughout Olympic Valley! I currently have a full time, remote job for a sporting goods company, but often have many days with spare time. I make my own hours so I am able to be flexible during the week for walks or visits. In addition, I am available to discuss weekend care watching if our schedules align! My current apartment has a yard and is able to have pets visit. I always keep my place is the safest possible condition for friends' dogs and babies - yours would be no different! In addition, living in Olympic Valley, I am a short distance from many dog friendly hikes and beaches.

About: Hello! For starters: I live with three amazing rescues dogs; Mazy, Sid and Jack. Jack is on medication for his back leg joint because he’s getting older so I do have experience with medicated doggos. Growing up I was in 4H since the age of 9 so I had great responsibilities on raising animals. I truly love watching them grow into their own personalities. Having that responsibility keeps me on task with what an animal needs in their daily life; food, water, cardio(depending on size) and lots of love! I’m currently taking online college classes so I will be available most mornings. My schedule is flexible so I can make arrangements. I’m looking for ongoing long-term schedules if possible. Please reach out to me if you’d like! I have a fenced yard for a smaller to medium dog. There is a park nearby my house, it is dog friendly and lots of grass to run in.

About: I’ve taken care of pets of every kind since I was a kid. From dogs and cats to birds and turtles. Animals have always been a magical part of my life. Weekly animals are a huge part of my life. From caring for my own, to walking dogs and watching animals while their families are away. We live in a neighborhood that is very close to lots of great trails for hiking. About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and often cared for neighbors' pets when they were away. I no longer have pets of my own, so I love to spend time with friends' pets and take their dogs on adventures. They always come back tired and happy! I've cared for animals with special dietary and medicinal needs, and I'm good at making friends with shy animals. I would love to meet your pet! I work Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm. Unfortunately I am unable to visit your pet in the middle of these hours, so if they can't be alone for 8-9 hours, i encourage you to look for a sitter who better fits your needs. Sorry for the inconvenience! I can't bring your pet to my home due to my roommates' 3 cats, but I am happy to make sure your pet can maintain their normal routine in your home, so they can stay fit, happy, and healthy.

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.
