About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

I signed up for Rover because dog sitting helps me get my fix for having a doggy harem. I would love to shower your dog with attention and affection. I volunteer at the local humane society, so I'm very adept at adapting to your dog's needs. I particularly love active dogs, and I'm happy to take your pup on hikes and swims in the lake. I'm also happy to hang out and have a more relaxing day with older, less active pups. Ellie (13) is very well-socialized, and she gets along well with dogs of all sizes. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m always happy to go out for a walk or a hike. Ellie, my 13-year-old Lab, is always up for meeting a new dog friend. Daycare Rates & Information: Daycare is up to 8 hours of care. Anything longer than that time, please book a boarding stay. Drop-offs anytime after 8 a.m. Pickups before 8 p.m. Although there is a nice buffer of woods near my house, the yard is not fenced (hopefully soon). I’ll be sure to keep your pup on a leash just in case! There’s an enclosed deck for sunbathing and watching chipmunks.

I love animals of all ages! I have a full-time job but I can work from home 3 days a week. So I have plenty of free time to go out for walks or simply let them outside. I will make sure they get the attention they need. If they are outside I won't leave them out after dark on their own. Lock all doors for other furry visitors. Make sure they have a comfortable bed. About: I’ve owned and cared for anywhere from 2-5 dogs and 2 cats at a time my entire life, most of which have been rescues of all ages, sizes, and behaviors. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at the local Humane Society with dogs and cats for around 8 years and have dog and cat watched for family and friends countless times. I’m comfortable with administering oral medication, using feline inhalers, and caring for animals from puppies and kittens to senior dogs. I am generally available every day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but can start earlier or end later as needed. On Mondays I am only available until 3:00 PM. Animals love me and I love them- be it hiking and exploring a lake, throwing sticks in the yard, frolicking in the snow, taking a short stroll, chasing a feather on a stick, or just kicking our feet up for a chill day. I have 3 friendly dogs and 2 cats at my home (one laid back, one spunky 1.5 year old) and a large, unfenced area in the woods where dogs can be leash walked or free roam. There are 4 litter boxes and 2 cat trees throughout the spacious multi-floor house. My own dogs are outside playing the majority of the day with water bowls and a bowl puppy pool outside or cooling down inside.

About: I have experience working at a doggy day-care. I was responsible for watching and entertaining up to 25 dogs at a time of all ages and sizes! I work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week Tues-Fri. I am not home for pick ups/drop-offs between 7:15 AM-6:30 PM on those days. However my 3-day weekend gives me plenty of time to give your pup the love and attention they deserve! About: I have grown up around dogs. I aspire to be a trainer and have already taught my dogs many tricks. Dogs are like family, mine go everywhere with me. HOUSE SITTING: I will watch your dog any days booked. We will have many adventures and send lots of photos. DROP IN: I will come and check on your pupper, take them outside for potty break and maybe a quick walk. DOG WALKING: I will take your pup for a walk however long you need. Depending on where we are if your dog is ok off leash we can do an off leash walk. DOGGY DAYCARE: I will watch your pup through the day and we will likely go on a hike or to a body of water to play. IF PRICING IS TOO HIGH SHOOT ME A MEESSAGE WE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT :) Typically my dog is my world so we go for many adventures and he goes everywhere with me and your pup could as well. If left alone, I do have a way to sepperate puppers. Typically we wake up, I feed them and take them for a walk.
About: I have my own 4 year old black lab who loves attention, long walks, and spending time with other dogs. I’ve hosted many dogs through Rover over the past several years and treat every dog as my own. I prefer to walk or dog sit one additional dog at a time so that they can have individualized attention. I will constantly send photos of your pup while they’re with me and will spend time at any of the nearby parks in the city. I work from home full time so I can host your pup when needed. My dog loves to be with other dogs so it’s great to host during the week for extra socializing. I’m typically available on weekends as long as I’m not heading out of town. My dog loves playing with other dogs and loves trips to the park, but he is also in his old man era and will get lazy after a long walk which brings a good balance of chill time and being active.
About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. About: Hi! My name is Erika and I live in Truckee with my partner Sully and our middle aged husky-mix, Willy. Although, we commonly call her by her nickname, Bill. We’ve been providing house and dog sitting for the past few years now as I have a flexible remote job. Typically I bring Willy with me when watching other dogs as she loves to play! My partner, Sully, will help with dog sits at times. We do travel, as we have a travel trailer, so we will dog sit outside the Tahoe area as well when on the road. I work remotely for a small startup based out of Truckee and have a flexible work schedule during the weekday. I walk my pup at least twice a day already but it is always nice to be in the company of other dogs. I keep my dog on-leash on walks to ensure she stays safe. I always make sure to not leave any food out she may get to, as she quite sneaky!

About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. About: We have taken care of animals all our lives and have a genuine love for each of them. We have experience with it all; new puppies and kittens, as well as older furry friends who may need special treatment and/or administering medication. Between the both of us, we always make it a priority to work with our pups with lots of playtime, exercise, training and socialization daily. We both are self employed and create our own schedules so we are flexible and work together to ensure our pets have an enjoyable & active day. We have a large dog-friendly fenced-in yard as well as amazing trails just outside our backdoor. Our Aussie-Border Collie mix, Penny is super friendly and submissive and gets along with everyone.
