About: Hi, I’m Julia! I’m 44 years old and originally from France, and I’d love to be your pet’s new favorite sitter 🐾 I have many years of experience caring for animals, especially dogs. My own dog lived to almost 17 years old, so I’m very familiar with everything from playful pups to senior care, including medications, special diets, and extra patience when needed. I genuinely love being outdoors and going on walks, and I always make sure each pet gets the exercise, attention, and routine they’re used to—whether that’s regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, or just lots of cuddles and companionship. When I lived in Cameron Park, I cared for five dogs of my own and kept them all very active through daily walks, outdoor time, and structured routines. Since moving, I no longer have pets of my own due to limited space and financial stability, but my experience with multiple dogs has given me strong hands-on knowledge of managing different personalities and energy levels at once. This experience has helped me stay confident and attentive when caring for other people’s pets, and I treat every animal like they are my own while they are in my care.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I raised a Beagle (Billy) from puppyhood and proudly attended dog training classes with him (Billy and I both learned alot !) I've also had the joy of rescuing Summer, a gorgeous ex-show dog Golden Retriever, who was by my side for 13 years. After that was Bammer, an Alaskan Husky Lab mix. About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

About: I have taken care of a lot of different animals including dogs, cats, cows, horses, sheep, goats, chickens etc. I feel confident that your pets will have a nice time hanging out with me and they will be safe and well fed. I am working as a river guide a couple of days a week so I will be unavailable while on the river. Other than that, I have an open schedule. I am living in my van so I cannot host. I spend most of my time outside so I would love to care for your pets at your home. I think that place is important and would be interested to see how your animals act when they are at home.
