I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I raised a Beagle (Billy) from puppyhood and proudly attended dog training classes with him (Billy and I both learned alot !) My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I’ve hosted many dogs through Rover over the past several years and treat every dog as my own. I prefer to walk or dog sit one additional dog at a time so that they can have individualized attention. About: Hi, My name is Peach and I have an 8 year old border collie. We love spending time on the open trails, the park, or playing at home. We are open to all types of animals, Brewer used to live on a ranch so he is accustomed to many different types. We are always looking for a play buddy. Currently, we live in Tahoe City. I am in nursing school and work at the hospital. Making sure Brewer, or whichever animal I am caring for, has enough care and attention is extremely important to me. I make sure there are several different activities throughout the day for animals to stay happy and engaged. I am able to keep my dog at home, while I am also happy to come watch your pet in your home or take her out for walks/playtime.

About: We are 2 sisters who have always had big dogs around (although no dogs at home currently), and we love taking walks around one of the many beautiful parks in the area. We have one cat of our own, and have experience administering medications, including pills, creams, insulin injections, and blood sugar tests. We have a large car with room for dogs in the back. Please let us know upon booking if you'd like us to walk you dog(s) around your neighborhood, our neighborhood (if nearby) or if you'd like us to take them to a dog park. We are trust-worthy people who follow directions well, so whatever you say is safe for your pets, will be our guideline. We always keep an eye out for any danger! We work from home, so we always have time for walks and pets. We have flexible schedules in general and are glad to work with you to find them best time. We always want to best for any animal and to make sure they are comfortable and happy. Feel free to give us any special instructions or guidelines that will make you dog's walk the best it can be!

About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.
About: Dogs have been in my life since as long as I can remember. Taking care of animals is something I enjoy and therefore, do diligently. I understand the relationship between pets and their owners and I take care of anything you are worried about during your absence. I currently work from home, so I am available whenever is needed. I’ll be sure to keep your pup on a leash just in case! There’s an enclosed deck for sunbathing and watching chipmunks.
