About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, from growing up with them to having two Labrador Retrievers of my own. I also spent college as the head caretaker for our bulldog mascot, which required professional training. These days, I work remotely, so I have a lot more flexibility than the typical 9-to-5 sitter. When I’m house sitting, your dog can have plenty of company throughout the day rather than being left alone for hours. I can work from your home, take breaks for walks, and adjust the routine around what your dog is used to. I live in the Tahoe area and spend a lot of my free time outside, so I’m especially happy to get out for walks, hikes, or just some time in the fresh air with an energetic dog. At the same time, I’m equally happy hanging out at home with a senior dog or a pup who would rather spend the afternoon on the couch. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and have experience with senior dogs, daily exercise, and oral medications. My goal is to keep your dog comfortable and on their normal routine while you’re away, take good care of your home, and send enough photos and updates that you know they’re doing well. I’m happy to meet beforehand so we can make sure it’s a good fit and go over your dog’s routine, favorite spots, and anything else I should know. I work remotely and have flexibility on weekdays and weekends to stay at your home full-time or do frequent drop-ins, depending on the client’s preferences. I take the utmost care for a clients space when dog sitting, respecting all guidelines, over communicating as needed, and leaving the space as if I was never there each time. I like to share frequent updates proactively so the owner can be at peace their dog is well taken care of.

About: I’m new to Truckee after recently moving from Denver, where I had an amazing group of regular Rover clients and pets I cared for. I’m excited to start building those same relationships here in Tahoe! 🐾 I have over 15 years of animal care and ownership experience and have been around dogs and cats my entire life. About: I often care for my friends dogs when they travel. I love these dogs so I always want to take good care of them and they love me too! I live in Incline Village and have a very flexible work-from-home job. So it's easy for me to go out for walks or stay and work at a different house. I can likely adapt and will follow directions on whatever your dog needs at home and on their walks. I don't have many work meetings so I'm easy to reach and am a quick responder.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes and personality for years and I continue to care for them now. I’m experienced with walks, feeding, bathing, playtime, and administering basic medications. I’m currently working remotely part-time, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility. I can’t think of anything better to do during my time than care for animals! I have a safe, pet-friendly home with a fenced yard where pets can play. I also have one friendly dog, but I can easily separate or crate dogs if needed to ensure every pet feels safe and comfortable. About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.
