“Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Averyl was absolutely wonderful with our fur baby, Sugar! She went above and beyond by coming all the way to Northstar in the snow, so we could enjoy a full day on the slopes worry-free. Her communication throughout the day was excellent, and the pupdates she sent were so thoughtful and reassuring. We especially appreciated how she kept Sugar active with plenty of walks around the area. It’s clear that Averyl genuinely loves animals, and her warm, friendly personality shines through. Knowing Sugar was in such capable and caring hands allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our ski day. We’re so grateful for Averyl’s care and flexibility, and we’ll absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog sitter!”

“Aaron was fantastic! Redford had an amazing time; they went on plenty of walks and adventures, and I could tell he was really well cared for. Aaron also stayed at my house and left it in perfect condition. I'd highly recommend Aaron; he’s great!”

About: With 13 years of caring for my own cat and 10 years with my rescue golden retriever, I’ve developed a deep understanding of pets’ unique needs. I’m experienced with dogs of all breeds and sizes and comfortable caring for cats, birds, fish, hamsters, and more. As a former realtor, I understand the importance of trust and responsibility, ensuring your home and keys are handled with the utmost care and professionalism. My warm, reliable approach guarantees your pets feel safe, loved, and happy during every visit. My flexible schedule allows me to offer weekday and weekend availability, providing personalized care tailored to your pet’s routine. I bring enthusiasm to walks, playtime, and cuddles, creating joyful experiences for your furry or feathered friends. With a passion for animals and a commitment to trust, I’m here to be your reliable choice for exceptional pet care.
“Jessica took great care of our pup. She clearly has a lot of knowledge and familiarity with dogs and we felt very comfortable leaving town knowing she was taking care of our 9 month old puppy. I wholeheartedly recommend her!”

“Scott was great with our new 14 week old puppy. Our puppy was pumped to see him each day and that is probably the best endorsement. Scott was consistently on time (even early!) and made it easy.”

“Kinan goes above and beyond as both a sitter and dog walker. He takes exceptional care of my German Shepherd, Zara, and it’s clear how much he genuinely loves animals. As a house sitter, he’s the best I’ve ever had—he left my home spotless, was so respectful of our space, and spent so much quality time with my girl while I was away. I can’t recommend him enough—10/10!”

“Kelly was absolutely fantastic taking care of my pups over a weekend for me. She sent regular updates and I can see she truly cares about animals! She’ll be my first choice for future pet sitting needs!”

About: Friends and family can always relay on me to take care of their pet when needed. Love giving them the attention they want and deserve! I work for myself so my schedule is flexible and I have plenty of room in my day to take care of your pet. Walk them, feed and play. I’ll take care of your dog just how you would like me to and send photos if you miss them and want to know everything is ok!
About: Hello! For starters: I live with three amazing rescues dogs; Mazy, Sid and Jack. Jack is on medication for his back leg joint because he’s getting older so I do have experience with medicated doggos. Growing up I was in 4H since the age of 9 so I had great responsibilities on raising animals. I truly love watching them grow into their own personalities. Having that responsibility keeps me on task with what an animal needs in their daily life; food, water, cardio(depending on size) and lots of love! I’m currently taking online college classes so I will be available most mornings. My schedule is flexible so I can make arrangements. I’m looking for ongoing long-term schedules if possible. Please reach out to me if you’d like! I have a fenced yard for a smaller to medium dog. There is a park nearby my house, it is dog friendly and lots of grass to run in.
About: I have been pet sitting and pet walking for years. I love meeting other pets and while not working or helping out friends with their pet needs I have a dog of my own who is my companion and best friend. I am currently working from home and make my own hours. I have open availability. I care for my own dog so would like to be able to walk him in between other pet visits. My husband watch’s our dog when I am away so I am free for over nights. I can walk dogs to wherever their owner feels comfortable with them going. I can have play dates with them in their owners home. I can do anything the pet owner needs me to do.
“Gissell was very loving and obviously quite experienced. She bonded with my dog instantly. During her stay she also took him out for nice hikes and meeting new doggie friends. She is good with communication and sent pictures and clips of their hikes and beach visits. My dog likes her so much that the night after our return, he even went to the guest bedroom to look for her.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets of every kind since I was a kid. From dogs and cats to birds and turtles. Animals have always been a magical part of my life. Weekly animals are a huge part of my life. From caring for my own, to walking dogs and watching animals while their families are away. We live in a neighborhood that is very close to lots of great trails for hiking. My dog Abby loves making friends as do my kids.
“Leo was right at home with Olivia. She stayed with him in my home, took amazing care of both. She is calm, communicative, and really took the time to understand my expression of Leo’s needs. I highly recommend her, and will be booking with her again very soon!”

About: With nearly a lifetime of experience raising and training dogs, primarily hunting/sport breeds, I have been exposed to various handling styles and training techniques that have lead me to focusing on Free-Shaping my personal pack of dogs for the past 13 years. Because I have 3 dogs of my own (teenager, adult, senior) I have a pretty regular routine everyday of various activities with them individually and as a pack. Thursday through Sunday the flexibility of my open availability allows me to take on additional dogs on a part-time basis. Working with dogs will hopefully keep me from growing my pack anymore...fur now😉. My pups have individual crates, and beds to relax in the house. Big back yard, unfortunately unfenced, but there is a tether run and tie outs to use as needed. Dogs are never in the yard unsupervised. I transport them in a Chevy Suburban to other fun places around the Tahoe/Truckee area. Everyday is filled with multiple adventures, meal times in the early AM and late evening after a long walk. Individual needs or "rules" for your fur baby are completely respected, "it's your pup, it's your call".
About: I have taken care of family pets since childhood. I loved caring for my cats, dog, fish, mouse, rabbits, chickens and snake! I’ll love your pets and make sure all their needs are met. I’m currently working part time so I’ve got lots of free time for pet care. I hike or run ever day so I’d love to take dogs on these adventures. I’m a caring house sitter and leave homes clean and neat. I will care for pets in their own homes or take them for walks in the area. I’m happy to transport a pet in my climate controlled vehicle to exercise areas nearby.
“Dustin was great with our cats while we were away. We were gone for 11 days and nervous about leaving our cats. Dustin proved to be a very reliable pet and house sitter. We had a handful of items pop up while we were away. Dustin was quick to communicate and act on some special requests for us. He was responsive to our messages, sent photos everyday, and cared for our boys beyond our expectations for a house sitter. We’ll definitely be using Dustin again in the future!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—since I was about three years old. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, frogs, and birds, which gives me a wide range of experience beyond just the basics. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who may need extra patience and gentle care. My lifelong experience makes me adaptable, calm, and confident in handling different personalities, routines, and needs. Most importantly, I treat every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Even though I work a 9–5, I make time before and after work to care for animals, whether that’s feeding, walking, or just spending quality time with them. On weekends and evenings, I’m fully available for longer visits, playtime, and extra attention. Because I’ve always had pets of my own, tending to animals is already part of my everyday life—it doesn’t feel like an added task, it’s just what I love to do. In my home, I make sure pets have a safe, comfortable environment where they can feel relaxed and cared for. I keep their routine as close as possible to what they’re used to—whether that’s regular walks, playtime, or feeding schedules. I also give plenty of attention, affection, and stimulation to make sure they feel secure while away from their family. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all instructions closely. I make sure pets are fed, walked, and played with according to their normal routine, and I always take time to bond with them so they feel cared for and not just looked after. I also keep pet parents updated with notes and photos, so they have peace of mind while they’re away.
