“Dustin was great with my little pack of 3 and kept me in the loop with pictures, videos, and good communication through the weekend. I have 1 who can be shy and standoffish to new people, and typically will mope in his kennel the whole time, everytime I’m gone. He got zoomies as soon as he met Dustin and not only didn’t stay mopey during Dustin’s time watching them, but actually played with Dustin & seemed to have a great time! “I would give Terika and Dylan 10 stars if it were an option. They were outstanding! I have two large dogs that are not always friendly. They both loved Terika and Dylan right away. Several hours after I left for my trip, my house had to be evacuated due to a large, fast moving wildfire. Terika and Dylan took my dogs to their house, but it was evacuated a few hours later. They moved with the dogs a second time and were out of the houses for a few days. They were excellent at keeping me updated as to how everyone was doing during this stressful time. When I returned home, everyone was safe and happy. I would highly recommend Terika and Dylan to anyone looking for house sitters. They will take loving care of your fur babies.”

About: Apart from my own mini aussie, Hobbs, I have cared for friends and families pets ranging from puppies to equine. My own dog is going on 13 this year meaning I am no stranger to administering medication or following special care instructions. I also have my own flock of chickens (2 years old) that I’ve raised from a day old. I’ve had to treat them medically numerous times making avian care well known to me. In addition, I’ve grown up around and involved in care for horses and other livestock (goats, sheep). I’m currently going to school at UNR but classes are over at 3pm! Late afternoons and nights work great. The weekends I can accommodate virtually any time and overnights. I am working a part time job, so my fluctuating schedule will be reflected in my availability. While I don’t currently offer services in my own home, I have my own vehicle large enough for big puppies in case of emergency! Otherwise I will abide by any and all house rules and instructions :)
About: My childhood was surrounded by dogs. When I was 12, I had to completely take care of 4 pit bulls, a Dotson, a mixed breed medium sized dog, and 3 cats. I have watched a few friends and family's pets over the years. Before I moved here, I actually helped my cousin take care of his senior husky with low energy that needed shots for a medical condition and a 2 year old German shepherd with all the energy in the world. My foster mom also bred pugs for a living, and have had to help the momma pug give birth while my foster parents were gone. I also have a 4 year old female Black Mouth Cur named Ava, that I have had since 6 months old, and a 2 year old male pitbull terrier rescue named Bosco, that I have had for a year and counting. He is full of fear and needs a lot of patience to work through it, but after 5 months of touch and go work, he now knows what play is and has his own toys! He also is scared to eat or seems to not know what his feeding bowl is, but after different ways to show that feeding time is okay, he is slowly gaining the weight he should be at! Treats were his sweet spot for knowing it is a safe place, and my sweet Ava sped the process for getting him comfortable in his new home and now commandeers my clothing to sleep with in his bed. Due to Bosco being a rescue and has become very protective is why I can't offer in home sitting in my home but am open to dog sitting at client's homes. I am currently a new stay at home mom. I take care of my two boys and my two fur babies. I am more than ready to help others with their fur babies. Due to behavior of one of my dogs, I would not be able to comfortably care for your fur babies in my own home, but I will do the utmost care for your fur babies in your home! Give me all the rules you need followed; Outside during certain times, feeding strategies, don't sit in a certain spot or area in the home. Nothing is too much to handle! I have even taken care of dogs with potty issues and needed baths for their health care and hygiene of your home.
