About: Ive had many dogs over the years, ranging from large to small. Also, a cat thats been with me my whole life (19 years and just recently passed away.). Ive also had a friend teach me how to give a couple weeks old puppies some milk! Im up 9 am to 10 pm every day. Unavailable 2pm-3pm on M, T, W, T, F. I like have all of my time focused on your pets 😁 I stay on a schedule, give them space if needed, earn their trust, I have patience with animals, I have a room space for them for the day or night as well.

About: Hi, I’m Aly. I am a Reno local and graduated with a degree in Wildlife Ecology from UNR in 2020, so my passion is animals. I have been pet sitting on the side for about 5 years and have experience with small dogs, big dogs, bunnies, fish, and horses. I am able to provide any oral medication needed, feeding, walks, playtime, and whatever else your pet requires to be comfortable. No job is too big or too small! “I would give Terika and Dylan 10 stars if it were an option. They were outstanding! I have two large dogs that are not always friendly. They both loved Terika and Dylan right away. Several hours after I left for my trip, my house had to be evacuated due to a large, fast moving wildfire. Terika and Dylan took my dogs to their house, but it was evacuated a few hours later. They moved with the dogs a second time and were out of the houses for a few days. They were excellent at keeping me updated as to how everyone was doing during this stressful time. When I returned home, everyone was safe and happy. I would highly recommend Terika and Dylan to anyone looking for house sitters. They will take loving care of your fur babies.”

Before your first stay, I like to learn your pet’s feeding schedule, medications, normal behavior, exercise routine, veterinarian information, emergency contacts, household rules and any medical or behavioral concerns. Knowing what is normal for your pet makes it much easier to recognize when something has changed. In your home, I’m respectful of both your pets and your space. Doors, gates, medications, food, walks and household instructions are handled carefully, and you’ll receive regular updates and photos so you know how things are going while you’re away.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. From a Yorkie to a German shepherd I've been around different sizes Love to go for hikes or walks. Water days are always fun as well. I would like to walk dogs full time. My schedule is pretty open. Nothing after 1700. I'm open to weekends if we talk about it prior. I deal with reactive dogs a lot. If dogs don't know each other I tend to just handle one dog at a time. Some dogs just don't get along with others like people.

About: I own a car and clean record with driver's license so I can transport dogs to and from parks, or wherever the job takes me. My communication skills are seasoned with both humans and dogs. Thanks for reaching out for a meet and greet; if you choose to do so there will be no pressure to accept the booking. Generally I am up and I am able to start at 6:30am daily. I can generally keep your pet until later into the evening and overnight. Before our first sit, we can do an introduction to establish your pet's comfort zone. Are they high energy? That's good! I like showing pets affection, especially if they're anxious. They can often really use a run, walk, or visit to the dog park, and getting outside is something I enjoy doing with dogs. As a sitter, I see and interpret subtle body language cues that mean "I need space" vs. "I want a quick head scratch". A typical day under my care is predictable, peaceful, and entirely low stress: Feeding, water refreshes, and calm, low-energy relief walks. I speak in a soft voice. I cohabitate quietly. If your pet chooses to sleep under my desk or across the room, I let them be. If they approach for attention, I offer gentle, calm affection. I send one or two brief text updates a day to confirm all is well. While I practice a "light touch" approach, I am highly vigilant. I will reach out if they stop drinking water or eating when they should be, taking issues like this very seriously. Signs of physical distress (pacing, heavy panting, whining, or lethargy). Changes in bathroom habits. Your pet's health is my number one priority. My place will be ready for your loved one: I pet-proof my home room-by-room, anticipating jumping, digging, scratching, chewing, or trash-rummaging, while inspecting my space from a pet's eye level. I maintain eyes on, supervise all toy playtime to prevent swallowing broken pieces. I use a gate to block access to stairs, allowing them to come upstairs when I am going upstairs.

About: I worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years where I got to groom, feed and watch over dogs who would get dropped off for boarding or day care. I was also responsible for administering medication. I worked with all kinds of dogs no matter the size and have experience caring for puppies as well as senior dogs. I am currently working part time doing rehabilitation training for dogs with people aggression/fearfulness and dog aggression/fearfulness. I am very comfortable dealing with working with all types of dogs and I have proficient experience walking and handling large and or reactive dogs in high traffic areas.
