About: I grew up with dogs and cats, however, as a renter, I have not committed to one of my own. I have many years of experience loving and taking care of animals of all ages. I have experience with puppies and taking them to training classes. Each dog has it's own personality and quirks and I am happy to get to know them and their needs. I am happy to learn your expectations and meet them to provide your animal with the best care possible. I love going on hikes and would love to bring your pup along for the company! I am a student and work for a family near by. I am mostly studying at home or have time to let the dogs out as needed. About: As a pet lover and dog mom myself, your pets are my priority and I love getting to meet new dog and cat friends! I am comfortable with pets in all shapes and sizes, and have extensive experience with anxious animals, as my own dog is quite the shy guy. I live in Alpine Meadows and work at Palisades Tahoe, and am happy to give your pets the care they deserve on my off days and before/after work! I work at Palisades Tahoe as a ski instructor and live in the Donner Lake area. I typically work Friday-Sunday with evenings off. I can be flexible if needed! My dog is super friendly and he gets taken out every 3-5 hours if possible. I try to walk him every day, as well as letting him socialize with other pups!

I raised a Beagle (Billy) from puppyhood and proudly attended dog training classes with him (Billy and I both learned alot !) I've also had the joy of rescuing Summer, a gorgeous ex-show dog Golden Retriever, who was by my side for 13 years. After that was Bammer, an Alaskan Husky Lab mix. He was my adventure buddy, and always kept me on my toes! I also love getting outside for neighborhood walks, so your pup will get lots of fresh air, exercise, and cuddles. I have a fully fenced yard for safe play and potty breaks, and dogs are welcome inside the home as part of the family. Averyl was excellent in her care of our two grandogs, Bella and Harper. She connected immediately with both pups and gave them wonderful attention. We felt very confident leaving them in her care while our daughter and son-in-law were joined in matrimony. They obviously had a great day with her because they were quite relaxed when our children arrived home that night. Liz stayed with our 11-year-old golden retriever while we were away for the holidays and I could not ask for a better pet sitter. She communicates extremely well, sends daily pictures (but not too many), and did an excellent job taking care of both our dog and house. She left the house in great shape and even took out the trash despite the fact that I forgot to ask her to. Liz is great and I would trust her completely to stay with our dog next time we go out of town.
