About: I am great with pets of all ages and sizes. I have trained multiple puppies and am very compassionate with senior animals. I am comfortable giving medicine and and special care to senior/sick dogs. I am familiar with arthritic animals as well. I always give each animal tons of love and attention. I want you and your pet to feel like I am giving them the best care! I am an avid hiker, and am happy to take your animal on a long walk to get their energy out. About: I’ve owned and cared for anywhere from 2-5 dogs and 2 cats at a time my entire life, most of which have been rescues of all ages, sizes, and behaviors. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at the local Humane Society with dogs and cats for around 8 years and have dog and cat watched for family and friends countless times. I’m comfortable with administering oral medication, using feline inhalers, and caring for animals from puppies and kittens to senior dogs. I am generally available every day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but can start earlier or end later as needed. On Mondays I am only available until 3:00 PM. Animals love me and I love them- be it hiking and exploring a lake, throwing sticks in the yard, frolicking in the snow, taking a short stroll, chasing a feather on a stick, or just kicking our feet up for a chill day. I have 3 friendly dogs and 2 cats at my home (one laid back, one spunky 1.5 year old) and a large, unfenced area in the woods where dogs can be leash walked or free roam. There are 4 litter boxes and 2 cat trees throughout the spacious multi-floor house. My own dogs are outside playing the majority of the day with water bowls and a bowl puppy pool outside or cooling down inside.

I can work from your home, take breaks for walks, and adjust the routine around what your dog is used to. I live in the Tahoe area and spend a lot of my free time outside, so I’m especially happy to get out for walks, hikes, or just some time in the fresh air with an energetic dog. At the same time, I’m equally happy hanging out at home with a senior dog or a pup who would rather spend the afternoon on the couch. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and have experience with senior dogs, daily exercise, and oral medications. My goal is to keep your dog comfortable and on their normal routine while you’re away, take good care of your home, and send enough photos and updates that you know they’re doing well. I’m happy to meet beforehand so we can make sure it’s a good fit and go over your dog’s routine, favorite spots, and anything else I should know. I work remotely and have flexibility on weekdays and weekends to stay at your home full-time or do frequent drop-ins, depending on the client’s preferences. I take the utmost care for a clients space when dog sitting, respecting all guidelines, over communicating as needed, and leaving the space as if I was never there each time. I like to share frequent updates proactively so the owner can be at peace their dog is well taken care of.
