“Eric was so great with our pack! Juniper and Finn are strong pups and Eric handled them no problem. They seemed to really like him and he was super communicative during our trip! I am so happy we were able to find Eric to care for our pack (in two separate locations, which he was so accommodating with) and will definitely hire him again. Thanks, Eric!!”

“Lindi is wonderful and we couldn't be happier with our first Rover experience! Our boys love her and we love knowing they're getting lots of attention when we can't be at home. We will definitely be booking with her again... and again... and again! Thank you!”

Medication administration, cat sitting, dog walking, or senior care, whatever it is I’m here to make your life easier and ensure the happiness and safety of your pet while you’re away. About: Hello! I'm a highly experienced and dedicated dog sitter with a lifelong passion for animals. What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my commitment to providing personalized, high-quality care for each and every dog in my charge. I have many years of experience working with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, and I have a deep understanding of their unique needs and behaviors. I am trained in positive reinforcement methods and force-free handling, which allows me to build strong, trusting relationships with the dogs in my care. In addition to my general dog sitting skills, I have specialized expertise in several areas. For example, I have extensive experience working with senior dogs and am skilled in providing the extra care and attention they require. I am also knowledgeable about common senior dog health issues and can administer medications and monitor their health as needed. Another area of expertise is dog training. I am certified in basic obedience and have worked with many dogs to help them learn basic commands, improve their manners, and increase their confidence. I use positive reinforcement methods to train dogs, which means that I reward them for good behavior rather than punishing them for bad behavior. This approach is not only more effective, but it is also less stressful for the dog and builds a stronger bond between the dog and the owner. Overall, I am a highly skilled and dedicated dog sitter who is committed to providing the best possible care for your furry friend. Whether you have a young, energetic puppy or a senior dog with special needs, I have the experience, knowledge, and compassion to ensure that they are happy, healthy, and well-cared for while you are away. I am an independent business consultant so work my own days and hours. It allows me all the time to take care of your dog while you are gone. Proper pet care involves providing a safe and comfortable environment, nutritious food and fresh water, regular exercise, and routine veterinary check-ups. At home, this means keeping pets away from harmful substances, ensuring they have a cozy place to sleep, and spending quality time with them. When caring for pets in client's homes, I follow their specific instructions while ensuring basic needs are met. I also observe and report any changes in the pet's behavior or health to the owner. Overall, responsible pet care fosters a strong bond between the pet and caregiver, promoting the pet's well-being and happiness.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
