“Liz is fantastic! She has taken care of my two dogs (a senior Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Golden Retriever) for visits and walks during the day many times over the past couple of months. She is so responsive and communicative, and the dogs clearly love her! It gives me such peace of mind to have Liz spending time with our dogs when we are away for the day. I highly recommend her!”
“Eric was so great with our pack! Juniper and Finn are strong pups and Eric handled them no problem. They seemed to really like him and he was super communicative during our trip! I am so happy we were able to find Eric to care for our pack (in two separate locations, which he was so accommodating with) and will definitely hire him again. Thanks, Eric!!”

“Kelly took very good care of my two dogs while I was attending a holiday event. Having her come over to the house gave me peace of mind that the dogs would not get too lonely. Kelly communicated well and provided great details after her visit.”

“Jacqueline was great with my dog pepper! She was able to come and check on him, sent pictures, and let me know how he was during a long day of work! Great with communication, and would definitely trust her to check in/watch pepper again!”

“Lindi is wonderful and we couldn't be happier with our first Rover experience! Our boys love her and we love knowing they're getting lots of attention when we can't be at home. We will definitely be booking with her again... and again... and again! Thank you!”

“We were visiting Truckee to ski for a weekend and brought our 5 month old puppy! Chloe spent a few hours with her each day and was amazing - she was super communicative, reliable, and friendly. We will definitely contact her next time we are in Tahoe!”

About: Dogs have been a central part of my life for more than 10 years. I’m the owner of Furbal Remedies and have years of experience supporting dogs with anxiety, allergies, digestive sensitivities, mobility concerns, special diets, supplements, and medications. I understand how important consistency and attention to detail are, especially for pets with unique needs. My goal is always to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I work part-time and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide dependable care throughout the week. Whether your pet needs a daily walk, a midday check-in, vacation care, or extra attention while you’re away, I’ll do my best to accommodate your routine. I believe consistency helps pets feel secure, so I strive to keep their schedule as close to normal as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions so they receive the same thoughtful care they’re used to at home. I’ll always treat your home with respect, provide regular updates and photos, and make sure you have peace of mind while you’re away. For first-time clients, I prefer a quick Meet & Greet with you and your dog before their first booking whenever scheduling allows. It gives us a chance to meet, go over their routine, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before their first visit.
“Rose took great care of our cat while we were away. She sent pictures and videos of our cat during each visit and we could see that our cat was very comfortable with her. I will definitely contact Rose again if we need care for our pets in the future.”

I’ve helped train several farm dogs, cared for cats, and feel confident and comfortable working with animals of all kinds. Hey everyone! I work full-time Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Ritz-Carlton, but I’m still available for morning and evening care, as well as full house-sitting on weekends or whenever it fits your needs. I do also work as a server at Trokay from about 5-10 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping your pup company, I’ll make sure they’re well looked after. Feel free to reach out if you’re looking for a dependable house sitter! I’m comfortable caring for pets in their own home, where I can provide them with the attention and care they need. I have experience working with all kinds of animals and can ensure a safe, comfortable environment while you’re away. I’m happy to follow specific care instructions to keep your pet feeling at ease.

About: I helped my mom take care of 4 boxers growing up which we bought as puppies. I love taking care and watching my friend’s pets. I am also an experienced RN just taking a break from nursing. I will treat your pet as family. I am willing to fit your pet care in to my daily routine. Some times I have trouble waking up in the morning but I am motivated to make money right now. I don’t think having pets in my home would be best. My normal job is RN, moved here from PA, taking some time to collect myself in between jobs and find a travel assignment that works for me. I will treat your pet like it is my family. Thank you for your interest and consideration.

I would like to walk dogs full time. My schedule is pretty open. Nothing after 1700. I'm open to weekends if we talk about it prior. I deal with reactive dogs a lot. About: We’re lifelong animal lovers with over 25 years of combined pet care experience. Between pet sitting, house sitting, volunteering with Res-Que animal rescue, caring for medical cases, training puppies, and raising our own two dogs, we’ll treat your pets like they’re part of our family. We both work for the Washoe County School District in a self-contained special education classroom. During the school year, we work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and are available before and after work for pet care. We’re off every weekend, all major school breaks, holidays, and throughout the summer, allowing us to offer flexible scheduling and dedicate plenty of quality time, attention, exercise, and love to every pet in our care. Every pet is unique, so we tailor our care to their individual routine and needs. Whether in our home or yours, we’ll follow your feeding schedule, provide fresh water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications if needed, and plenty of love and attention. We strive to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible to reduce stress and help them feel safe and comfortable. We also provide regular photo updates and communication so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Kelly is caring and patient with all the dogs. It's wonderful that she played with our puppy which got the baby tired out so our puppy was extra relaxed afterwards. We will definitely book her again.”
About: Hi. My name is Hannah. I love to play tug of war and fetch with the dogs I have sat in the past. I have a flexible schedule to walk, feed, or let your dog(s) out. I look forward to helping take care of your dog(s) when you are out of town or busy. I look forward to creating a bond with you and your dog(s) soon. I work part time & hike/bike/raft in my free time so I am very available to help & offer your dog lots of exercise if they need it. I also enjoy trying new restaurants, especially dog friendly ones. I have a lot of free time to go exercise with your dog or just keep an eye on him/her at yours/our house. I am able to give medication & lots of love. Since I have had dogs of my own I am very good with other dogs, feeding them on time, exercising them everyday & just loving on them as much as possible.
About: I have taken care of dogs, pretty much my whole life, and have experience with all sorts of dogs. From golden retrievers to dobermans, pit bulls, chihuahuas, and German shepherds, I have experience with all kinds of temperaments and dogs and am able to handle and care for all of them in the ways they need. I volunteer at the Nevada Humane Society and have completed a Fear Free Certification. I have trained all of the dogs I have taken care of and am very dedicated to making sure that they are well taken care of. When they are your best friend, they deserve the best. I will make sure that your dog gets plenty of love and care, and will be played with, and walked around to give them the socialization and exercise they need and want. I currently work full time, but have weekends off, and can sometimes do evenings, and love to spend my free time with pets. I fit pet care into my weekly routine by caring for a german shepherd weekly. I provide care for the pets by taking them on walks, and following any other normal care that the pet would typically require. I have 2 five year old german shepherds, as well as a 13 year old cat, so I am well equipped in dealing with multiple pets as well.
About: I worked at a pet hotel and doggie daycare for a year. We would create play groups for certain compatible dogs, feed, administer medications, and clean up after them. I also have two family dogs for the last 10 years. I currently work Thursday-Saturday and have four days off. Also I will not be working at my current job for the full month of February so I will have full availability! I currently am renting a room in a house so I would be unable to have pets over. I would be able to stay the night at the client’s home only. I can bring pets for long walks/hikes or just relaxing and playing whatever need be. I would also like a video of the condition of the house I’d be staying at in advance.
“Keleigh is very sweet and respectful, dependable and so amazing with our pups. We have 3 handfuls and they loved her instantly, she kept us updated and was great at communicating while she was watching them. She is a natural! We have already booked her again for an out of town stay and I am confident there will be more.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of November 2026, there are 1,222 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Boca. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
