About: Hi, I’m Liz! Dogs have been part of my life since I was young, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs in a variety of in-home settings, including longer-term stays ranging from several months to over a year. When I was younger I worked on a farm and developed a deep love for animals. I live a very active lifestyle and would be stoked to take your pet out for walks, runs, hikes, and beach day swimming! I have a large vehicle which has easy transportation for bigger dogs. I take the time to establish a genuine connection with your pet and want to foster a bond built on mutual understanding and respect. Having trust from you and your pet is an important relationship to have. My home is on wheels which makes it easy to move around to meet your home sitting needs. I’m not able to host animals in my home. About: I have house sit for neighbors and friends since I was 12 years old, I have watched dogs, cats, even fish. I am great with pets and knowledgeable about a whole range of pets, from dogs to fish to even reptiles, amphibians, and birds. My schedule is flexible, I am available most days unless specified. I work from home as an artist. I would say my max preferred stay length is about 4 days. I have a large yard, live near many trails for walks, and the rest of my family love dogs. I have a dog, Lucy, she is 13 and can get a bit jealous, but overall she is very sweet.

About: Everything will be done to keep your dog safe, healthy, calm, and happy while they are in my care. All visits include the following: lots of walks tracked with strava, photo updates, and extra love. Your best friend will get filtered water from fresh bowls each day, and only give your dog food and treats that you provide. You deserve what you want during your dogs stay. Consider this a vacation for your dog, and that all their needs will be taken care of so you can enjoy your time on your vacation, staycation, or day trip. Skiers and Snowboarders, drop them for the day with confidence in my expertise. Your dog is the foundation of my routine. I love to work, and cherish the opportunity to provide my high level services for your dog so that you can enjoy your time without them. All dogs get extra love in the mornings, and structure during walks. Assuming our dogs get along I’ll let them play. If needed, I’ll keep my guy from being too friendly, and I am prepared to keep dogs separated if they aren’t the best fit to be together. But I also limit how many dogs I take at once, to keep things easy on me.

About: I grew up with a household of pets. After leaving my childhood home I moved to the Tahoe Truckee area and began working for a veterinarian. I studied animal behavior in college and I continued to work in the veterinary profession until my retirement in 2022, for 40 plus years! I have always devoted myself to the best of care for all of my own pets, including hamsters, parakeets, cats, dogs, rats, and chickens, and to the pets of friends and family including horses. I am very tuned into their health and medical needs as well as their everyday fun and attention needs. I love to walk and am very safety conscious. I am free to offer services many days. Now that I am newly retired I do spend some time traveling away from home or with other part time activities but, in general, my schedule is very flexible. As I currently have a senior cat who is afraid of dogs, I prefer most of my services be in your home or walking your dogs. However, some cat loving, mellow dogs might be possible for short periods in my home as needed. I do not have a fenced yard so outside time in my home would be leash walking time, dependent on the needs of your dog, for safety.

About: Dog walks, runs, hikes, parks, grooming, play time, and chill time. A lot of TLC of course too! Dietary needs vary by breed and by individual. We can talk about feeding schedules and any particular preferences. Experienced with medication administration if needed. I’d love to know more about the personality of your pet(s)! Are they good with other animals? Are they frightened by anything? What are some of their favorite things? Updates on the stay are 1-3 times per day with pictures (catered to your preference) Let’s meet! Have questions? Let’s set up a meet and greet through Rover at no charge. I look forward to meeting you and your fur family. My schedule is extremely flexible and I design it with your pets care in mind. I'm very conscious of each pets needs! I can be active and take your pup(s) on outdoor adventures or snuggle up on the couch with some treats. About: Raised on a cattle ranch, I have had experience with animals large and small my whole life. I joined Rover about a few years ago, shortly after my 120 pound lab of 9 years passed away, I wanted to be able to be around dogs and be able to be active by going on hikes and out to dog beach, but wasn't quite ready to bring to a new puppy into my life. I have house sat for many clients over the years: friends, co-workers & students families. I love to go on long walks, am comfortable administering medication if needed & providing lots of love for your dear furry friend(s). It’s been 7 years since I brought my lab puppy Pilot home & he absolutely loves having other dogs come to stay and/or join in on our daily adventures. Since covid hit he especially loves that I am a work from home dog mom now and we take a considerable amount of additional walks/hikes/bike rides each day. I would welcome anyone who is looking for Daily walks/adventures as well as longer term pet sitting to reach out as I would love to watch your furry friends. My dog Pilot would love to meet more friends to play with. Please note: I am unable to accommodate pets with any type of aggressive tendencies. I work full time from home, so your pet will be cared for and with the company of myself and my lab for their entire stay. I have a huge property with a doggie door and live near a variety of trails and lakes that can be accessed right out our door for our exercising adventures

About: Not only have I had pets my whole life, I have cared for other peoples pets as well. I pride myself as being reliable. I consider our pets as family. Each have personalities, emotions, and specifics needs like every member of our family do. This is how I approach caring for pets. I am an active person so would love to take your pet on adventures. I am a full time graduate engineer student at University of Nevada, Reno. I have classes I have to attend Monday - Thursday for approximate 4-6hrs. When I am not on campus I would love having a furry study buddy to hang out with or stretch my legs with on an adventure. At the moment I can not accept caring for pets at my home, although I more than happy to take your pet on a hike, walk or care for them in your home.

About: We have taken care of animals all our lives and have a genuine love for each of them. We have experience with it all; new puppies and kittens, as well as older furry friends who may need special treatment and/or administering medication. Between the both of us, we always make it a priority to work with our pups with lots of playtime, exercise, training and socialization daily. We both are self employed and create our own schedules so we are flexible and work together to ensure our pets have an enjoyable & active day. We have a large dog-friendly fenced-in yard as well as amazing trails just outside our backdoor. Our Aussie-Border Collie mix, Penny is super friendly and submissive and gets along with everyone. She is super gentle when needed and can hold her own with larger dogs also. We have a very well socialized cat, Eleanor, who LOVES dogs and visitors.

About: I have extensive experience with every kind of pet. Growing up, I had four dogs and two cats. When I got older, I began fostering dogs and cats of my own. By now, I have fostered around 50 pets all of various ages with varying needs. I have trained puppies, administered medications, and cleaned more litter boxes than I can count. About: My husband and I have always had dogs, I have had cats and bunnies as well. I have fostered kittens as well. We lost our elderly dog ( yes, we know how to carry a dog outside to pee and how to not sneak up on deaf ones) a few years ago. We have two young kids that LOVE animals. Rover is a way for us to give that pet love and hopefully receive it until we get our own dog in future. My husband works from home full time . I work part time out of house, but have chunks of week off of work. We would post availability when We are both around and have no trips planned We have a fenced back yard and an unfenced large front lawn. We have paths near our house for great outdoor walks. We can have well behaved dogs sleep in our room in beds if they like or if they crate sleep, we can place where they are comfortable. We are early risers so if your dog need out in morn, we can accommodate. I am a nurse and feel comfortable administering medications to animals as well.
