I am great with pets and knowledgeable about a whole range of pets, from dogs to fish to even reptiles, amphibians, and birds. My schedule is flexible, I am available most days unless specified. I work from home as an artist. I would say my max preferred stay length is about 4 days. I have a large yard, live near many trails for walks, and the rest of my family love dogs. About: I grew up with a household of pets. After leaving my childhood home I moved to the Tahoe Truckee area and began working for a veterinarian. I studied animal behavior in college and I continued to work in the veterinary profession until my retirement in 2022, for 40 plus years! I have always devoted myself to the best of care for all of my own pets, including hamsters, parakeets, cats, dogs, rats, and chickens, and to the pets of friends and family including horses. I am very tuned into their health and medical needs as well as their everyday fun and attention needs. I love to walk and am very safety conscious. I am free to offer services many days. Now that I am newly retired I do spend some time traveling away from home or with other part time activities but, in general, my schedule is very flexible. As I currently have a senior cat who is afraid of dogs, I prefer most of my services be in your home or walking your dogs. However, some cat loving, mellow dogs might be possible for short periods in my home as needed. I do not have a fenced yard so outside time in my home would be leash walking time, dependent on the needs of your dog, for safety.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I raised a Beagle (Billy) from puppyhood and proudly attended dog training classes with him (Billy and I both learned alot !) I've also had the joy of rescuing Summer, a gorgeous ex-show dog Golden Retriever, who was by my side for 13 years. After that was Bammer, an Alaskan Husky Lab mix. About: I've always enjoyed taking care of animals since I can remember. For the past 10 years, I've had family friends, coworkers, friends of friends, etc. reach out to me to either host their pets or at take care of them at their places; and I feel lucky to do so! I want to make sure every pup feels safe, loved on, and sleepy from a day of adventure! I have a pretty flexible schedule and am able to work remote a few days a week. I also have a great boss, who allows dogs to come to the office, if that is what the dog parents want! I live in a 3-bedroom condo, with only 2 rooms occupied, and plenty of space. We have a front porch that is able to be closed off, but I never leave the dogs fully unattended outside. My roommate does have a medium size girl dog, named Kalli. There are 2 dog parks in my neighborhood and plenty of trails. I would allow them to sleep on the couch if they wanted to, or with me, or in the guest room - whichever the dog and dog parent prefer!

About: I've had dogs since I was a boy with my first pup Emma sleeping in my room every night. Since, my wife Rose and I have adopted our dog Lily as a puppy over 7 years ago and before that cared for an ederly dog, Breyer, for about a year and a half where we made his last year comfortable. Last year we also adopted a couple kitties Frank and Poppy who can be precocious but generally keep to themselves. Lily is the biggest sweetheart (ask anyone on Rover) and now that we have our own home I want to invite other dogs over for playtime, boarding, and all the walking they can ever need. Lily has been through extensive professional training which included detailed methods for us on how to treat and take care of all kinds of dogs. I work from home full time on a flexible schedule so I can tend to dogs as needed. We have a big fenced in yard for play and the usual routine would be a long walk about 3 in the afternoon with frequent potty breaks as needed. Fully fenced in yard, dog house outside with a dog door. Essentially, if your pup comes to our house they are treated like a member of our family.
About: We have taken care of animals all our lives and have a genuine love for each of them. We have experience with it all; new puppies and kittens, as well as older furry friends who may need special treatment and/or administering medication. Between the both of us, we always make it a priority to work with our pups with lots of playtime, exercise, training and socialization daily. We both are self employed and create our own schedules so we are flexible and work together to ensure our pets have an enjoyable & active day. We have a large dog-friendly fenced-in yard as well as amazing trails just outside our backdoor. Our Aussie-Border Collie mix, Penny is super friendly and submissive and gets along with everyone. I am great with pets and knowledgeable about a whole range of pets, from dogs to fish to even reptiles, amphibians, and birds. My schedule is flexible, I am available most days unless specified. I work from home as an artist. I would say my max preferred stay length is about 4 days. I have a large yard, live near many trails for walks, and the rest of my family love dogs. About: Ive had dogs my entire life. We have three dogs of our own. Two small dogs - Dominic and Bella - who are both 11 years old and easygoing. We have one larger 40 lb entlebucher who is 2.5 years old, very friendly and loves chasing balls. I live with my long time partner of seven years on the west side of Petaluma, CA. I take our dogs frequently on walks, hikes, and/or visits to the dog park. We have two fenced yards, one in front with dog door accessibility and one larger yard in the back. I am preparing to go back to school, so until September I have free time to care for pups and take them on adventures! We go on morning hikes or visits to the dog park everyday as our dogs need exercise. If your dog needs to be walked separately, that is not an issue. I am happy to do multiple walks during the day. For doggy day care they would need to be able to get along with other dogs. We live in a 1000 sq. ft home on a large lot in West Petaluma. The lot is fenced in both the front and back areas. The front area is a lawn where the dogs mainly use it as a restroom, and it has dog door access. In the rear, we have a large yard with garden beds. I often go out there to read or work in the garden and will bring dogs out with me.
