About: Hi, I’m Liz! Dogs have been part of my life since I was young, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs in a variety of in-home settings, including longer-term stays ranging from several months to over a year. I’ve built strong, lasting bonds with each dog, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and needs. More recently, I’ve been providing in-home care for dogs in their own environments, including households with multiple pets. I focus on keeping routines consistent so each dog feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I aim to meet each dog where they are. Pet care is my primary focus, which allows me to spend quality time with the dogs I care for and be attentive to their needs throughout the day. I’m also comfortable supporting older dogs, including monitoring activity levels and helping limit strain (such as excessive jumping) to keep them comfortable and safe. I also care for cats as part of a combined household, and I’m attentive to their individual routines and personalities as well. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone new, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect reliability, clear communication, and regular updates so you feel confident and at ease while you’re away. I feel genuinely grateful for the wonderful clients and animals I work with, and it means a lot to me to care for pets who are so clearly loved. I’d love to meet you and your dog. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to walk, play, and give your pups love and attention, keeping them happy and safe. I care for dogs in their home, giving individualized attention, walks, and playtime. With experience in multi-dog households and extended stays, I ensure each pup feels safe and loved.

“Mickenzie did a great job watching taking care of Socks and Kitt last week. She made sure that they were feed during their usual schedule and cleaned their litter boxes twice a day. She even took photos for each visit. Socks seemed to be very comfortable around her. Kitt is still shy, but that is how she has always been around other people. I would be happy to have her take care of them while I am out of town again.”

About: Not only have I had pets my whole life, I have cared for other peoples pets as well. I pride myself as being reliable. I consider our pets as family. Each have personalities, emotions, and specifics needs like every member of our family do. This is how I approach caring for pets. I am an active person so would love to take your pet on adventures. I am a full time graduate engineer student at University of Nevada, Reno. I have classes I have to attend Monday - Thursday for approximate 4-6hrs. When I am not on campus I would love having a furry study buddy to hang out with or stretch my legs with on an adventure. At the moment I can not accept caring for pets at my home, although I more than happy to take your pet on a hike, walk or care for them in your home.

About: I have taken care of a variety of dogs and cats. I have experience dog walking, dog and cat sitting. I really enjoy bring people's pets outside for exercise and spending time with them at their home. I currently work full time in Reno so I have availability between 3:00 and 5:00 PM M-F but this can change upon specific request. I am available for over nights M-F as well. I enjoy making your animals feel safe and happy. I have experience walking and running with others' dogs and caring for older dogs who just need to be let out side for a short period of time.

About: Hello! I’m an avid animal lover and have grown up taking care of dogs, horses and cats. Due to housing restrictions, I currently can’t keep animals in my home so love spending time taking care of and playing with others. Before moving to Truckee, I was living abroad and using a different pet-sitting app from Rover, but happy to provide more reviews on request. I can offer full time stays or daily walks and checks, based on your needs. I do travel so 3 days advance notice is typically needed. I love keeping pets active and making sure they get to play - I’m a runner so long walks (and runs) are greatly enjoyed by both of us :)

About: Everything will be done to keep your dog safe, healthy, calm, and happy while they are in my care. All visits include the following: lots of walks tracked with strava, photo updates, and extra love. Your best friend will get filtered water from fresh bowls each day, and only give your dog food and treats that you provide. You deserve what you want during your dogs stay. Consider this a vacation for your dog, and that all their needs will be taken care of so you can enjoy your time on your vacation, staycation, or day trip. Skiers and Snowboarders, drop them for the day with confidence in my expertise. Your dog is the foundation of my routine. I love to work, and cherish the opportunity to provide my high level services for your dog so that you can enjoy your time without them. All dogs get extra love in the mornings, and structure during walks. Assuming our dogs get along I’ll let them play. If needed, I’ll keep my guy from being too friendly, and I am prepared to keep dogs separated if they aren’t the best fit to be together. But I also limit how many dogs I take at once, to keep things easy on me.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 12 years old! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, and even pigs! I am a dog mama myself and treat my dog like he is my child! He is now 10 years old and I’ve raised him and trained him since he was a puppy. He is back at home so I am always looking for opportunities to give other dogs some love! I have a ton of experience with dog sitting, cat sitting, and dog walking, and even some experience with puppy training with my own pup. I would love to meet your pup and give him/her the best care possible! I am a Tahoe/Truckee resident that does seasonal work so my schedule can vary from month to month. When I’m not having fun in the mountains, I’m always looking to add a little bit of puppy love to my life. That’s why pet sitting is a job that I love to make time for! I am not offering pet sitting in my own home because my landlord does not allow pets, but I will assure that your dog is well cared for in its own home environment! I love detailed instructions on the specifics that the owner would like me to do, and will follow them to a T. I am a pet owner myself so I know the stress of leaving your pet in someone else’s care! But, I can promise you that I will follow any instructions given and give your pet tons of love!

About: Ever get tired of hearing someone say your dog " is just a dog". Like what does that even mean?! Yes, I will treat my animal with the utmost love and care and I will treats your the same.❤️ I'm currently in school but taking online classes so I'm very flexible. I can work around schedules for those who are on a strict schedule. I follow same eating routines and provide bathing, brushing, exercise, poddy breaks, teaching new tricks and of course treat time. I let them roam free and explore.

I have worked as an Assistant Manager attendant at Dr Daves Doggie day care, and a Veterinary Technician for the past 11 years; more recently working at Sierra Pet Clinic for 6yrs. I would like to offer my sitting and walking services to anyone who needs them. Play time and walks are always a must! Being with animals is a passion of mine, and if you would like someone who loves animals, will treat your furry family member as one of their own - I’m your guy. About: I grew up with a household of pets. After leaving my childhood home I moved to the Tahoe Truckee area and began working for a veterinarian. I studied animal behavior in college and I continued to work in the veterinary profession until my retirement in 2022, for 40 plus years! I have always devoted myself to the best of care for all of my own pets, including hamsters, parakeets, cats, dogs, rats, and chickens, and to the pets of friends and family including horses. I am very tuned into their health and medical needs as well as their everyday fun and attention needs. I love to walk and am very safety conscious. I am free to offer services many days. Now that I am newly retired I do spend some time traveling away from home or with other part time activities but, in general, my schedule is very flexible. As I currently have a senior cat who is afraid of dogs, I prefer most of my services be in your home or walking your dogs. However, some cat loving, mellow dogs might be possible for short periods in my home as needed. I do not have a fenced yard so outside time in my home would be leash walking time, dependent on the needs of your dog, for safety.

About: Dog walks, runs, hikes, parks, grooming, play time, and chill time. A lot of TLC of course too! Dietary needs vary by breed and by individual. We can talk about feeding schedules and any particular preferences. Experienced with medication administration if needed. I’d love to know more about the personality of your pet(s)! Are they good with other animals? Are they frightened by anything? What are some of their favorite things? Updates on the stay are 1-3 times per day with pictures (catered to your preference) Let’s meet! Have questions? Let’s set up a meet and greet through Rover at no charge. I look forward to meeting you and your fur family. My schedule is extremely flexible and I design it with your pets care in mind. I'm very conscious of each pets needs! I can be active and take your pup(s) on outdoor adventures or snuggle up on the couch with some treats. I am currently not offering pet care services in my home, but I am more than happy to set up a meet & greet so that we can get to know each other and your fur family's needs!
