About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up my family fostered dogs and rescued abandoned pets we found on the streets of Florida, caring for them until they were healthy, safe and loved. That early experience taught me patience, compassion, and how to understand dogs of all personalities and backgrounds. Even though I work full-time, my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to step away during the day for dog walks or drop in visits which means pets in my care never have to wait long for attention, potty brakes, or some fresh air. I work eight hours a day, but my job allows me to adjust my brakes around the needs of the animals I’m caring for. At home, I’m able to host pets as long as they are potty trained and my husband- who has been an animal lover his whole life helps as well. We both enjoy going on daily walks together so bringing a dog along is something we truly look forward to. We also live very close to a national park and a local dog park which makes it easy to give pets plenty of outdoor time, exercise, and enrichment. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or a calm drop-in visit, pet care naturally fits into my routine every single day.

About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your pups while you’re out of town. Enzo and I can come to your place, or your dog can stay with us at ours. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! I am often off work for a week at a time. My schedule is variable because I work in health care. When I am not at the hospital working, I can dedicate the whole day to hanging with the pups Dogs will stay in the house with frequent potty breaks. We have a morning and evening walk each day at the very least - most days I try to spend the majority of the day outside with hikes and lake days

About: We are 2 sisters who have always had big dogs around (although no dogs at home currently), and we love taking walks around one of the many beautiful parks in the area. We have one cat of our own, and have experience administering medications, including pills, creams, insulin injections, and blood sugar tests. We have a large car with room for dogs in the back. Please let us know upon booking if you'd like us to walk you dog(s) around your neighborhood, our neighborhood (if nearby) or if you'd like us to take them to a dog park. We are trust-worthy people who follow directions well, so whatever you say is safe for your pets, will be our guideline. We always keep an eye out for any danger! We work from home, so we always have time for walks and pets. We have flexible schedules in general and are glad to work with you to find them best time. We always want to best for any animal and to make sure they are comfortable and happy. Feel free to give us any special instructions or guidelines that will make you dog's walk the best it can be!

As someone passionate about animals, with experience in dog sitting, walking, and training, as well as a veterinary assistant certification I can ensure your pet is in good hands. About: I have taken care of dogs starting at 14 years old working for a doggy day care before moving on to a vet office for a few more years. Now I just dog/cat sit for friends and family. I am currently working a hybrid schedule giving me the flexibility and time to take care of pets. I only go into the office three days a week and those times are flexible. This is a service I will not be offering at this time, maybe in the future if I am in a different living situation it will be something I can offer.

About: Hello, I’m Katie! Growing up I had lots of pets...dogs, birds, parrots, bunnies, hedgehogs, and I worked at my uncles Vet Clinic growing up. I’ve taught many tricks to multiple dogs growing up. I’m active and always on the move, always looking to help out owners and their pups needing housing or walks. I spend time at my cabin in Lake Tahoe, and travel frequently. Cheers! PS - Because I travel, I do not book more than a month in advance! I work from home and keep the back door open to my fenced yard so pups can come and go as they please. I’m flexible with times, locations and length, if I can help just ask! Full fenced large yard for pups to play and explore. My dining room has a row of windows to the looking into the yard to keep an eye out.

About: I am always looking for a furry friend to exercise with.. whether a trail run down the river or a hike around the neighborhood- I can definitely provide enough exercise for your dog or a mellow day of company! I am a local public school teacher- enjoying my summer off with pups in the mountains. I am understanding of every dog’s unique set of needs and temperaments. I have several references from local families who I have dogsat for throughout the years & can provide amongst request! I am available for dog walking only; 7 days a week. I am open to early mornings, all day dog daycare, quick visits at your home, or daily walk. I will be unavailable for boarding but happy to do home visits. I can take them on new adventures around the area or walk them nearby your neighborhood. I treat every dog like my own!

About: Have been taking care of pets for 50 years. Chickens, horses, dogs, cats mice, and rats can administer medication and supplements seniors just need more love I pretty much am available all the time except I volunteer at a pet foundation on Saturdays. Some animals are more self-sufficient and less would be needed. Any animal that I would board in my home would Need to like cats And a senior dog. My home Is large with large yard.
