About: Hi, I’m Monica, a Truckee local, animal lover, and pet owner with two cats and a dog of my own. A huge reason why I was interested in doing this is because I know firsthand how hard it can be to find a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter in Tahoe. Leaving your animals with someone else can be stressful, and I want people to feel confident that their pets are genuinely cared for while they’re away. I live an active mountain lifestyle and am great with dogs that love getting outside, but equally happy caring for shy cats, senior pets, or animals that just need calm companionship and consistency. I’ve also spent time involved in ski patrol and search and rescue environments, which I think speaks to the kind of person I am, responsible, calm under pressure, attentive, and safety-oriented. I’m currently building my Rover profile and offering introductory pricing while I establish reviews and relationships with local clients. I promise to care for your animals the same way I’d want someone caring for mine ❤️ I work remotely running my own accounting business, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be very present and attentive with the animals I care for. About: I have extensive experience with every kind of pet. Growing up, I had four dogs and two cats. When I got older, I began fostering dogs and cats of my own. By now, I have fostered around 50 pets all of various ages with varying needs. I have trained puppies, administered medications, and cleaned more litter boxes than I can count. I have a love for animals that I feel allows me to provide them with the best quality of care. I started my own Pet Care Business at just 9 years old and was complimented on my timeliness, care of the home, and active communication through photos/ texts with the families I am pet sitting for. I am currently working as a ski instructor with weekends and breaks off. I am home every day by 4 p.m. and prioritize an active schedule where I will walk and provide a lot of play time to animals. I am available to watch your pets 7 days a week and have a lot of experience in home visits as well. My free time will be spent making sure that your pet feels love, security, and tail wags while you are away. I have 10 years of experience with entering other people’s home for pet care. About: I have experience working at a doggy day-care. I was responsible for watching and entertaining up to 25 dogs at a time of all ages and sizes! I am currently working 4 days a week Tues-Fri. About: I would love to take care of your pets. I have taken care of pets for a few years now and would love to brighten their day. I am comfortable with any animals and any tasks such as walking, feeding, playing, esc. My schedule varies from week to week! I work as a music teacher so I am around for most of the day to spend time with your pets! I am available to care for pets in my home and I am available to care for pets in your home as well. I am also available for dog walking and will pick up your pets if needed as well.

I make my own work schedule and can generally accommodate your pet’s timing needs with a few days notice. I am available most week days and weekends. I have an active dog and senior cat, that also remains active. My free time is spent spoiling them. I have also fostered for the humane society at times.

About: As a pet lover and dog mom myself, your pets are my priority and I love getting to meet new dog and cat friends! I am comfortable with pets in all shapes and sizes, and have extensive experience with anxious animals, as my own dog is quite the shy guy. I live in Alpine Meadows and work at Palisades Tahoe, and am happy to give your pets the care they deserve on my off days and before/after work! I work at Palisades Tahoe as a ski instructor and live in the Donner Lake area. I typically work Friday-Sunday with evenings off. I can be flexible if needed! My dog is super friendly and he gets taken out every 3-5 hours if possible. I try to walk him every day, as well as letting him socialize with other pups!

About: Raised on a cattle ranch, I have had experience with animals large and small my whole life. I joined Rover about a few years ago, shortly after my 120 pound lab of 9 years passed away, I wanted to be able to be around dogs and be able to be active by going on hikes and out to dog beach, but wasn't quite ready to bring to a new puppy into my life. I have house sat for many clients over the years: friends, co-workers & students families. I love to go on long walks, am comfortable administering medication if needed & providing lots of love for your dear furry friend(s). It’s been 7 years since I brought my lab puppy Pilot home & he absolutely loves having other dogs come to stay and/or join in on our daily adventures. Since covid hit he especially loves that I am a work from home dog mom now and we take a considerable amount of additional walks/hikes/bike rides each day. I would welcome anyone who is looking for Daily walks/adventures as well as longer term pet sitting to reach out as I would love to watch your furry friends. My dog Pilot would love to meet more friends to play with. Please note: I am unable to accommodate pets with any type of aggressive tendencies. I work full time from home, so your pet will be cared for and with the company of myself and my lab for their entire stay. I have a huge property with a doggie door and live near a variety of trails and lakes that can be accessed right out our door for our exercising adventures
