I’ve owned and cared for anywhere from 2-5 dogs and 2 cats at a time my entire life, most of which have been rescues of all ages, sizes, and behaviors. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at the Truckee Humane Society with dogs and cats for around 8 years and have dog and cat watched for family and friends countless times. I’m comfortable with administering oral medication, using feline inhalers, and caring for animals from puppies and kittens to senior dogs.

Animals love me and I love them- be it hiking and exploring a lake, throwing sticks in the yard, frolicking in the snow, taking a short stroll, chasing a feather on a stick, or just kicking our feet up for a chill day. I have 3 friendly dogs and 2 cats at my home (one laid back, one spunky 1.5 year old) and a large, unfenced area in the woods where dogs can be leash walked or free roam. There are 4 litter boxes and 2 cat trees throughout the spacious multi-floor house. My own dogs are outside playing the majority of the day with water bowls and a bowl puppy pool outside or cooling down inside.

Sierra is an excellent communicator and it was clear my dog was so loved and cared for while she was charged with his care. She also worked seamlessly to help coordinate his care between other sitters. Highly recommend her!!

Sierra was fantastic. We booked her for help with our two cats super last minute after our sitter fell through and she was extremely communicative and helpful. She sent great photos and would check in with us about her timing and schedule. We will definitely reach out again and others should too.

Schedule
I have work from 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. I am available to do walks and drop ins any time before or after work and can house sit during the week as well. I am available any time during the weekends.
