About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up my family fostered dogs and rescued abandoned pets we found on the streets of Florida, caring for them until they were healthy, safe and loved. That early experience taught me patience, compassion, and how to understand dogs of all personalities and backgrounds. Even though I work full-time, my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to step away during the day for dog walks or drop in visits which means pets in my care never have to wait long for attention, potty brakes, or some fresh air. I work eight hours a day, but my job allows me to adjust my brakes around the needs of the animals I’m caring for. At home, I’m able to host pets as long as they are potty trained and my husband- who has been an animal lover his whole life helps as well. We both enjoy going on daily walks together so bringing a dog along is something we truly look forward to. We also live very close to a national park and a local dog park which makes it easy to give pets plenty of outdoor time, exercise, and enrichment. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or a calm drop-in visit, pet care naturally fits into my routine every single day.

If your pet is not comfortable in unfamiliar environments, I am more than willing to visit your home for a pleasant 30-minute walk. Additionally, I have Sundays and Mondays off, enabling me to spend the entire day with your pet at your home. I provide pet care in clients’ homes by following all instructions precisely, ensuring pets are fed, exercised, and comforted in their familiar environment. I maintain a clean space, respect property, and monitor pets’ health and behavior. Communication is key! I can provide timely updates and photos so clients feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for.

About: Like kids, dogs require patience. They are curious and full of energy. Being very active allows me to keep up with the puppies, & tire out the dogs for a great nights sleep. For the older dogs, cuddling and medical care are also among my expertise. I’ve worked in a dog kennel, as a veterinary front of house staff, and have cared for my own dogs along the way. In place of walks or if preferred, trips in the car to the dog park are always fun. Baths can be provided for the muddy play days, and there is ample in door space for the dogs to relax in during the day. I currently work only four days a week, and go in later in day. This allows for me to take the dogs to enjoy the sunshine and daytime, leaving a pooped pup in the evening for a good nights rest. I treat clients pets as they were my own, my best friend & companion. Being sure to tend to the things that make a dog a dog!

About: I am a transplant to California from the Mid-West and am working in Tahoe seasonally as a ski instructor at Alpine Meadows. I grew up with primarily cats, but I've spent over a year living with dogs, as well. I've cat, dog, and house-sat to rave reviews since I was a teenager. You can be sure your pet will be happy and healthy and your home clean and tidy with me! I have reliable transportation and am open to overnight stays as well as drop-ins. I love to stay active and will make sure your pets get plenty of exercise and plenty of cuddles. I am kind and responsible and will be sure to treat your home and animals like my own! Looking forward to meeting you! I am working full-time at the mountain and can take care of animals before and after the workday (8am-4pm + travel time). My days off are Monday and Wednesday. I am able to travel to take care of pets in your home and for house-sitting. I am unable to board pets at my ski lease.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities since I was young, helping neighbors, friends, and family with walking, feeding, bathing, and overnight care. I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs that need lots of exercise (I love hiking and am training for a half marathon!) as well as older pets who need a slower, more attentive approach (a good sit in the sun at ski beach or a grassy park). My goal is always to make their routine as normal and stress-free as possible :) I currently have a very flexible WFH schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting throughout the week, and I can often accommodate weekends and longer stays as well. Because of my flexible routine, I’m able to adjust to your pet’s needs—whether that means regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or simply keeping them company and maintaining their normal routine. I am currently studying online and working part time online, so my work can really be done from anywhere :) Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your pups while you’re out of town. Enzo and I can come to your place, or your dog can stay with us at ours. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! I am often off work for a week at a time. My schedule is variable because I work in health care. When I am not at the hospital working, I can dedicate the whole day to hanging with the pups Dogs will stay in the house with frequent potty breaks. We have a morning and evening walk each day at the very least - most days I try to spend the majority of the day outside with hikes and lake days

If you have any type of training protocols or skills you are working on with your pet, please let me know! I would love to continue them on the right path. I currently work part time and no longer than 6 hours when I do. I am available almost every day depending on what you are looking for. My house currently has two very friendly dogs, but also in your home I can follow whatever kind of protocol/training you prefer! I’m very flexible.

About: Growing up with dogs my whole life, there has not been a year where we have not had dogs in the house.... meaning we love them! To add to growing up with dogs, I (ambitiously) got a puppy during my senior year of college. This taught me to balance caring for a puppy while excelling in school and enjoying my senior year. This challenge gave me a new insight into putting 100% care into a pet and made my bond grow deeper with my dog, Josie. My family's dog, Molly, is a therapy dog for hospitals and schools allowing me to see the true joy that dogs bring into people's lives. That said, I truly enjoy finding the joy and laughter each dog brings into our home! Working from home, I am truly present to take care of and be attentive to all dogs. There are a few days where I will be unavailable due to travel or subbing at school, but those are blocked off on a weekly basis. Josie and I always start our morning with an activity. Josie loves to go on a morning run, so if your pup is a runner... get ready to join the pack! On the other hand, my family's dog, Molly, loves her walks and play time. We also have a park and great trails in our neighborhood meaning the day is open for adventures. Our condo is in a wonderful area close to the beach with lots of grass and easy access to walking trails. As a home welcome to dogs, we love having them sleep with us but can crate them if that is their safest spot. We have the space to feed dogs separately if needed.
