My own dog lived to almost 17 years old, so I’m very familiar with everything from playful pups to senior care, including medications, special diets, and extra patience when needed. I genuinely love being outdoors and going on walks, and I always make sure each pet gets the exercise, attention, and routine they’re used to—whether that’s regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, or just lots of cuddles and companionship. I live right by the national forest, which is perfect for safe, enriching walks in nature. I enjoy starting and ending my day with walks, especially since I live right by the national forest, so it’s easy to give dogs fresh air and exercise in a calm, natural environment. I’m also home most of the time, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care. For in-home visits, I’m able to adjust my schedule to match each pet’s routine and needs, whether that’s morning, midday, or evening visits. I always aim to keep pets on their usual schedule so they feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I always care for pets as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved whether they are in my home or their own. In my home, pets get a calm, relaxed environment with lots of attention throughout the day since I work mostly from home. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, and any specific care instructions. Living near the national forest also allows me to provide peaceful, enriching walks in nature for dogs who enjoy being outdoors. In my clients’ homes, I make sure to respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. I stick closely to your instructions so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. About: Have been taking care of pets for 50 years. Chickens, horses, dogs, cats mice, and rats can administer medication and supplements seniors just need more love I pretty much am available all the time except I volunteer at a pet foundation on Saturdays. Some animals are more self-sufficient and less would be needed. Any animal that I would board in my home would Need to like cats And a senior dog. My home Is large with large yard.

I make sure they are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise through walks and playtime, and receive lots of attention, companionship, and supervision while in my care. I also pay close attention to their behavior and needs to ensure they feel safe and well cared for in their own environment. When I lived in Cameron Park, I cared for five dogs of my own and kept them all very active through daily walks, outdoor time, and structured routines. Since moving, I no longer have pets of my own due to limited space and financial stability, but my experience with multiple dogs has given me strong hands-on knowledge of managing different personalities and energy levels at once. This experience has helped me stay confident and attentive when caring for other people’s pets, and I treat every animal like they are my own while they are in my care.

About: Hello, I’m Katie! Growing up I had lots of pets...dogs, birds, parrots, bunnies, hedgehogs, and I worked at my uncles Vet Clinic growing up. I’ve taught many tricks to multiple dogs growing up. I’m active and always on the move, always looking to help out owners and their pups needing housing or walks. I spend time at my cabin in Lake Tahoe, and travel frequently. Cheers! PS - Because I travel, I do not book more than a month in advance! I work from home and keep the back door open to my fenced yard so pups can come and go as they please. I’m flexible with times, locations and length, if I can help just ask! Full fenced large yard for pups to play and explore. My dining room has a row of windows to the looking into the yard to keep an eye out.

About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your pups while you’re out of town. Enzo and I can come to your place, or your dog can stay with us at ours. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! I am often off work for a week at a time. My schedule is variable because I work in health care. When I am not at the hospital working, I can dedicate the whole day to hanging with the pups Dogs will stay in the house with frequent potty breaks. I’ve had two pet dogs in the past that needed special attention and have experience giving medicine, especially with senior dogs. I can watch pets during the weekdays and weekend. Anything works from walk check-in and pet sitting. Anytime works if you need a sitter during work hours. I make sure the pets are safe . Provide breaks and play with them. About: I’ve been around cats and dogs of all ages my entire life! As long as I can remember I have looked after my friends, neighbors, and family’s pets while they were away. If you have any type of training protocols or skills you are working on with your pet, please let me know! I would love to continue them on the right path. I currently work part time and no longer than 6 hours when I do. I am available almost every day depending on what you are looking for. About: Growing up with dogs my whole life, there has not been a year where we have not had dogs in the house.... meaning we love them! To add to growing up with dogs, I (ambitiously) got a puppy during my senior year of college. This taught me to balance caring for a puppy while excelling in school and enjoying my senior year. This challenge gave me a new insight into putting 100% care into a pet and made my bond grow deeper with my dog, Josie. My family's dog, Molly, is a therapy dog for hospitals and schools allowing me to see the true joy that dogs bring into people's lives. That said, I truly enjoy finding the joy and laughter each dog brings into our home! Working from home, I am truly present to take care of and be attentive to all dogs. There are a few days where I will be unavailable due to travel or subbing at school, but those are blocked off on a weekly basis. Josie and I always start our morning with an activity. Josie loves to go on a morning run, so if your pup is a runner... get ready to join the pack! On the other hand, my family's dog, Molly, loves her walks and play time. We also have a park and great trails in our neighborhood meaning the day is open for adventures. Our condo is in a wonderful area close to the beach with lots of grass and easy access to walking trails. As a home welcome to dogs, we love having them sleep with us but can crate them if that is their safest spot. We have the space to feed dogs separately if needed.
