About: -worked with Denali National Park sled dogs summer 2020 -pet sitting and walking for friends and family -fostering and volunteering with dog shelters -lover of all animals I am currently home for the summer working as a bartender part time. I would love to use all my extra time to help animals. I live in a two story home in a quiet neighborhood. I have a large front yard. It is not fenced but it is a nice neighborhood to take walks around. There are plenty of walking trails that your dog would love.

About: I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references. I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine. My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.

About: I have spent my whole life living with and caring for animals of all kinds, ranging from self sufficient cats who sleep all day, to high energy dogs who require multi-mile walks and constant engagement. I can comfortably administer medications and assist pets with special needs. I will follow their routine closely, and if I'm staying in your home I can assure you it will be treated mindfully. Growing up I frequently watched my neighbor's pets and built great relationships with each animal. I got to know so many personality types and adapted to their lifestyles. I don't have any pets currently, and would love the opportunity to spend time with ones who need care. My ultimate goal is to make them feel like their family never left. I will be working part time this fall, so I will have lots of time to keep your furry friends company. Depending on your pets energy we can keep active or spend the day cuddling on the couch. No matter, their days will be filled with love and enrichment. I just ask that you provide each pets vet information and emergency contacts. I have a pet-specific checklist we will go over, ie diet, behavior, daily routine, etc. to ensure they will have a fun yet safe and clean environment while you're away. Dogs will stay on leash when out of the house (unless we go for a swim!). I can check in as frequently as you prefer and can confirm many photos will be taken.

About: Hi! My name is Erika and I live in Truckee with my partner Sully and our middle aged husky-mix, Willy. Although, we commonly call her by her nickname, Bill. We’ve been providing house and dog sitting for the past few years now as I have a flexible remote job. Typically I bring Willy with me when watching other dogs as she loves to play! My partner, Sully, will help with dog sits at times. We do travel, as we have a travel trailer, so we will dog sit outside the Tahoe area as well when on the road. I work remotely for a small startup based out of Truckee and have a flexible work schedule during the weekday. I walk my pup at least twice a day already but it is always nice to be in the company of other dogs. I keep my dog on-leash on walks to ensure she stays safe. I always make sure to not leave any food out she may get to, as she quite sneaky!

About: I've had an assortment of animals my whole life and am an avid animal lover. I have had dogs my entire adult life. All the way from puppies to seniors with special needs, short term and long term fosters, and rescues with unique personalities. I have also had dogs that needed surgical procedures and rehab so I know how to take care of animals who need physical therapy and/or extra special attention. I am known in my circles as the dog whisper and am on all of my friends emergency contact for anything that they need advice with. I believe in building a bond of trust and doing positive reinforcement training techniques with animals and humans alike. Pet and house sitting is my main gig. Which means that I have an open schedule and am available to help out with your fur babies. I would love to go to the beach, hike the trails and go on local adventures with your doggie(s)! Or I'll bring a stack of books and hang out with your kitty. Every animal and environment has their own unique set of needs. About: i previously worked at petsmart in petcare taking care of different types of animals everyday. as well as taking care of my own animals which includes dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ect i will be working 7am-4pm mon-fri. i’ll get up earlier to feed them and walk them if they need a walk. if needed and i can let them out on my lunch & i’ll be back after work to spend the rest of the night with them in my home my dogs have a fenced in backyard, when they’re inside they have lots of toys to play with and always have food and water available. that’s how i’ll be with any of my clients animals

We have a very safe backyard that is surrounded by a fence and we make sure to watch them whenever they go outside. We make sure that when we leave the house that we’re not gone for too long so that our dog can go to the bathroom and that both our dog and cat are comfortable and emotionally secure.
