About: Growing up with dogs my whole life, there has not been a year where we have not had dogs in the house.... meaning we love them! To add to growing up with dogs, I (ambitiously) got a puppy during my senior year of college. This taught me to balance caring for a puppy while excelling in school and enjoying my senior year. This challenge gave me a new insight into putting 100% care into a pet and made my bond grow deeper with my dog, Josie. My family's dog, Molly, is a therapy dog for hospitals and schools allowing me to see the true joy that dogs bring into people's lives. That said, I truly enjoy finding the joy and laughter each dog brings into our home! Working from home, I am truly present to take care of and be attentive to all dogs. There are a few days where I will be unavailable due to travel or subbing at school, but those are blocked off on a weekly basis. Josie and I always start our morning with an activity. Josie loves to go on a morning run, so if your pup is a runner... get ready to join the pack! On the other hand, my family's dog, Molly, loves her walks and play time. We also have a park and great trails in our neighborhood meaning the day is open for adventures. Our condo is in a wonderful area close to the beach with lots of grass and easy access to walking trails. As a home welcome to dogs, we love having them sleep with us but can crate them if that is their safest spot. We have the space to feed dogs separately if needed.

About: I’ve been a dog owner for many years and have cared for many of my family and friends pets while they have been away for periods of time. I’m take very close attention to the details of how one wants their animals to be cared for. I’m not working any other job right now so I have a very flexible schedule. I enjoy taking dogs on walk for multiple walks a day and I’m happy to add any extra requested detail the routine. There are some great trails near my house that are great for dog walks. I’m happy to attend to your dog with any specialized instructions you may have for taking care of them at your house.

About: I am a primatologist by trade and have had extensive experience, training, and education on wildlife and pet animal care and behavior. Thus, I am very good with animals and also grew up with many pets over the years. I have assisted in training puppies and have worked alongside vets, animal trainers, caretakers, and researchers. I am currently working as the Animal Care Supervisor at Pet Network Humane Society in Incline Village, NV I am temporarily home with my family in Incline Village while I apply for PhD positions and programs for a fall start. I am available any day and times of the week for pet-care, feeding, walking, playing, training, and even outdoor activities such as visiting the dog park or going on a hike. I intend to give my full attention to your pet to ensure that all their needs are met and happy to adhere to your requests in the safety of your home and during outings. I work full time at the pet network humane society in incline village and am applying to Phds from home with our 3 dogs and cat! I work Wed-Sat 7:30am-6pm I have a yard and know how to keep your pet safe, healthy, happy, and have the ability and opportunity to always provide a fun or calm environment— depending on YOUR pet’s needs.

“Gissell is awesome! She accepted my doggy daycare request on short notice and took great care of my baby boy Henry. Her senior dog Sierra is a sweetheart and still has a lot of pep in her step. Gissell’s home is super nice, clean, and a great space for dogs to sniff around, roam in the yard and sunbathe on the porch. I received pictures and videos of Henry during his visit and he barely wanted to come home with me he had such a great time over there. Thanks so much Gissell!”

About: Hi! My dog Enzo and I enjoy hiking around Tahoe. I would love to take your fur friend on all of the adventures with us! I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. I would also be more than happy to take care of your pups while you’re out of town. Enzo and I can come to your place, or your dog can stay with us at ours. I work as an emergency room nurse so my shifts are variable, but I have four days off each week. When I am not working, I am able to be with the dogs doing dog adventures all day long! I am often off work for a week at a time. My schedule is variable because I work in health care. When I am not at the hospital working, I can dedicate the whole day to hanging with the pups Dogs will stay in the house with frequent potty breaks. We have a morning and evening walk each day at the very least - most days I try to spend the majority of the day outside with hikes and lake days

About: I currently work from home, previously I was a Veterinarian Technician. I have experience with dog and cat companions. I work closely and constantly with improving the quality of life for animals. I was devastated the first time I witnessed an animals death which took place in India and was left wondering if we as humans have done everything we can to have provided for our fellow friends. This experience led me to dedicating my life to improving the health and well being of animals. This was the start of Karma Animal Trust, which I travel to India every year to assist in Veterinary care and fund raising all year long. As a co-founder and volunteer of Karma Animal Trust in India, I take action to help ease and eliminate the suffering of animals of Rishikesh. We provide emergency care and run spay/neuter programs. My volunteer time is my way of giving back to the animal world. My passion for them is what brings out the best in me. I'm qualified to help you with your companion because of the various types of dogs I've worked with professionally. I have experience with Military Working Dogs, rescue shelter dogs, Alaskan husky sled dogs, stray dogs as well as patients at the animal hospital I worked at. It is clear to me that I should devote myself to such work, and would love nothing more than to provide a happy life full of love and adventure for any and all dogs that I can. I realize just how fragile life can be and take full responsibility for every moment I am with a canine. I graduated with a degree in medicine and am currently in education of veterinary medicine. Can't wait to meet your pup! My schedule is flexible as I work from home. I can rearrange dates and times according to the owners individual needs for their beloved pets.
