“My pup has been my travel buddy for eight years and there was the first time I had to find her day care in the area I visit often. Kathy took such great care of my pup and I got tons of cute photos. I will definitely book with her again when I go skiing in Tahoe.”

“Luke was amazing!!! Not only was he communicative, he was knowledgeable about dogs. He explained the reason why our pup does some of things he does. Our dog is very anxious and gets stressed easy but with Luke he fit right in and was cool and calm. 100% will be bring our dog back to Luke not only for sitting but for some training as well! Thank you again!”

“Thank you for taking such great care of our dog! We loved the updates and really appreciated your reliability and kindness. Oreo was happy and relaxed when we got home. Highly recommended!”

“Malea was fantastic! She’s accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable about dogs. She was timely and quickly engaged my dogs so they were happy to follow her anywhere. They were so well cared for that they were totally relaxed after we returned. We’ll definitely call on her again. Ellie J.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and honestly can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a pup in the house. I grew up in a family that always had multiple dogs at once — labs, cocker spaniels, dachshunds, golden retrievers, goldendoodles — plus all the neighborhood dogs that seemed to end up at our place for playdates or pet sitting. Caring for different breeds and personalities has always just been part of my daily life, not something I had to learn later. Since moving out on my own, my roommates have almost always had dogs, and I naturally end up sharing responsibilities — walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure they feel loved and included. I’m a big “dog person” in every sense: I connect with dogs quickly, read their body language well, and make a real effort to help them feel safe, calm, and happy while their people are away. Whether your dog is high-energy and playful or more of a couch snuggler, I’ll treat them like my own and keep you updated so you can relax while you’re gone. I currently work fully remote and have about a 20 to 30 hour per week workload, which leaves me with plenty of extra time each and every day! I’m a very active person and tend to fill my downtime with walking hiking cross country skiing or downhill skiing whenever I can and my flexible schedule certainly helps that. I’ll be more than happy to do just about anything that you request to make your dog happy and comfortable. Let’s just talk about it first!

“My pup had a fantastic time with Skyline! She went out for a long hike with other friends in the morning and then played at the beach in the afternoon, and by the time we brought her home, she was so happy and tired. Skyline was very communicative, clearly cared for my pup and her other dogs, and was flexible around a scheduling mistake that I made. Will definitely book her again!”

I believe personalized (or dog-alized) care is important. I'd love to be in communication with you prior to service in order to talk about dog needs and routines. I'm also always available for communication while with your dog and will send daily photos!
“Ruthanne is hands down the best dog watcher I have ever experienced. She was super communicative and won my dogs over faster than anyone else… she responded to my texts when I was skiing teaching my nephews and sent me photos.. when I came to pick up the dogs, they were playing along with the neighbors dog and her own in the snow of their front yard, along with the neighbors and the neighborhood children!! I would trust her with my dogs in a heartbeat… looking so forward to using her again!”

“Katie took great care of our dog during our stay in Truckee. Lots of play time in the snow. Katie was very kind, communicative and shared terrific photos of our dog enjoying her day. Highly recommend Katie for your dog too!”

“Micaela took excellent care of my cavalier, Chowder, while we went to a not dog friendly part of the lake. He had so much fun with her, will book again next time we’re in town!”

“Emily and her family were absolutely wonderful! Not only was she flexible on pick up time to accommodate Sunday traffic from the mountain, but she’s extremely responsive and easy to reach, perfect caretaker for your fur baby. Oliver was so at ease in her home, walking right in, and smiling on his walks and playing with Emily’s baby. Great rover! Will use her again if back in Tahoe!”
