Energetic Dog Mom, Happy farm Home
Hi, I'm Meghan, pretty new to Rover, so don’t have many reviews yet but can send references for the dogs I have trained if needed! I have a large fully fenced yard on about 1.5 acres. As well as a large 3 bedroom home with plenty of space for your loved ones. I love doing all things outdoors, and have a very active lifestyle. I do have 2 dogs Jaxson and June that get along well with all dogs at any age. If your dog does not get along well with other dogs. That’s okay too!:) The house can be divided into two with access to the back yard on both ends. I know separation anxiety happens a lot to our pets while we are away! And find it highly important to make sure your dog/cat are just as comfortable as they would be at home. And that’s what I like to provide. Whether that’s a 10 mile walk/hike to get the energy released, cuddles by the fire, fetch in the back yard, or homemade treats, they can find it here with me. I have one year experience as a licensed veterinarian assistant at Pilchuck Veterinarian Hospital. As well as many years working at a doggie day care & boarding clinic. (K-9 corral, lakestevens) (crittier sittier, Burlington) Dogs, and training dogs are my passion. Rarely is there a single day you wont see me at Donner lake or the legacy trail with my two heelers. I have experience with reactive dogs as well so feel comfortable to let me know if you have a reactive dog. I grew up as a small town farm girl with dogs always around as well as other various other farm animals. I have also worked with many police dogs, primarily German Shepards, while I was a working at Pilchuck Vet hospital and boarding. I am a wildland firefighter EMT with the entire winter off so have plenty of time. I do work an occasional weekend for about 5 hours. But have a pretty open schedule for your loved ones. Please feel free to reach out and ask any questions you might have.

Meghan was really great! Felt so comfortable and reassured to have the boys in such great care! Will definitely re-book with Meghan

Meghan was incredible! She obviously loves and is great with dogs. She communicates throughout the stay and is super reliable. Our dog Georgia came home every day tired and happy after many dog adventures. I highly recommend Meghan.
Meghan is the best! Great communication and easy to work with. Soka came home happy and tired today.

Louis loved Meghan! He will be back!! She came and picked him up and was so attentive of all his needs!

Meghan is fantastic - a great communicator, loving and thoughtful with our dogs, and easy to work with. Our 2 dogs came home tired and happy - and they were excited today when they saw her again. We visited her home in Sierraville, and really appreciated the huge fenced in yard, and closeness to walks away from the road. We’ve already booked a f/u visit with Meghan.

Meghan was awesome! She was very easy to communicate with and sent lots of pictures and videos. Donut got to do all kinds of activities and got along well with her dogs. I will definitely use Meghan again!

Comfortable giving meds. And dog physical therapy, massage, laser treatment ect. I have lots of experience with reactive dogs as well. So feel comfortable to just let me know. If you have an active dog I love to spend the whole day outside hiking, swimming playing fetch, no matter how the weather is outside. Spent 1 year as licensed veterinarian assistant.

A typical day
Depending on the weather, and snow levels. I typically take my dogs to shady rest dog park to play fetch or walk around. We live in a tucked away neighborhood away from busy streets so we do a walk around the neighborhood loop as well. If snow levels are high and we cant play fetch at Shady Rest we walk down Sherwin creak trail. Its beautiful and the pups have so much room to run.
